    Kudos to Aston Martin for being confident enough in their design to actually reveal a car and not just some renders of the show car with their livery.
    IMO, these car launches should be regulated so teams either have to show their real car or all have to release only renders of their liveries and concepts, that way it'd be a lot easier for us fans to manage our expectations, because granted, I know from previous years all teams hide something for the actual testing, but "releasing" the show car with a livery like Red Bull and probably the rest of the front-runners (Mercedes, Ferrari and McLaren) will do seems outrageous to me.

    When I saw the Haas I was extremely underwhelmed and thought 'maybe F1 has got this wrong'. However, after having seen the 'sugar free' Red Bull yesterday and then this beauty today, I'm very much intrigued.
    Probably the prettiest and most sleak looking f1 car I've seen in close to 20 years. I love everything about it. It looks aggressive, well designed and most of all it actually looks like a racecar. When you compare it side by side with last years car, it's night and day. These will be so much better to watch, at least from an aesthetic stand point.
    Only criticism, I just wish they were smaller, but beggars can't be choosers I suppose.

    • @tyler_bt3326
      @tyler_bt3326 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Maybe they can get smaller in time. Stronger materials and advancements in safety. Plus the planned improvements to the hybrid system from 2026 onwards means they could eventually downsize

    • @michael5091
      @michael5091 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@tyler_bt3326 hopefully, in all honesty I'd want to see them get rid of the hybrid system altogether, it's outmoded tech now. They'd be better place going back to naturally aspirated v8's with an increasing dependence on alternative/synthetic fuels.
      Could make them smaller and they'd sound soooo much better. Back to 20k rev screamers

    @7:44 "The 2nd phase is a building of about 100 square feet to house the new state of the art wind tunnel."
    I take it that "state of the art" is Tardis style technology where the inside of the building is significantly larger than the outside dimensions, as fitting a Formula 1 car inside a building measuring 10 feet by 10 feet would be challenging.

    It’s so fascinating that the side air intakes can be so much smaller just because of the change in how clean the airflow to them is now - it’s not just a Haas thing.
    Funny that they wanted them to look a bigger with the black carbon piece that disguises the square opening.
