How Alpine has tried to 'express ourselves aerodynamically' with 2022 F1 car

Alpine launched the new A522 in Paris with a notable absentee - the car itself. That’s because the real thing is being hastily assembled in Barcelona ahead of a filming day scheduled to take place on Tuesday - the day before the start of pre-season testing.
What Alpine did have was two show cars - one in its main livery with pink flashes that will be used for most of the year. But it also had a special pink BWT liveried car - what Alpine called a flipped version - that will be used for the first two races of the season.
Fortunately, Alpine did release a series of renders of the real 2022 design for us to look at, albeit one with some key details hidden and with all the usual caveats we have to attach to such images.

Great livery ruined by BWT needing so much real estate. Their text is already blue they could've easily used white or red to compliment both Alpine and BWT. Or leave the wings black with the Alpine text and keep the rest of the BWT. If I didn't know better I wouldn't even know this was an Alpine and the brand wouldn't even be advertised to me.

@The Race sorry this is Long but I suck at explaining and I am super passionate and fascinated with racing in every way. So idk if you’ll see this but if you do, and if you have time I have a question/analysis. I’m no expert, but to me it seems like the 2022 cars kinda fall into 3 category’s aerodynamic wise. For example you have the Aston which the design seems more downforce less drag reducted focused then say the McLaren which seems more slick or drag reduction based. I know they both won’t be completely one sided but more reliant on one preference then the other. And then you have the third category which teams like Ferrari and Mercedes which seem be a compromise or hybrid design. Where there not trying to be great at downforce or great straight line speed/drag reduction and good at the reverse of there design. (Aston will still have good straight line and McLaren downforce obviously.) Teams like Ferrari and Mercedes seem to try to be 8/10 and 8 or 9/10 at both. To put it sort of simply aston is trying to be 10/10 at downforce and 7/10 at drag reduction. Where as McLaren design is more 10/10 at drag reduction and 7/10 at downforce. Is this assumption somewhat in lamens terms somewhat accurate?

Current Alpine CEO think they were playing safe for to long, being very traditional team. He wants to change things and risk for the sake of better performance and not reliability, which makes sense because once engine freeze is in place, they will have plenty of time to work on reliability, because those changes will be allowed on the engine.

Not meeting the demand of Allan Post, who was a Formula 1 World Driving Champion during one of, if not the most competitive era of Formula 1 is a poor move that has resulted in the loss of his input to the Alpine team. Alpine's Formula 1 engine has lacked power and the loss of input from Allan Prost can only aggravate this matter. Alpine has been a good team and I would like to see them become more competitive, this decision puzzles me and leaves much to be desired.
