Super Bowl was actually made 3 years back and used to be called God's Menu before they made what we now know as God's Menu and replaced it so you're not far off when you say they sounded similar (that's why the cooking references were there)
Also they have done experimental songs (mixing genres) before but only in b-sides from their early comebacks, nothing in their title tracks until S-Class. Glad you liked the songs!
14:45 This!! I've always said this about Bang Chan he could easily have the highlights and best parts of the song considering he wrote/ produce most of it yet he lets his members shines. Despite him having the longest experience and pretty much control over their music. He is indeed really selfless. I guess this is why all the members respect and look up to him and how their group is as close as they are cause they don't outshine each other yes fans could have their bias and some have more fans than the others but to Stray Kids they utilize each members strengths so well that I don't see them having conflicts when it comes to their songs. They are very supportive of each other cause they see how their leader is a great example to them. Bang Chan is a true leader .
Also, if you want to see them proving they are that flex group, they recently did live performances of their Oddinary unit tracks, but switched places. Muddy water performed by Bang Chan, I.N, Seungmin and Lee Know and Waiting for us performed by Han, Changbin, Felix and Hyunjin. They all did amazing live in roles we don't usually see them in. Seungmin and I.N basically took the main raps and Hyunjin and Felix really showcased the best vocals we've ever heard from them.

They released 3 other MVs for 5 Star as well - DLC written by Changbin, FNF by Bang Chan and Felix (written about the Australian fires back in 2019/2020) and Youtiful written by Bang Chan for Stays and a purely vocal song🥺

I love selfless Chan but man I wish he gave himself more lines cuz I'm starving for his vocals, which are often overlooked because he prefers others to shine and I admire him so much for that. I personally always pay a lot of attention to the background of the song because I often notice him doing some ad-libs and just adding some small details to the songs.

Outside of 5⭐️, Seungmin, Hyunjin, and Han all released SKZ Record songs so I’d suggest checking those out as well! Han wrote Seungmin’s song and his own, I think Hyunjin wrote his? Or at least worked with one of the members of 3racha on the lyrics 🎉

super bowl is originally an all english song from 5 star, and the japanese version is in their new japanese ep
it was actually the og version of gods menu, and the gods menu we have now was actually a just backup ver until they swapped in it last minute

You missed Youtiful and trust me you need to hear that song. I don't know if you've ever listened or reacted to their SKZ replay songs but you need to. Especially Lee Know's Limbo, Felix's Deep End, Bang Chan's I hate to admit, Han's Happy and Changbin's streetlight, but also FAM, the entire group raps a little. I think you also missed their Japanese release The Sound, which is also so good, and I feel like during The Sound is where I.N really started to blossom.

Superbowl (korean version) had me giggling as an aussie cause the dialect of bangchan in the beginning sounded so ochre and the chorus everyone sounded so aussie cheering like a school chant and then they whisperered!!! I was like EXCUSE YOU WHAT STRAYKIDS?!?!?!?!?!
chan isn't really a rapper anymore since he's in vocal line, but he still raps in songs like 3racha, heyday, we go, zone (all 3racha unit songs), maze of memories, the tortoise and the hare (similar vibe to hyunjin's 'swerve swerve' in get lit), and a few others too
Nice to see you reacting to Stray Kids again. You should try listening to the original version of Super Bowl on their album 5 star. Unfortunately there isn’t an mv for that but it is all in English and fantastic. The whole album is actually fantastic and my personal favourite so far. Lol

since this album's release they've performed in lots of live shows- they headlined the festival lollapalooza, performed at kcon and started their dome tour, so most of the songs have been performed live (except dlc, fnf, collision and youtiful)
topline is definitely the most fun since stays go crazy over screaming 'we don't give a fu-' lmaoo (sometimes the members even join in even though they're most definitely banned from all swearing)
the item, superbowl and hall of fame choreos are all so addicting though (unfortunately no dance practices have been released yet)

Also Superbowl was actually the original God's Menu. The God's Menu we know now was God's Menu 2. They ended up going with #2 obviously and then renamed this one to Super Bowl.

DLC, collision. item, and hall of fame are also amazing (the last 2 don't have mvs but have been performed live recently and have amazing choreo)
they have a japanese ep coming in a few days which already looks amazing, and then another mini album rumoured to be in november
they actually did a lot switch up in their songs

Case143, the TT before this, was a mix of genres 😅 but yeah, they jampacked S Class WAY MORE to the point that every member seem to be their own song but remixed to have a cohesive sound

15:30 i feel like jyp's no swearing rule is good bc it keeps them from doing it gratuitously like a lot of other kpop groups, but i agree that its necessary in this song. i think the song is wayyy better live bc stays swear for them but it does suck that in a song like this, where they're bragging about being at the top, doing what they want, that killing line gets clouded by the reality that they are still a jyp artist, hindered by the control their bosses have on their creativity. the song needs a concert vibe like lollapalooza or a fancam where we can really hear stays and ignore that bang chan does have to stop himself bc of jyp. one day he won't tho and that'll be fun to see
