The power cord becomes so hot after cooking that the power panel even turns off by itself. We have to stop and wait for the power cord to cool down then try it again, Is this normal?

I think it is normal because of the amount of electricity that is needed to power it. But it might also be because of the outlet might not be grounded?

I think it’s poorly constructed and unfortunately normal for it to be a fire hazard, or make the circuit breaker trip (turn off) so that it doesn’t overheat

The one thing missing on this video is how to clean it. The biggest concern I have with these type of cookware is how hard it is to clean up and degrease the oil/fat and such.

If I’m being honest, it’s a bit hard to clean it. But what I’ve been doing is letting it cool down then pour out the liquid, and use a towel or paper to wipe it down.

Heat up the middle with straight water and use that to clean the grill with a towel. Works like a charm!
