Hyunjin is Art. So good. If you’ve not seen it he has dance covers of Billie Elish “the party’s over” and Sam Tinnez “Play with Fire”. Very different styles of dance. To show his range in dance. He’s actually a rapper, part of the rap line. But also a vocalist. His main role in the beginning was visual. But he wanted to be recognized for his talent, not how he looks. He was originally not good at dancing and was scolded and cried a lot. (His words) But started working really hard to improve. Red lights is actually about his and Chan’s obsession with performance and perfection in. The original Korean title is compulsion or obsession if translated directly into English. Puts a different spin on the dance itself knowing that. Oh, and Hyunjin is also a wonderful painter and artist as well as a great photographer. He paints to unwind and his pictures are excellent. Hyunjin was picked up by JYP for his looks HOWEVER he worked VERY hard so that people could not say that he is only in the group/ only got by with his looks. I definitely sense a difference in before-hiatus and after-hiatus Hyunjin, and somehow he pushed that change into Stray Kids. They have suddently grown up. Hyunjin was truely a kid when they debuted, lacking confidence, and his artistic growth it's been amazing. And yes, he was casted on the street, couldn't really dance, or rap, but he was suposed to be "just the visual" and was told his pretty face was enough. That upset him a lot and worked so hard to prove he could be good. Now he's stunning. The tatoos are fake btw lol
Hyunjin was street casted so he really didn’t have any background of anything. He worked incredibly hard to gain all of the skill he has today and it’s incredible admirable. Hyunjin has always been determined to work hard because he was told that his looks would get him to debut. Which is bs because he had to be able to know the basics of singing,dancing, rapping and pass monthly evaluations to even just stay in the company.

It might seem that there's no way Hyunjin couldn't initially dance but with the amount of hard work he had been exerting over the years.. I say nothing is impossible anymore. He's so hard working because he doesn't want to be just known as someone with just a pretty face. From what I observed on him, when he's set to do something, he really give his all & eventually he will excel on it.. Really outstanding dedication. Also with the whole group, I love how they individually pursue to get better so they influence each other to keep on growing as well. Really passionate & on top of being highly talented. Hyunjin's latest hobby is painting. Last year he started making beaded bracelets, and he already has shown his talent in colors, but this year, he has started with drawing and painting, and you'll be amazed if you'll see his art work improvements. Once Hyunjin's into something, he really nails it like nobody else. So no wonder he's an amazing dancer now. Anyway, the next song I'll recommend is "Scars", their latest Japanese release, and "Hellevator" their pre-debut song. These two songs has similar vibes, very emotional inspiring songs.

You should definitely watch more about Hyunjin! He's a very hardworking and inspiring guy. Also very (very) dramatic and funny. Two things about him that completely shocked me when I was getting into Stray Kids were: 1) The fact that he had no prior talent/experience before starting his training to be an idol. He didn't know how to dance, sing, nor rap and learned everything from scratch. He talked about it in one of Stray Kids' Two Kids' Room videos. 2) Hyunjin and Han/Jisung used to be in bad terms and fight a lot. They definitely don't look like it, as they are very close friends now. He also talked about this in Two Kids' Room! I'm so glad you decided to check his performances out!

If you want to watch other dance videos by Hyunjin there's his dance covers of "when the party is over" and "play with fire", he choreographed those himself and are different from this style. He chose this exactly because he had never showed something like this before. Hyunjin is the main dancer, lead rapper and sub-vocalist. Well actually in skz there aren't main and lead positions anymore but still that's what he is. He raps more than singing however lately he has been singing more than before, he improved. He can also write and compose, his solo song is "Little Star", you can find the video on Stray Kids TH-cam channel. There he sings! So he was street casted for his beauty and he had never danced, rapped nor sang before. Other trainees told him he could debut even only using his looks and, not liking that, he worked really hard on his skills, especially in dancing. At first he was scolded a lot because he wasn't a good dancer, that even led him to hate dancing, however the more he danced the more he fell in love with it. Now he's a wonderful dancer and performer!

Hyunjin really went from 0 to further passing thru 100 in terms of dance. in his behind AOTM, his persistent training and developing mindset from hating to loving dance are just ❤️. Makes it very stupid for anyone to attack him for being merely handsome, which basically was his first motivation to shush his haters. And now he just loves dancing that his movement reaches even the tip of his fingers.

That's my comment! 😱 I was soooo shocked when I saw this! And so happy that you read it and decided to know him better 😭 Yes, he really had no prior skills, all he can now he'd learned when he became a trainee. He has that kind of mindset that when he focus on something he will work very hard to master it, he will be even sleep less to learn more and to practice more. He started to draw just a half year ago and he exceed in this field so much he'd drew more than 50 pictures in any kind of art style, from scetches, through acrylic, watercolor and even gauche. The same with his singing, raping, writing and composing songs - lately he started to write and compose songs just as 3racha and he already made few of them. He also creates his own choreography and his "Play with fire" cover he choreographed by himself is something you certainly NEED to watch! I swear you'll die even more than with the"Motley Crew". He also did a contemporary dance cover of "When the party's over" also choreographed by him - emotional and beautiful piece of art. And all of this being 21 years old. I'm scared what he can achieve in the future. He is not just a dancer or performer. He is an art himself.

He choreographed it himself and it was his first video he posted when he came back from hiatus. It’s just so impactful for me because I could feel his emotions through that performance. Especially since dancing his one of his passions and he wasn’t allowed to dance for a few months, which probably felt like a lifetime for him. Hyunjin's latest hobby is painting. Last year he started making beaded bracelets, and he already has shown his talent in colors, but this year, he has started with drawing and painting, and you'll be amazed if you'll see his art work improvements. Once Hyunjin's into something, he really nails it like nobody else. So no wonder he's an amazing dancer now. Anyway, the next song I'll recommend is "Scars", their latest Japanese release, and "Hellevator" their pre-debut song. These two songs has similar vibes, very emotional inspiring songs.

I think i stopped breathing for 2 minutes when i watched it for the first time 😂 i rewatched it countless times since then and every time i'm stunned by his beauty and his passion 😊 the fact that he choreographed it himself is Just insane and the theme fits him perfectly
You should definitely watch more about Hyunjin! He's a very hardworking and inspiring guy. Also very (very) dramatic and funny.
Two things about him that completely shocked me when I was getting into Stray Kids were:
1) The fact that he had no prior talent/experience before starting his training to be an idol. He didn't know how to dance, sing, nor rap and learned everything from scratch. He talked about it in one of Stray Kids' Two Kids' Room videos.
2) Hyunjin and Han/Jisung used to be in bad terms and fight a lot. They definitely don't look like it, as they are very close friends now. He also talked about this in Two Kids' Room!

If you want to watch other dance videos by Hyunjin there's his dance covers of "when the party is over" and "play with fire", he choreographed those himself and are different from this style. He chose this exactly because he had never showed something like this before.
Hyunjin is the main dancer, lead rapper and sub-vocalist. Well actually in skz there aren't main and lead positions anymore but still that's what he is.
He raps more than singing however lately he has been singing more than before, he improved. He can also write and compose, his solo song is "Little Star", you can find the video on Stray Kids TH-cam channel. There he sings!
So he was street casted for his beauty and he had never danced, rapped nor sang before. Other trainees told him he could debut even only using his looks and, not liking that, he worked really hard on his skills, especially in dancing. At first he was scolded a lot because he wasn't a good dancer, that even led him to hate dancing, however the more he danced the more he fell in love with it. Now he's a wonderful dancer and performer!

Hyunjin really went from 0 to further passing thru 100 in terms of dance. in his behind AOTM, his persistent training and developing mindset from hating to loving dance are just ❤️. Makes it very stupid for anyone to attack him for being merely handsome, which basically was his first motivation to shush his haters. And now he just loves dancing that his movement reaches even the tip of his fingers.

That's my comment! 😱 I was soooo shocked when I saw this! And so happy that you read it and decided to know him better 😭 Yes, he really had no prior skills, all he can now he'd learned when he became a trainee. He has that kind of mindset that when he focus on something he will work very hard to master it, he will be even sleep less to learn more and to practice more. He started to draw just a half year ago and he exceed in this field so much he'd drew more than 50 pictures in any kind of art style, from scetches, through acrylic, watercolor and even gauche. The same with his singing, raping, writing and composing songs - lately he started to write and compose songs just as 3racha and he already made few of them. He also creates his own choreography and his "Play with fire" cover he choreographed by himself is something you certainly NEED to watch! I swear you'll die even more than with the"Motley Crew". He also did a contemporary dance cover of "When the party's over" also choreographed by him - emotional and beautiful piece of art. And all of this being 21 years old. I'm scared what he can achieve in the future. He is not just a dancer or performer. He is an art himself.

You should definitely check out his cover for Playing With Fire. It’s my favorite dance cover that he’s done for so many reasons. He choreographed it himself and it was his first video he posted when he came back from hiatus. It’s just so impactful for me because I could feel his emotions through that performance. Especially since dancing his one of his passions and he wasn’t allowed to dance for a few months, which probably felt like a lifetime for him. Me talking about it doesn’t even do it any sort of justice. I’d love to see your reaction to it. I’ve loved all your reactions to Stray Kids and even other groups you’ve done ❤️
