  • 👋 Hey skincare nerds! 👋
This week I’m here to help you figure out which of the drugstore favorite CeraVe cleansers is best for you. We’ll be comparing CeraVe’s foaming facial cleanser, renewing SA cleanser, hydrating cleanser and their new hydrating cream-to-foam cleanser. They’re all under $20!
    〰️
I’ll also help you figure out what skin type you have, but feel free to just skip to the cleansers part!
EDIT: I agree sensitive skin can be classified as a skin condition and not a skin type but to keep it simple I am including it as a skin type because that is how the brand classifies it. www.cerave.com/skin-smarts/sk...
    〰️
Also, please share your experiences with the CeraVe cleansers in the comments section because it might help someone else! 🧼🧴

Wash your face with your regular cleanser. And then, after 2hrs, try to stick tissue in your forehead, cheeks, chin, and nose. If it stick, that means you have Oily skin. If none stick, you have Dry skin. Lastly, if some sticks, and some not, you definitely have combination skin.

In the past, my face looked dull. However, I managed to achieve radiant skin, free from pimples and dark spots, by adopting these practices. -:
    1. Drinking water at least 3 to 4 liters per day.
    2. Adding carrots or carrot juice into my daily diet.
    3. Adding Littlextra Ricebery face wash into my daily skincare routine. It contains black rice water, which has been shown to provide 10 times more skin benefits than ordinary white rice water.
    4. Joining the gym and sweating a lot.
    5. Performing facial steam or full-body steaming sessions every 18 days.

I have tried numerous facewashes, but none worked as good as littlextra rice berry face wash. It's made with black rice and white mulberry, which brightens and gives immediate glow to my skin. It's gentle, has a pleasant smell, and natural. It cleans my face really and makes it smooth and bright. Plus, it helped reduce my acne too.

I used to have clear skin. However, lately, I began developing acne breakouts. I didn't know that my harsh face wash I used was in fact drying up my skin. Once I replaced it to this mild cleanser and added a moisturising cream with it, every single one of my breakouts stopped. Thanks Litttleextra rice berry.

I love that you also call it “balanced” instead of “normal”. It’s always bothered me that we call a kinda unusual skin type “normal” when it’s more common not to have it

      @sydneyfessenden6119 3 ปีที่แล้ว +18

Sassy Queen normal means how something is naturally and implies how it "should be", which isn't true in this case and therefore the original comment is right. Also, normal definitely implies average? They are very similar words in this case

Thanks for the video. I've been using the wrong one for years! The foaming one is simply too drying for me even though I do have combination skin with some oily areas, it was way too drying on other areas of my face. I've since switched to the normal hydrating one and had to throw away the foaming one.

Me too! But now I use the cream-to-foam but it kinda doesn’t take off all the oil and I’m debating between using the foaming the morning! Although I had to stop using it bc it stripped my cheeks(which are dry) and it gave me a broken skin barrier and it took 2 weeks to fix so idk!

I was curious how the heck from your FIRST video do you already have a polished camera presence, passionate enthusiasm, and a wealth of knowledge that you are able to deliver to those not familiar with skincare?!? Do you work in the industry or I’m guessing you’ve had a long journey of discovery in skincare? I understand if you want to keep things personal, but I am just highly impressed at all your work!
I wish you all the best, and am glad to be one of the lucky people to have subscribed at this point because I know you will grow exponentially in no time. 😄

I use the Foaming gel cleanser and it’s very gentle yet effective. If I feel like my face needs and extra scrubbing effect yet gentle I use a lathered paper towel and use it to cleanse my face. You can really see what was on your face in the paper towel. I
Afterwards it makes ur face very smooth and clean. Then I usually apply oil moisturize and prevent face from over drying. I thought this would help for my fellow oily face type.

I also have ccs and strawberry skin… and based from what I understood, cerave SA cleanser is the best for those skin problems. However, the hydrating foam to Cleanser also gave salicylic acid, I’m wondering if it’s also good for to use it instead of the SA cleanser? Can you also recommend a toner and moisturizer for me? I’d really appreciate if you can.
