Do you even know what a chain atack is? Do you know that Sukako will fly the flag automatical in a chain atack? She needs nearly no field time. You Stun break the enemie and then chain Sukako in for her buff ...
@@Raistlin2k yes I know what it is and I’m not only specifically talking about her chain attack when I say field time. I misspoke about the chain attack part that’s one me but in comparison to every other support unit in the game her on field is still the longest if we are talking about MO because we need to consistently build the 3 charges to maximize the 1000 ATK buff.
@@SolessSolXS I play her with anby and ellen. I only switch her in for chain attack and some time a parry assist and switch instantly out. I do not see any required field time.
@@Raistlin2k she only gets one per chain attack tho right? So wouldn’t it be faster to get the ATK buff by switching into her for EX too? When looking into her review on Prydwen it’s worded as if you want to give her a rotation outside of just only doing chain attacks to trigger the buff more often because only doing on CA sounds like a loss in DPS but I could be wrong
@@SolessSolXS She opnly needs the vortex stags for Frost Banner wich increases her own damage on fly the flag ... not for the fly the flag buff. I play her for her buffs not for her damage.
Anton is busted fr, granted you have enough copies of him. I have him C6 with his signature S2, with Thunder Metal4/Woodpecker2, running with Grace & Rina. I swear whenever it's his turn he completely melts everything on the screen.
I think Corin is a hybrid Stun/DPS that can fit in to roles where she is needed. I want to build mine for more Impact but haven't gotten to the point where I farms discs.
Corin's issues are extremely overblown and you are overlooking the real reason they moved her up, which is that she deals a lot of damage. She need Lyacon and her A rank signature weapon. Her Sig provides a ton of off-field energy generation and every time the enemy is stunned either her Burst or EX Skill is up. And she can't do standard rotation, so Lyacon easily taking up all the field time and stunning quickly is the solution. Looking at Prywden calcs on the website, her burst rotation dps at M6 is nearly equal to M6 Ellen's dps. Why shouldn't you build a team around a dps that hits that hard when the option is available. On personal experience, I was able to clear Shiyu 13 with level 40 units despite skipping Ellen because my M1 Corin carried her side. I honestly do think that in the long term she will end up being from the stronger 1.0 dps units.
I'm not overlooking it because they themselves say that her damage inconsistencies are her weak point and even mentioned that her being on the field is a lot of DPS lost when she doesn't have EX ready because the damage drop-off is so big when in comparison to other Pure DPS units they aren't essentially forced to only be out when enemies are dazed. Also, keep in mind she requires some of the highest energy cost in the game while also being a pretty sluggish unit. Personally having a Pure DPS with damage issues because of inconsistencies. while having an expensive energy cost, and sluggish mobility just sounds like a unit not worth it to me no matter how good her max DPS is. I rather build Billy and at least have consistent damage personally is all
@@SolessSolXS But thats the thing, its not inconsistent when you build around it. Corin needs either her EX skill or Burst to be up when the enemy is stunned, one of them is 100% up when the enemy is stunned thanks to the signature weapon providing off-field energy. Lyacon is needed for her, because unlike Anby his basic attacks apply stun like crazy and he is very mobile. You may not like the playstyle of the stunner having the majority of the field time, but that doesn't make it weak. She is very much not a flexible unit and cannot carry a team without proper teammates, but her weaknesses can absolutely be worked around. She is a unit that is meant to deal high damage in a small timeframe and then to switch off from to setup for another rotation.
But her weakness does make her weak which is why she is placed low. Having to work around her issues for me personally just doesn't seem worth it in the grad scheme of talking about the meta of the game. I'm not saying you can't make her work because you can make every character in the game work but I just don't agree that what you have to do in order to make her effective at her roles validates her being above Billy and next to Anton is all.
@@SolessSolXS I think we view this issue fundamentaly differently tbh. I evaluate how characters perform based on their optimal team performance, rather then how units perform in a vacuum. Other dps characters being able to dish damage even solo or having no consistency issues is not an advantage in my eyes, because I see their value from their performance in their best teams, where none of it is a consideration either for them or for Corin. And tbh, I find it strange how you think its not worth the effort of working around her issues, when there is no effort involved, just the binary question if you have the right stunner and weapon to use her with. And if you have the tools to use her, why not use her when she does more damage than the alternatives. Other then of course not liking the playstyle.
@@nagorner3791 I think both factors need to be taken into consideration. The unit on their own since this is a gacha and everyone won’t always have her desired team as well as them with their optimal team performance. I feel if her value is locked behind needing a specific team to perform well, then her overall value is lowered imo especially with the weakness she has. Like you mentioned she’s not flexible and I think flexibility is important when talking about a character strengths since we are playing a gacha. I also think that majority of her DPS being locked behind her EX and being as rough as it is without it just feels like too heavy of a downside but again that’s just me. You think otherwise and I respect. This even has me interest to possibly invest in her more in the future to see if my mind may change
Hard to take their tier list seriously when they're still getting Neko (and by extension Piper and Corin) wrong. Makes me wonder where else they're not accounting for more advanced strats.
Hmm idk. I think Piper and Corin are in proper spots but Neko doesn’t seems to be getting played a lot so it might just be a lack of representation for the character with players truly testing her
@@SolessSolXS I don't think Piper or Corin are misplaced (well maybe Piper). The problem though is they're still stuck on the Neko/Anby/Nicole crap. Neko's best team, which is arguably the second best team comp in the game rn, isn't even on their radar. And since that team runs Piper and Lucy, that's going to effect the completeness of the info they're basing their ratings on for those two as well. Corin's in the mix only because of the triple physical version (Neko/Piper/Corin) of the Assault strat, which from what I've heard goes back to the CBTs when it was Billy instead of Piper. The Billy version isn't nearly as good (Piper OP), but my point is building Neko around Assault is not exactly new and has always been better than the Hares comp. If being the best team comp heavily influences the ratings for Ellen, Lycoan, Soukaku, and Rina, then conversely missing the second best team comp affects the ratings of the Agents in it.
@@jeffkoenig7402 if I’m not mistaken they are including the comp because Soldier shares that same comp as her best as well for now. @@SolessSolXS all I know is if you go to their Neko section and look at suggested teams, they only show Neko/Anby/Nicole. No version of the vastly superior Assault teams, which is why I assume they're not taking them into consideration for tiering.

While for Wuthering and ZZZ, they're pretty decent, considering the games just came out. Prydwen is legit because they constantly update the tierlists, after more and more testing and community feedback.
@@AndreiSorin1994Prwyden tier lists do have an issue. They tend to rely far too much an raw calça and that results in some mistakes on these lists. For example, Nicole is definitely misplaced, she should've been in 0.5 together with Rina. And Sokaku is also 0 tier WHEN she's on Ellen teams. Because while her 1000atk buff may seem like a lot they aren't superior to Nicole or Lucy's buff. Sokaku only has her buff and her freeze for normal teams, Nicole has the easiest assist triggers, she can have enemies debuffed for a long freaking time. And Lucy has less atk on her buff, but she also provides DoT with her summons, that increases the overall damage of the teams, she doesn't lose to Sokaku in this aspect. The only reason Lucy is slightly worse here is because her assists are slightly harder to come by

I just like seeing thoughts on the game and seeing how they change over the time. This won’t be too often tho
Anton deserved higher since that combo technique came out which just gives you 100% boss kill chance
I do think he deserves to be higher but not for specifically that. He's just a great unit all around imo
Anton's position accounts for his base version. Anton becomes astronomically stronger with some Cinema/Mindscapes.
