      Used it & I noticed a small growth, nothing like the ones with prostaglandin analog. Heard Reviv is good (lots of peptides n no prostaglandin). Great price and generous amount. I think I already see a few lashes suddenly grew longer in just 5 days no joke! So I’m excited to see results by the end of 8 weeks!

    There are a couple of ophthamology channels that have recommended lash serums that don't contain prostaglandins like Dr. Rupa Wong and Vibe Optometry. Dr. Jenny Liu has recent one on lash serum products as well. Twenty/Twenty is a lash serum that was developed by an ophthalmologist. Reviv Lash Serum and Dr. Sister Skincare (UK) also don't have prostaglandins. For castor oil, Grande Lash has their thickening mascara.

    I keep a travel size baby shampoo in my shower and use that to really deep clean my lashes. It removes everything, doesn't cause irritation and seems gentle. Many many people who work with young children will tell you this practice is what helps get rid of and keep them from getting pink eye from their little friends who bring it to school, daycare, preschool etc. I do agree that an oil cleanser really has helped my lashes get longer and fuller.

    Castor oil seems to be really pushed lately in the beauty world much like coconut oil was years ago. I tried castor oil on my scalp back in 2016 to try and help with hair growth since I was going thru female pattern baldness issues and it caused severe dandruff. When I went to the Derm they told me that it was a fungal infection caused from the castor oil. Apparently castor oil feeds the natural yeast on your skin and can cause an overgrowth. So please everyone be careful with castor oil.

    Aww gee, I have given each of my remaining eyelashes their own name. I don't think mine are dropping out as fast the doctor is saying. I use Rogaine foam on my eyebrows, and it has helped them come back a little, and although I don't put Rogaine near my eyes, I think it must have reached my lashes by osmosis, because my lashed have thickened back up a little, too. Not a lot, just enough that I don't cry when I look in the mirror.

    Brazilian here. We use a lot of natural products, plant based. Also, castor oil to help to grow more hair. I don't know about studies in Brazil, by our scientists. It can be more common in USA than years before, but not in Brazil. We were always attached to old knowledge.
    And yes, it helps to grow hair wherever on the body you wanted. In case of lashes, what some brands have and some eyebrows/lashes profissionals have, is a sérum that contains castor oil, along with others, to help the growth. In my case, I'm about to buy one to tick my eyebrows, but I always forgot! 😅 It's usually 1 month using, and you stop because many people are satisfied after 1 month.
    We also have a thing called "the bomb shampoo", that takes a little of castor oil with another ingredient (it's a A vitamin, liquid, super concentrated). It has the right proportion to be put on the shampoo bottle. And my hair grew 4 or 5cm in 1 and half month with this.

      Jackie!!! I've been worried about you and praying you were ok. I think you live in the Midwest and I know that whole area was getting hit with tornadoes and terrible storms. I hope your area was spared any damage. I'm glad you're back and of course I'd love to share tea with you, my dear sweet friend. It's a chilly evening and we just had a shower of rain. We had spurts of torrential rain all day yesterday and some flooding. My kitties are patiently waiting on the electric blanket for cuddles and I know yours ready for theirs. Let's relax together and enjoy our tea. And a naughty treat too! I hope you have a wonderful evening. Peace, joy and many blessings to you always. 💗🙏💗🕊💗☕🐈☕🐈💗☔🌸💐🍃🍧

    Dr Dray, I used Latisse with great success but then got bronchial pneumonia and didn’t use it for about three weeks. I felt like my lashes thinned again while I was sick. I started using the treatment again a couple months ago but don’t feel like I’m getting the same results. My question is this, is Latisse one of those meds that does not work well if you stop using it and go back to it later?

    Thank you for this informative video.
    Regarding a potential side effect of Latisse- have there been any actual documented cases of Latisse turning
    Light eyes dark? My understanding is that the active ingredient in Latisse is used in eye drops for glaucoma patients. It happened in a handful of patients who actually administered the drops into their eyes for glaucoma.

    • @ktj8074
      @ktj8074 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If I remember correctly, lattisse started off as a glaucoma med (the ingredients) and a side effect of it was increased lash length. So they tweaked it and made it a lash serum. Like how they did with accurate and chemo medication

    Hi Dr. Dray one thing I found about using castor oil for lashes is that it can be VERY irritating if it gets inside your eye. So…you need to be careful applying on eye lashes. Thanks for doing this video.

    I developed a very stubborn stye that wasn't reduced by compresses. Eventually my ophthalmologist lanced it. I think dry eye mitigated it and I found krill oil tablets from the drug store reduced my dry eyes quickly. I think crayon-type eyeliner pencils started the stye. Also, powder eyeshadow seemed to exacerbate the pain of the style.
