- Today Phanteks have released their hyped NV9 case after the well received release of the NV5 and NV7 earlier this year. We wanted to take this custom water cooled pc build to the next level and see what amazing water cooling loop we could build to do this case justice.

Sick build! Love the runs to the passthrough! Have you used much Aqua Computer parts by the way? Would love to see content creators use more of their gear.
I have not used much, hard to find in Australia
Be careful with Aqua Computer, their after-sales service is catastrophic, refusal after refusal even without being responsible

I was wondering. How do you calculate where to drill the holes to get exactly parallel tubes before installing the gpu and cpu with fittings and such?
I actually pre bent the tubes and marked where i have to drill

The gold and black looks fantastic! Especially impressed with how well the color of the unifans matches the gold fittings. Curious if the lian li upright gpu mount might work in this case. I have the evo xl but prefer the aesthetics of the nv9 and if I could mount my strix 4090 upright I would be sold. Tried to do my build in the nv7 and it was just too cramped.
There are certainly plenty of brackets out there for verticql mounting that would work
@@DesignsByIFR thank you for the reply, but I don't mean vertical mounting, I'm talking about the upright configuration where the GPU is mounted in the spot you placed the distro plate in this build. 💛

Good afternoon! Which product is better? Phanteks NV9 or Lian Li O11D Evo XL?
What is the material for the rear panel, acrylic sheet ? And what the paint type ?
7:16 the only thing you’re missing out by using these fans is when you going for exhaust you would be stuck with the ugly side, because lian li have no reverse fans so phanteks d30 fast would look better

What's the purpose of the panel that you drilled? What's on the other side of that panel?
Thats the black panel i put in, i showed the back with the white tubes, its to connect everything so i can keep all the tubes parallel

Only thing prevents me from buying is front usb beeing at the bottom of the case as I would sit the case on the ground it is too low and deal breaker

All that cooling potential and an i5 13600k? I would dare say that anyone looking at the NV9 (instead for the 5 or 7) is not going to be running an i5 cpu
You would be surprised. The i5 is a fantastic cpu for gaming, if they are doing workloads then yes i would agree

can someone please explain the difference between the NV7 and NV9 to me? is it just that some dimensions are larger?
Larger for more watercooling compatibility
There's the nv5, nv7 and nv9, the higher the number at the end the larger the case. This one has better support for eatx motherboards, more fans, more watercooling support, more gpu configurations.
The main difference is that the nv9 supports triple140mm fans on the top, bottom and sides. Vs the Nv7 which could only do two on each side
