    I literally just stumbled across your Channel randomly out of nowhere last night. I am getting back into PC gaming and about to build a new rig in an NV7. Your video is the only one I've seen online that goes into such detail and is so wonderfully helpful. Especially the Rat's Nest of wiring. I really really appreciate your video so much and it's going to help me tremendously in my build. Thank you so much. Keep up the awesome work. You have a new subscriber for life.

    The controller is able to control all of the fans, motherboard and AIO on one channel. I was having the same issue and didn't like syncing the lights on two modes. I took the plugs out of channel 2, and plugged them into the female connectors of what I had in channel 1. Phanteks said this would work, I tested it. Works fine so far!!! I don't have anything plugged into channel 2

      So you have everything on A1 and A2? I currently building. And I got the glacierone T30v2, ledstrip and the 12 rgb fans. Will all go to one channel? I see you can have max 4Ampere per connector but only 7Ampere in total per channel. I guess that should work fine.

    Your in depth builds are so much appreciated and by far the most thorough! I have an interest in one of these Phantek NV cases and this is exactly what I was looking for. I would probably bypass the controller and bring in my own so that I can better control the RGB (SignalRGB) but as mentioned this case is definitely something I am interested in.

      Quick weird question im gonna throw at you guys real quick. Im using the nv9 and the 4090 suprim. Since that comes with an aio i was gonna put the radiator on the side. Sadly tbe radiator is only 240mm and i want to do push pull with it. That alone will leave space on the side for more fans. Should i add two 120 fans to it or can i leave it open there? Will the two fans not on the radiator limit air exhausting out of the fans on the radiator?

    A note to be made when using this AIO if you choose not to set fans on both sides that few inches/mm of displacement from the frame may affect how easily your pump sits on the cpu. when I mounted it and lined the pump up with the cpu it did attach but the RGB covers couldn't sit because the angle of the hoses was too steep to fasten it back on. I ended up flipping the raditation and fans 180 degrees to get it to work where I could place the cover back on.

    Great video, I actually found your build on PC Part Picker and fell in love w/ the case. I'm currently ordering parts for a new build myself. I'm debating putting the Phanteks D30 fans in addition to the stock AIO fans (push/pull like you did) or just using the stock AIO fans. Is the AIO cooling performance much different w/ the 6 verse just the 3 that come with it? I'll be running the same AIO as you did, but a Ryzen 7800X3D and 3080 instead.

  • @ub1qu1ty
    @ub1qu1ty 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Enjoyed everything about this video, apart from one key part. You are running different fans for a push-pull configuration on the AIO. Unless they are matched in terms of their speeds / pressure, they are unlikely to offer optimal performance and may create some 'interesting' effects in terms of sound coming from this setup...

    Super helpful video! I'm doing a full overhaul after 3 years and im having to deal with RGB cabling managment again which is a pain. I have 9 of the Phanteks SK120 DRGB PWM fans, but I'm planning on using 3 Corsair RGB fans I have in my old build. Do I need an addition hub for the 9 fans or will they all link to the built in one? They're chained together right now. My power supply is over a week out due to backorder so I can't even turn the system on to check if they’ll work.

    Can I controll the speed of the D30 fans with a corsair commander pro or another commander since I just can not give up fan profiles etc.? I just hate bios fan curvs. They are both PWM 12V so it shoul work hardware wise, but i do not know if corsair has chips in their fans or something like that. Also, is it possible to controll the RGB by using a RGB controller from corsair? The main question is that can I use the fans in a commander pro to get the software that I want to use?

    I assume this controller isn't 'smart'? It can't be controlled by software? I wonder if I could get lian Li fans instead and plug them all into the ARGB ports instead and do it all from software?

    I’m looking into getting this case with a MSI MEG Z790 ACE E-ATX motherboard. Looking at Phanteks website and MSI for the dimensions. As well as looking at PCpartpicker. It looks like it will fit, but the part I’m questioning is the 90degree ports on the motherboard. The motherboard cover I know flips around but those 90degree ports is what’s really hesitant on purchasing. Would love to hear your answer on this question of mine.

    i recomend usin 3 14cm fans (instead of 12cm) in the bottom, as they close (seal) false air retuning from the case around the fans, because the air want the least resistance path, instead of pulling air trough the bottom fan filter. I bought the case but have not finish the build.

      Phanteks sent them with the case. This was the only place I could see them to link to, but didn't realise it was a third party

      @@ChristopherFlannigan it’s ok! I wasn’t upset just thought I’d ask to see if it was reliable seeing as you have working ones 😂 Computer Orbit has them in stock for only $18 international shipping so hopefully that works out for me!

    Does it matter whether the USB 3.0 and 3.1 headers go through the middle or bottom cutout? The manual shows the bottom cutout. I followed yours and went through the middle.

    Wonderful video, I’ve ordered the same case. I had a question as I want to do the same exact set up on the fans. How many are reverse and where should the placements be? I believe the 4 fans are reverse, the 2 rear by MOBO is regular but can’t tell what position the fans on the bottom are if normal or reverse D30’s. Thanks in advance!

    Only thing I would change would be to put the two back fans at the lowest position, and add one of the backplates that comes with the case on top of the fans.

      Adaptor will work well but maybe not look the best, or you could get a custom cable for a better look. Take a look at cablemod

    Hello everyone. Just bought the same exact case and PSU as well as Cablemod kit from the video description that came with 12vhpwr cable that splits into 3 8-pins and I got no clue how to connect it into my PSU since there are 2x 10 pins and 4x 12 pins slots in it... I'm totally clueless and spend past 5 hours looking for a solution. The GPU I bought is 4080. I'd really appreciate your help.

    Kinda confused. I have 2 regular fans packs. I assume the regular fans but haven’t got the reverse fans. Your reversed fans are on the bottom? Your regular ones are rear and side, correct?

  • @luizcastro9119

    31:28 I think you meant Rear Fans -> Side Fans -> Top Fans, not bottom fans because you connected them at the CHA-FAN Pins. Right?

    I like the design they have put into this case but it would be for very specific builds. I would not have enough cable length to feed my peripherals out the back using the cable management... my case is upwards of 4 feet away from some of my racing gear. I also would not be able to use my water distro block from D140 Phanteks in the back of the case because it is contoured for the IO shield and would look kind of dumb in the back. I also could not use my 420mm radiator in this case. I guess I will stick to my Phanteks 719 for the foreseeable future.
    I see they plan to make a NV9 but the price for that is not what I am willing to spend. Especially since I already spent $200 on this 719 case.

    Hello Christopher, I am a bit confused as to how you wired the cablemod 12vhpwr extension to your power supply. You mentioned the “black” 12vhpwr was too short and used the cablemod extension (white). Can you clarify how you hooked up the extension to the existing 12vhpwr you had before. Thanks

    • @jc1797x
      @jc1797x 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Or is there an addition cable needed to go from the PSU to the extension (12vhpwr) thanks

    I’ve just ordered this case, will be installing 13 Lian Li infinity’s, can I ask how you would advise the exhaust to intake set up? Would you say 3 exhaust through the top aio rad and two exhaust rear while the bottom 3 and 4 back panel to be intake?
    Many thanks
