Felix actually has a pretty sunny/bubbly personality! The "dark" personality is just for their mvs but the Fandom basically calls him sunshine bc of his character. He loves to cuddle with the members and baking cookies🥰

It's cool if that's the meaning, but lactose-intolerant ppl can't actually eat parmesan, blue cheese and cheddar... Those are all made with cow's milk, which has the highest amount of lactose. Goat cheese is a little better, but sheep is preferable for lactose-intolerant ppl. (Sorry, my mom is lactose intolerant, so I had to learn about this sort of stuff)

I'm sure someone will explain this more thoroughly later, but Red Lights by Bangchan and Hyunjin is a song about obsession and compulsion. In particular, about their extreme need for perfection in their work, as both Bangchan and Hyunjin are extraordinarily hard workers. The intensity of the video is supposed to show the love-hate relationship that comes with perfectionism. Plus, the MV is damn sexy lol. I'm pretty sure most of us were in shock after watching it 😅

That drive used driving as a metaphor for s*x but red lights uses s*x as a metaphor for ocd and inner demons. the thing people analyzed as him talking bout edging, was him explaining the musical cliffhanger when you expect him to say "..geol", but he doesn't. So it is meant to be MUSICALLY satisfying. And yeah, we're sure, because they explained it in detail during the 3rd "howl in harmony" episode. I know people often mean it as a joke, but calling Chan a "liar" (not saying you are one, just trying to clarify) while explaining the concept really has gone out of hand. He didn't lie. Of course everyone's entitled to their own interpretation of a song. But their intent was made very clear.

people were saying since the post-it’s are supposed to represent haters comments, Chan is actually seen boxing/fighting the notes and then Felix is seen stepping and pushing the shredded notes in that shot of him “standing” and looking down on haters and what they say.. if that makes sense or to clear it up 😅Also another thing the “headache” is a reference to Side Effects ! people made fun of that song a lot as well, but honestly it’s really good. 🤷♀️ Hope that helped give a bit more insight ! for the dudududududu, stray kids put a lot of onomatopeia in their lyrics and this includes "dudududududu" it can be interpreted in different ways but since the concept of the song is basically in the kitchen (god's menu) it would be like the sound of a knife against a chopping board when you cut/chop ingredients, and for stray kids it's probably them chopping the spices they put in their songs. i hope this helps clear up your confusion on the lyrics. :D
Cheese - there's also a lot of their songs that was referenced here like flying high (from miroh), dudududududu, and pigeons and magpies (from god's menu), cawing of a crow (from awkward silence), headache (from side effects). and its so cool that you pointed out how others' diss songs are usually strong and angry but with stray kids they turn it all around cause chan did say that it's one of the points of cheese, to turn the negative to positive and just have fun. if you're the one laughing in the end you are considered the winner. or cheese can be interpreted as "say cheese to the camera cause you're caught"
Surfin' - Our felix is actually known to be the sunshine and our haengbokie (happiness in korean), so it really comes as a shock and kind of confusing when the first time you encounter felix (in an m/v or performance) he has this strong aura but when he's away from the cameras and stage he's so soft and you just wanna protect him. Also yes, changbin did sing in surfn too! and it's lee know's voice that you like. If you want to explore a guide skzvintage's SKZFLIX: This is Stray Kids part 1 and 2 are good guides to start with since they showcase the basics of stray kids as a group and every member's talent and skills!~ (which will blow your mind, btw)
Gone Away - when they conceptualize this song, they wanted it to be a ballad so their vocals can stand out and somehow they talked about unrequited love and how the memories of you have with the person are important to you but then you realize its just you who count them memorable because the other person doesnt notice at all. it's really a heartbreaking song and i think they really expressed the emotion well in their lyrics.
Red Lights - in their series, howl in harmony, where each unit talked and conceptualized their songs and m/vs, hyunjin and chan was sitting in corner of a sauna room pool and giggled while talking about how to end stays. :D they really wanted to do a sexy concept but the lyrics and the concept run deeper than what you see on the surface. The direct translation of the korean title 강박 (kangbak) is compulsion and talks about their borderline obsession with their work. Like they shared how during breaks they feel the need to make tracks still to the point where they'll just walk around and realized their feet have brought them to the studio.
I'm not sure how they made the units, but i think they separated 3racha so that they have a chance to work with other members and other members have a chance to have more hand on the unit songs. Han was teamed up with vocalracha, changbin with two of the danceracha, and chan was teamed up with hyunjin since hyunjin is another member of stray kids that is still learning how to produce songs.
I really love how you really look into details when reacting! cause there's really a lot to unbox in all of stray kids songs, like you can take it as it is or you can dive a little deeper and both are beautiful in their own way. it just connects differently when you look into their lyrics and the story of the video.

The reason Felix fits so well with that concept is cause that’s what he’s actually like. He’s an extremely bubbly person which is where he get the same Sunshine from. Also Hyundai’s, Felix and Lee know are the dancers

fun fact! seungmin (the one who first started singing in gone away) actually made a solo ost song for a kdrama! his voice is absolutely breath taking and hes insanely talented. i recommend listening/ reacting to 'slump' the first take ands secret secret. i feel these rly showcase lee knows range in vocals, aswell as everyone else (especially chan is slump). 'slump' is a japanese eds made for an anime called 'tower of god'!

Yes, Hyunjin is a main dancer and he has been chosen as this month's AOTM for Studio Choom. He's also lead rapper and sub vocalist of the group. Have you heard his high notes in Red Lights? 🥰 But the most interesting part about him is that he had never practiced dancing before he has been street casted by a Jype employee when he was shopping. He had been training dancing only for a 1,5 year before debuting with Stray Kids as the MAIN dancer. At first he was so bad and inexperienced at dancing that others scolded him and laughted at him when he kept saying that he want to debut as a main dancer. They kept saying he will debut just because he is pretty so he was working twice as hard to prove them wrong and now he became one of the best dancers in the industry, his fancams have millions of views (8 mln views for Psycho fancam for example). He is known for his hard work, dancing became his greatest passion and he even choreographed two dance covers by himself. He is so young yet he menaged to create his own style of dancing already and lately he started to write and compose songs. This song he made with Chan is about perfectionism and compulsion of workaholism. Him and Chan are the biggest hardworkers and perfectionist in the group so they could've captured it perfectly. You need to watch Han sing in kingdom. They sing “I’ll be your man” kingdom. He sings sooooo good in there. Even the original singer of the song was surprised. And find him on masked singer! He’s soooooo good!
Hyunjin and Lee know are the two “main” dancers. In Stray Kids there aren’t really defined roles. All of them can dance, sing, rap, produce and write. Some do things better than others or more often.

Felix is naturally a nice, bubbly, kind person and the dark high impact person just for MVs and performances but naturally he isn't like that and all of stray kids baby him
You need to watch some of their crack videos to understand that they are all goofballs and have on and off camera personas. When I first started watching SKZ videos I was just vibing to the music but it’s when I started watching their crack videos that I fell in love with them. They are a close family, they take care of each other and love skinship. They are know for their lyrical writing, almost everything they write has a double meaning, and includes inside jokes that only stays understand.
I personally think Red Lights is about a a single person with a 'split personality '. If you go back and watch it, Bang Chan and Hyunjin dance moves mirror each other and when one is tied up, the other isn't or they are both fighting to get out at the same time. Plus if you watch the beginning and the end of the video, their is a person kneeled down in the middle while they are fighting on either side of him. At least that what I think and your reaction was pretty priceless!

Girl, i love your reactions! This was a roller coaster ride! WE VIBE WITH YOUR CONFUSION HAHA. Cheese is an intelligently-written song, it doesn't explicitly diss but you 'feel' dissed (if that makes sense). Surfin' is really refreshing and cute, the lyrics are very good advice for those who work hard. Gone Away felt like a whole drama series of hopeless love, and the vocals + acting tugged the heartsrings. Red Lights is a wisely-expressed song about internal conflict (OCD, fear of not being perfect or productive, the constant need to work hard) and the musical arrangement + choreo is brilliant. YES, WE AGREE WITH YOU ON ALL THESE.

The one in Surfin that you mentioned have good voice is Lee Know their main dancer (another flex of Stays) he really has a great singing voice. Also if you got surprised with Han's voice, wait until you hear Changbin sings.. Him & Han had guested on Mask Singer.. Changbin's voice-chef's kiss.
Hyunjin is also one of the main dancer they are part of Danceracha together w/ Felix & Lee Know.
Isn't it amazing how can they be so diverse & ingenious with all their music and the fact that they all participate into writing their own songs is amazing. Yet haters always tries to discredit all their talents & efforts and always call them noisy & such with a few songs they've heard.
I'm this old but I can't helped but be amazed by how talented these kids are. Not to mention they all have good dancing skills & great personality towards work & their fans.. Just I'm thankful to discover these talents early on ❤️

the fact that you pointed out that Hyunjin is an exceptional dancer just gives me so much joy. he was street cast and he built himself up from scratch. the man has worked hard to get to where he is. to get to know more and see his dancing skills i think you should watch his skz players. (it's a series where stray kids will release something for stays. we are crazy spoiled lol). Play With Fire and when the party is over are his solos. Hyunjin choreographed his solos and the others are with danceracha (the dance subunit comprising of Lee Know, Felix, and Hyunjin). i promise you won't regret it!
to see more of Lee Knows (the one with Changbin and Felix) vocal ability you should watch Laventer, Sorry I Like You, and Secret Secret. Lee Know is the Dance Leader of the group and takes a big role in their choreography. he really has a buttery voice and melts your heart in an instance.

There're these song camp episodes on stray kids yt channel. They show the process of making these 3 unit songs. From the beat, the lyrics, the ideas and the mv making. There are 5 episodes. 3 episodes for the 3 units coming up with ideas, melodies and lyrics. Next 2 episodes is each unit reaction to each other songs,their meeting with the director to tell how they want the mv to looks like and behind the scenes of mv making.
Hyunjin and Chan came up with the concept in a hot tub in the series they made about the songs and the units called Howl in harmony

Han Jisung (3racha) you may hear it both ways lol and I.N his actual name is Yang Jeong-in so stage is I.N , the other is Kim Seungmin ;). So the second voice and you were like who is... well that was Han lol. You'll notice each "unit" chose a motif we had fun (surfin'), Sad (gone away) and sexy (red lights). Each unit was given the track and they wrote the lyrics together. You can watch the episodes of "Song Camp" and watch the "brain storming" . Acting is excellent but in song camp Seungmin talked briefly about how he's been through unrequited love it was actually his idea to do a song about it cause SKZ hadnt done that before. Now this song it punches straight to the heart cause I think every person has been through it, Hans voice on top of the visual Fuuuuu*k. vocally Han and Chan are top to me. This song def a kick in the feels.
I'm sure others in the comments have told you by now, but the one whose voice you liked in Surfin' was Lee Know. You mentioned wanting to hear more examples of his singing, so I'm here (several months later) to tell you that on Stray Kids' newest album (Oddinary) they released two more unit songs, and one of them, "Waiting For Us," is a very vocal-heavy song, sung by Bang Chan, Lee Know, Seungmin, and I.N. So if you're interested in hearing more of Lee Know's (and others') vocals, that'd be a good one to check out :)

Felix known as "sunshine" in whole sector, he's a cutiepie, he loves baking, hugging and kissing his members, and he's an amazing person, he cares about us a lot, at first everyone recognise him because of his deep voice but when you know him you'll see the baby side of him. I really like Gone Away, the feelings are so intense, you can literally see in their eyes which is also amazing. Their vocals are another level, lyrics are achingly beautiful, it's just a masterpiece. And for Red Lights, yeah bangchan and hyunjin are like this sometimes so keep going i guess????? I can't defend them in this one we have literally zero explanation im still shocked that I saw my idol being tied in a bed with chairs BY MY ANOTHER IDOL, like hello ?????????? A successful fan life me thinks.

Hyunjin was told he would have no issue succeeding because of his good looks and took it really personally. He put himself through as much training as he could to master dancing and vocal techniques the other boys can't do, or can't do as well. He's part of the dance line (DanceRacha) but he's not THE dancer of the group.

to answer your question about Hyunjin, technically they don't have fixed positions anymore but yes, he loves to dance, he's part of Danceracha in SKZ and he studied contemporary dance and practical dance at SOPA (School of Performing Arts) and graduated 2yrs ago. He struggled a lot cause he felt like he had to practice harder to prove his talent since people always admired his looks and told him not to try that hard bc he was pretty, so he could get everywhere with his looks. He started working so hard to improve and started to fall in love with dancing little by little, that's what Red Lights is about, he and Chan are famous to be hardworking, they'd stay up until dawn in the studio producing music (chan) or in the practice room going through choreographies (hyunjin) to the point of doing it compulsively and without thinking. they feel guilty talking a day off and often find themselves in the studio or dance room without realizing it.
as for Felix, well, he's the actual sun personified for us STAY, the stage persona is a complete different identity of his, his stage presence, his facial expressions while performing give off a fierce and hard vibe of him, but in reality he's the cutest ball of sunshine that bakes brownies and cookies for his friends 😭😭 he gives whiplash to everybody ahfjdh ALSO THE FRECKLES! YES!!
every single member of skz is unique. they had this mini series on TH-cam called "howl in Harmony", the skz song camp, where they basically let us see the process of writing and producing these three songs, they talked about the concepts, talked with the mv director in a meeting explaining what they wanted in their mvs... it's very interesting if you want to see more about them behind the songs and how they think about this kind of stuff!
lee know is also so great, he's so good at dancing but since debut he improved so much his vocal stability and he's a great asset to the team. all of them are all rounders and we're so lucky to have them! and now you've seen how diverse they are and how they're able to convey completely different messages and vibes.

So usually it's only one member, but they like to hang out with one or two of the others so it's not like you'll have to try to keep track of all 8. Red lights-Bang Chan, Hyunjin of course our sexiest team, they wanted to make a sexy RnB type of song together because that was like their plan eversince they keep in mentioning it even before that they really wanna team up together to do this type of song.

To add to your amazement of han singing.. basically all of stray kids can rap and sing.. han is an ace as he, like you said, can sing like THAT and raps and writes the lyrics and produces and dances and just he's an all rounder... But also.. seungmin, the one in the beginning of gone away.. he's an amazing vocalist yet when given the chance his rap is almost at the same level as the rappers. This is proven when he rapped Runner's high and when Han wasn't feeling well and missed a few of their performances, seungmin took on his rap part in thunderous and did amazingly well

I know this is an older video of yours. But I feel the need to say a slightly strange compliment, you have such a beautiful voice. like genuinely, just your voice and your accent is so lovely, it feels very warm and welcoming.
they called out the haters in cheese because if you notice the lyrics are when stray kids have been made fun of a lot by saying they are "noisemakers" and all because of their heavy songs and they came with the album "noeasy" which can be pronounced as "noisy" and title track "thunderous" which basically is the loudest noise.
the "what's funny about a headache" is from their song "side effects" where the chorus goes "my head hurts" with heavy beat following and that was the start of the era they were labelled as noisy.
"you think i'm a clown" is bcoz many say skz is only popular cuz of their funny memes and all(half of the fandom came bcoz of their memes which are VERY famous including me) and that they have no talent at all
and yes, as you said, different cheeses means the amount of variety in skz discography that there's smthg for everyone. literally when you think they've run out of styles, they put a new style or create one for themselves.
