After using this product for less than two weeks, my lashes got objectively longer. I noticed it because of the mascara imprints under my brows (never had that issue before, using the same mascara). Brow hairs started growing in my old “bold” spots. I do believe the process of growing slows down when you stop using the product though. Otherwise, solid product. Caffeine rules 😊

I ended up only doing the experiment for 1.5 months because my eyebrows were mismatched. The RapidBrow side grew thick while the Ordinary side was thin. I immediately started using the RapidBrow on my other brow to get it to catch up. It looked funny having one thick brow lol.

I had been trying the litttleextra reaactivate serum for hair growth for a few days now, and it's natural. The premium combination of 2% rosemary and redensyl at 3% is extremely pure and organic. Not a fan of serums, but this serum is a game changer for me and my very sensitive scalp. The fenugreek and curry leaves in this serum have significantly cut down on my hair fall. I have noticed more hair growth on my forehead where I applied it the most.

And several eye channels like Dr. Rupa Wong (ophthalmologist) and Vibe Optometry have serum recommendations without prostaglandins.
This stuff made my brows thicker and lower lashing line longer after one tube, and my top lash line longer during the second tube. But i think one needs to use many tubes to be able to catch the hairs during their growth phase
About 2 years ago, 90% of my lashes on my right eye fell out. Not sure why they fell out. I was sooo self conscious about it. People said they never noticed until I pointed it out but my right eye was bald! I started using The Ordinary’s Lash and Brow Serum and within a month I started seeing growth. Two years later, my lashes are still longer and thicker than before they fell out. The serum never burned my eyes, was really inexpensive compared to other brands and actually worked for me. I still apply the serum to my lashes a couple of times per week.
Very helpful! I'm in my late 60s and my brows have thinned but I was wary of the risks of other products, so I decided to try this serum. have been using this product about 6 weeks and don't notice any changes. But now I have a more realistic understanding of what it might, and might not, be able to do. Thank you!😅
Thanks Dr. Dray. I have been using the Twenty Twenty Beauty caster oil serum for lash/brows. The most remarkable thing I've noticed from it is that my eyes are so less itchy than they used to be. I don't know if it's contributing to the growth so much as keeping my lashes conditioned so they don't break as easily. Keep up the good work!
Anecdotal review is that it does help my lashes to look fuller. I have experienced some irritation from it though and have stopped using it for periods of time (3 months). When I stop using it I notice lash drop almost immediately
About 15 years ago i used a lash growth serum. My lashes looked amazing! A few months later I noticed my blue eyes were changing color. The change happened very quickly once started. I immediately stopped using it but now my eyes are more greenish with some brown flecks. Really frustrating! I’ve obviously gotten use to them but definitely wish I would’ve did more research prior to using. At the time had no idea that could happen. I do use Nubrow (which is the best imo) on my brows and haven’t had any issues there.
After using Revitalash my lashes were sparse and brittle after a year of use. At first they looked great then they took a turn. I was desperate for my lashes to return to normal. I was shopping at ulta and saw the ordinary lash serum. I was thrilled that they were free of the no no ingredient. I gave it a try and after just two weeks my lashes were back to normal after a month they had more length than normal. A year later I still love it!

Thank you for the information. Any thoughts on why some people are affected by the orbital fat loss from other lash serums with the “bad” ingredient and others are not ?
I stopped using Grande Lash after cataract surgery because it started burning my eyes. Switched to this peptide serum and haven't noticed any thinning of the lashes, and it doesn't burn. Lashes are definitely not as brittle, so it's likely the serum is just conditioning them, but they look fuller, and I don't see as much lash loss as I did before using this.

I tried this daily for 6 weeks and it wasn't it. I was on Scorolash before, which I absolutely love, but wanted to try something cheaper. I still had long lashes. It made my lashes fall out like crazy, but they regrew fast. Dr. Dray, I purchased La Roche-Posay’s new Mela B3 serum. I am a big fan of all their products and have repurchased many of them. What do you think of this new product? Personally, I bought it based off of the marketing (it looked so intriguing at Ulta’s spring haul event). Anyway, I would love to hear your review of this product. I discovered this brand through your TH-cam channel.
I tried it for a while. I think it helped a little bit, put probably not as much as the hormonal stuff. I quit using it because I wasn’t sure how I felt about the growth factor peptides. BUT rather those peptides (that probably don’t do anything) than prostaglandins.
I had amazing results on my lashes within a week. Unfortunately after about 2 weeks I had to stop using it due to developing dry eyes and irritation around the lash line.
I have full enough lashes without serums but I’ve used this on my sparse eyebrows for a while. I’ve noticed some growth but nothing dramatic. I also feel peptide serums on the face makes the peach fuzz come in stronger but maybe that’s something else
@@FlynaijaGuy I’ve since realized that my peptide serum for the face + my caffeine eye cream works just as well on my brows, it doesn’t have to be a dedicated brow serum for me. The brows are coming in slowly but steadily.
I've been using lash and brow growth serum with prostaglandins for a long time and with good effect. I've thought about trying the new peptide stuff (although I don't seem have any of the dreaded side effects), but I really, really don't want to risk losing my gains again. Especially with my brows, the effect build up over many months.
Love love love your videos! Keep them coming alwaysss... can you also make a video on perfection syndrome for having the perfect skincare routine and hyper consumerism
I have a question, does it help the strands of hair that are already present in your brow grow longer and also can using a derma roller in conjunction with the serum for you brows help?
On my second tube of this and it definitely helps my blond and super skimpy lashes at 47 but yes, I can't go 2 nights without it or results don't work. Like Rivitalash which I would use from Costco but way less itchy than Rivitalash
I go have sparse brows but I worry about putting products like these so near my eyes. I'll deal with them as I always have, by doing nothing. Lol! Thinning brows jus don't bother me that much. Appreciate the information, Dr Dray. We can always count on you for the truth. Happy Wednesday! I hope you have a lovely evening. 💚
for anyone else that's using it, when I use the applicator that comes out it always feels kind of dry almost as if my bottle is empty. is the stuff that comes out very light?
I had used this product for a couple months till i had to discontinue it. So I started to get a really annoying eye twitch. Couldn't work out what it was straight away until I started Googling it. I'm not the only one with this issue, it is apparently a side effect if the serum. Now I've stopped using it my eye twitches no more.
I’m guessing some of these OTC products help with *brow* growth but I wonder if it could also be the stimulation of the brow area itself? I was using The Ordinary’s lash/brow serum on my brows only but I’d gently massage it in. Did the same with Black Castor Oil because it was awkward to apply it with the spoolie. Had success both times.
Got this because I felt as though my lashes in one of my eyes was breaking off since I sleep on that side. And now my eyebrows 🙄 I hope it helps with the strengthening
I have been using the ordinary serum for a year. I decided to upgrade to grande lash serum. I used it the night before. I wome up in the middle of the night with my eyes burning. I washed it off at 3am. I woke up with red, irritated eyes. Last night, I was washing my face and noticed 2 dark spots under my bottom lashes. I'm terrified to that lash serum. Can I use it on my brows instead of my lashes? I've used the dermalect serum, and it never made my eyes hurt. T.I.A.
latisse really is the only lash serum that works INSANELY. i've tried everything. people stop me on the street and are like "hoow in the world are your eyelashes that long?" i cant even wear sunglasses anymore
@@Username0467 it's a drug, certainly! there are side effects but not to the point of being so bad it's unusable, and the result is unreal. i can't even describe it. people think i photoshop my pics.

@@FlynaijaGuy 100% and cheaper than minoxidil. try this first! I noticed results with before finishing the first tube. I'm now on my third after a little break (the brows have still held up though!). Also they have a Black Friday sale in November (suggest getting the double pack then when it's on sale).

Hi Dr Dray! Hope you’re having a great day. I’m having a flare of atopic dermatitis, so am back to Vanicream products only for a bit.
I tried this daily for 6 weeks and it wasn't it. I was on Scorolash before, which I absolutely love, but wanted to try something cheaper. I still had long lashes.
It made my lashes fall out like crazy, but they regrew fast. I thought that maybe I needed to let the lashes start a new cycle, but after 6 weeks the fallout did not stop and what grew back only made it to my normal length before falling out again.
I wanted to love this, I really did, but I tossed this in the trash.
I noticed that my eyebrows became more thicker and fuller after a year of using retinol.
Same with tret☺️
How do you use the retinol on your eyebrows and which retinol?
@@priyaramchandani700 I use it all over my face including the eyebrows
I use the L’Oréal retinol serum
Happy Wednesday Dr Dray…see you tomorrow x💙🤩
Is there one that doesn’t bother your eye?
I used this product until a full bottle was empty. I saw more straggler hairs on my brows, but nothing that made much of a difference.
Happy Wednesday! Another good video to share with my best friend. She was so grateful to receive a link to the last video on lashes. Thank you!
Greetings Theresa Berg hope u r well n Happy Wednesday😀👍💜….
Thanks for sharing!!
@@whitneybrown4067 Happy Wednesday to you too! Finally some warm weather here in RI. Looking foward to taking a long walk 😊 I hope you enjoy your day too ❤
I feel like this is working on my brows. I see lots of little hairs growing inside the brow line in areas that i never tweeze.
I think it works. My lashes are longer for sure since I started using it.
How’s it doing for your sparse eyebrows? I’m a man with sparse eyebrows
@@FlynaijaGuy I’ve since realized that my peptide serum for the face + my caffeine eye cream works just as well on my brows, it doesn’t have to be a dedicated brow serum for me. The brows are coming in slowly but steadily.
I’d love to have my eyebrows back…..they all fell out during the menopause transition😢
I've been using lash and brow growth serum with prostaglandins for a long time and with good effect. I've thought about trying the new peptide stuff (although I don't seem have any of the dreaded side effects), but I really, really don't want to risk losing my gains again. Especially with my brows, the effect build up over many months.
Would you recommend lash serums or conditioners? Or do you have any lash conditioners to recommend?
You are a great teacher. Thank you.
❤SCOROLASH is a great product. I think it uses peptides and natural plants ...I think it works😊
What is the brand that is safe?
What happens when you accidentally put in into your eye?
Hello Andrea! On the lighter side it looks like you've got feathers growing out of the puppies head in the background! Thank you for this education
Been using this serum for 8 months. I use it in the morning and evening. Didn't work at all. My lashes still look the same
Hello Dr Dray! Please tell ur thoughts on the ordinary copper pepdtide serum❤
I watch doctor eye health & he doesn’t even recommend castor oil for lash growth so idk, I’d rather not affect my eye health for longer lashes lol
Why is it that it works for some but not everyone?
Genetics
have a great Wednesday guys xo
You too
Happy Wednesday Tony! Hope You're Having a Fabulous Day!!🖐😊🌻
Happy Wednesday, Dr Dray❤ I hope you have an amazing day!
Ive always wondered why cant you use eyelash serum for your brows..thats what ive been doing to save…whats your take on that
for anyone else that's using it, when I use the applicator that comes out it always feels kind of dry almost as if my bottle is empty. is the stuff that comes out very light?
Happy Wednesday, Dr. Dray ❤ happy birthday to me 😊🎂🥳🎉
Happy birthday 🎉
Greetings Maricel Gundayao hope u r well n HBD n enjoy😀👍💜💐🎉🎁🎈!!!….
Happy Wednesday 🌸 🌹
Happy Wednesday to You Too!!😊
What about Vegamour? That’s a product I see on a lot of contractors suggestions. They have lash growth and hair growth serum
Been using this serum for 4 mos. IT DID lengthen my lashes but i noticed it only grew my lashes to a point..
Thank you for this review. I'd love to use this but it runs into my eyes all the time. Maybe I don't know how to apply it
I had used this product for a couple months till i had to discontinue it. So I started to get a really annoying eye twitch. Couldn't work out what it was straight away until I started Googling it. I'm not the only one with this issue, it is apparently a side effect if the serum. Now I've stopped using it my eye twitches no more.
What do you think of Vaseline for the eyelashes because I’ve seen people do that?
I had ordinary buffet and niacinamide serum. My pimple never stopped emerging on chin and cheek until i stopped the product 😢
This does grow but I dislike the applicator so I stopped it 😂 but it grew much faster than I expected
Got this because I felt as though my lashes in one of my eyes was breaking off since I sleep on that side. And now my eyebrows 🙄 I hope it helps with the strengthening
Great video! Thanks and happy Wednesday!
So it sounds like this is no different really from just using castor oil for conditioning
Love your content as always Dr. Dray
So does it work or not
I have been using this with good results, i have spent a fortune on others and they always irritated my eyes.
I'll pass. Im thinking of getting the magnetic lashes. I wear contacts and don't want to damage my eyes.
Just return it. Most places that sell or take open returns.
latisse really is the only lash serum that works INSANELY. i've tried everything. people stop me on the street and are like "hoow in the world are your eyelashes that long?" i cant even wear sunglasses anymore
That’s one of the lash serums with all the side effects. It’s more a medication than a cosmetic.
@@Username0467 it's a drug, certainly! there are side effects but not to the point of being so bad it's unusable, and the result is unreal. i can't even describe it. people think i photoshop my pics.
I'm curious if the prostaglandin analogs CAN cause unwanted side effects or DO cause them. I have used Latisse for probably 2-3 years now with seemingly no side effects. Have you noticed anything adverse using it? I hate the idea of switching to an inferior product.
Some people can use Latisse or other serums with prostaglandins with no problem (one of the channels I follow can) but a lot of people can't.
@@AZJen480 only side effect i get is darkness under the eyes and ive been using at least a bottle a year since 2016
