I agree with the title, this PC is amazing. I may have missed it, but will this be your main rig moving forward?
Yes and I may eventually move everything to a normal case with better storage support and dust filtration.
Hey I think I know that guy
@Oz why you're not uploading any videos lately 😣😣😣
@@anky_but_on_steroids3750 college probably
Joshithprogamer h
YES!!! HANDLE IT!
Also, this guy really took a rubber mallet to this case haha, love it.
Yep, and the hard work paid off. It looks like mine w/o RGB
Hello I need help I have a pc that should be able to stream it has a Xeon e3 1220 and an rx580 8gb with 10gb of ram is it my internet should I get a Xeon e3 1230
@@ThomasLancheros-kg1nl I don't know much about computers either but you can get help at Reddit. There is a subreddit called /buildapc, I recommend you go there
@@ThomasLancheros-kg1nl from what I see on the specs of the e3 1220 and the 1230 it wouldn't make much of a difference. There seems to only be a 100MHz difference between them. It may make no noticeable difference at all.
I can't really tell you anything about streaming though and especially not streaming on a lower budget.
@@ThomasLancheros-kg1nl bruh, if it's the v1 e3 1220 lga 1155 then you might be able to play at 1080p but you might struggle with streaming at the same time. The v1 e3 1220 is worse than any ivy bridge i5.
This is insane. Very well done man.
11th like bruv
matt: makes a sleeper pc
also matt: ill put a side window too
me: bruhh
I liked this a lot Matt :)
When I saw the case in the start of the video I knew it is going to be epic
This guy's is an engineer, hidden talent..
Bro your bends are fire , you seem like a pro water-cooling guy keep going can't wait for the next video
I admire this whole thing, man. The attention to detail and tenacity to make it work! Great job! Wow.
The amount of work that went into this is impressive
I Agree Matt... Building into an old IBM cases can be amazing! I built into a mini form factor IBM Net Vista (circa 2005) A lot of metal grinding and fabrication and a mini ATX board will fit beautifully. Thanks for the custom video install.
I can never forget this project, love this video. Keep it up. I'll watch every video that you upload.
For your first time it worked very well. Impressed, keep up the good work!
Man I still remember 4 years ago when he posted $200 & $300 part picker builds ...now he gets sponsors from corsair....keep going bud ....I keep loving your content more and more with each new video.
Again, your ingenuity and creativity is mind blowing. You never stop coming up with ideas for these videos and you cease to amaze me. This is such a cool build I watched the whole way through and am still amazed you put this together. Great video as always :)
Wow I waited for so long for a new vid from u and here it is!!
I love all the comments from other pc youtubers. Love the unity.
the passion in this project is astounding!
Just come across your channel and I've gotta say, I absolutely love your sleeper builds.
mat: 'opens case' "ahhhh yes my $1000 pc in a $10 case"
Me: ah nice a computer with no GPU lets game
Me: nvm
$1000 hahahahhhahaa
More like $4000
Hello Matt. This is another great video. Thank you for producing it, and showcasing your work. - Rob
Bro its really amazing PC and your efforts are obvious.. the final result is mind blowing
The cuts on your fingers explain it all. Good work on yet another great video! The PC looks amazing and a beginners guide to water cooling would be very very helpful. Have you thought of doing a budget waterloop using cheaper parts :)
One of your best videos, love your DIY skills and ideas mate!
It came out amazing! Great job
Usually i always skip videos long than 10 mins but damn the way you're explaining it is really good, I'd rate 10.1/10🔥
Yeah the build came out really cool. Great job Matt
Matt, you make the BEST PC building videos on the web. Since I started watching your channel I think I could build my own PC if I wanted to. I don't think I will try water cooling though. Thanks for the great informative videos!
Congrats.
This content truly give inspirations.
Fantastic build Matt. Very much like you to rock a case and components like that. I'm Inspired to build something similar. Hope you use this as your daily driver for a while. Thanks for the great videos.
Loved that water cooling
Great idea with cable management shroud, will do the same for my CORSAIR SPEC-5 CASE
This is insane!Well done,partner!
That's actually a very good idea for making a side window. Actually very impressed by the idea.
Great build, boss! I love sleepers 😁
AMAZING job on this one. It looks great!
The Title: "Sleeper Gaiming PC"
The PC: "HEY! LOOK OVER HERE!"
Great video i love sleeper pcs. Keep it up.👍🏼
Dope build man. I love it. My first build i kept it simple. In a few years I'm going to custom water cool my next build 😎 👌
dude ! you're so creative !
You're the man Matt.
This came out so good, man!
I'm clearly impressed.
Now this, this is truly epic.
Awesome job ! Congrats
Love it Matt! I really want to do a sleeper build!!!
Holy....I love the work great parts too
WOAH!!! IT LOOKS COOL!!!
Bruh that thing is gorgeous. Really reflects the effort you put into it!
If you have the footage for the watercooling bit, please do. Otherwise I'm not gonna ask you to put in all the work if it's not heavily requested.
Instructions unclear. I have the same case i opened it up, didn't look like this.
i don't think this is a tutorial with instructions, but a log of what he did
lejacobo sorry but I have to do it to you woooosh
@@lejacobo i think its a joke
@@lejacobo woooooooooooosh
dang.
That custom basement was so ingenious, the whole time at the start I was thinking how you’d manage the cables lol
Daaaamn nice build man 😦
amazing sleeper PC :)
I love your dedication and patience.
RGB on a sleeper build is an oxymoron I think. Blingy, flashly lights totally negates the sleeper portion of the build. lol
perfectly awesome build! looks great!
case is better than mine
Amazing build bro respect ✊
Ngl that case is pretty cool for a prebuilt. Id rock it!
Ive never seen a take on "DIY" done so well
oooooo!
A sleeper pc :)
Mad Matt did it again :P
For the card reader in the front panel you can stick a piece of black sponge or foam padding from the inside.
Or if you are looking for a working card reader, then you can pick up a usb card reader and use it with a modified front cover to fit your case.
I guess it's a tight spot to have a working card reader so put foam would make it look better.
Amazing work Matt! The only thing i would've done different is paint the siler inside of the case (like maybe black or even white
congrats to your first watercooled selfmade pc. Nice pc.
Nice build (and video)
I rock the real S30 for my main rig and it's awesome, it isn't extreme with it's E5-2689 8c/16t, 32GB 4 channel DDR3, RX580 8GB, but for my displays it's more than enough - the legendary DELL U2410F and the still awesome DELL P992 Trinitron CRT and for gaming nothing beats that tube.
awsome, great content
Excellent work
Very well-done!
I'd like to do a sleeper rig with RGB lighting but I'm on the fence about water-cooling. Always thought there'd be too much potential for leakage and thus a bricked system. If I took a beige box and modded it this way, I'd keep the floppy drive, though. Dr. Moddenstine did a sleeper rig made from an IBM Aptiva tower and he converted the floppy drive into an SD card reader, using the disks as caddies. I thought that was very cool. And I'd also replace the old optical drive with a Blu-ray drive. I have old PC games that came on CDs and DVDs and would like to install them in such a rig.
Very neat.
Damn man I really want this!
I have a Thinkstation S30. I didn't know the motherboard was ATX. That''s great, because I can just use this case if I want to when I upgrade.
Cool sleeper pc
just found your channel and subbed :)
I don't know why but i love the look of office computers
Your first water cooled pc is a sleeper pc and it's got the top of the line spec hardware and it's in a crappy 10$ case you've got some guts, being this your first time
Awesome pc!
Amazing video
Great video sir
Better days by lackey inspired is literally in every TH-cam video but very sick build
Yeeeee so this is the build from the Twitter post
Nice!
Tooooo epicccccc
amaze balls
This is great, I'm doing a similar build at the moment but with an old Packard Bell.
My only suggestion, is try to take your time more when doing the overview voice over, and talk more conversationally. Maybe break the video into parts and do it as a series next time. It's not a huge problem, it's just cramming all that monologue into the video makes it seem like you're in a hurry.
Hey there. I would love to have a video on your first tubing experience. I've got an AIO and I dream of doing watercooling. Take care and love from France.
I actually got my hands on a Pentium 4 based Xeon Server from IBM and I plan on using it for a similar build. I like the tall black cases and being a server case it is designed for ease of swapping out components which I also love. It technically works but I could not even get 32 bit CentOS Linux to install so it is just too old as is. So I will gut it and make it a custom build.
Very pretty
Love these type of builds, not really a fan of flashy cases with a rainbow coming out lol
Good for you mate it's very good but me I'm part of the 2014 windows 8 pavillion laptop 10 fps clan 👍
As an advice
Mod the back panel of this chassis and make the psu bay down not up with an air vent below it
For your next build, use air presure testing to see if your build has any leaks. bit-tech has a great video showing how its done. Nice build overall tho.
Gear Seekers channel does the best pc builds on YT,, hands down.
It looks pretty awesome to me, I couldn't do this.
It would be awesome if you find a way to add an identical handle for the other end of the case (would be reminiscent of some of Cooler master's 2010~ case line in that regard - gosh it makes me feel old remembering cases designs from such an era)
very epic
This is so dope. I wish you could to that in those dell t420 server cases, they are so big and you would have so much space to build in it. Greetings from france
I have seen one cheaper than $478.00
That’s a lot for just a case. It is a beautiful machine though.
sick
give the corsair hydro gpu block port a nice little nudge hahah water will go everywhere
Love the sleeper concept, question on your radiator set up though, does mounting fans on both sides really make a difference? Seems like it would to more harm than good.
It would be cool if you could get the dvd drive snd card readers to work
