So does that solenoid take care of both codes I’m showing p0761 shift solenoid “c” performance/stuck off and p2714 pressure control solenoid “D” performance/stuck off on my 2011 tundra
Hi question the solenoid all worked? So what was the problem that you had to take it apart? Hypothetical let’s say there was no metal shavings what would you have done next?
The problem I'm running into is that mechanics don't want to fix your transmission nowadays...they want to replace your transmission. Im guessing because that is easier for them, but at a much greater cost for you.
It's like I said you will need to take the AT pan off and then look around the magnet. If you see a punch of debris, you gonna need to replace the transmission. Good luck
Hello. I test the SLT and clicking. But when i test on valve body with scantool it make buzzing sound? It's normal? Cauze i can't shift to 4th gear. Got P27137F code too
I got that same sound even after I replaced the slt solenoid the problem still exists so I bought a used trany and I replaced it now drive like champ no more codes!
@@JoSe2beazt of course they not gonna tell you because they just want your money . I'm sorry to tell you that but in 💵 💵 my experience don't waste your time and money with replacing solenoid and fluid at the end you would have to replace the transmission because is not going to be like before this is my suggestion.
Did you say changing the slt sensor itll be ok ? Cant really hear what you said. Im having both the codes. Shifting Wasn’t as bad but got worse in a few days. Sometimes doesn’t want to shift out of 5th or its shift into 3 then before it shifts again its like slip then stay in same gear and rev high without switching gears
I bought this car to resale, just dont want to invest too much. If its the transmission i rather just swap it out instead of replacing solenoids if they around going to make a difference.
Hello i m from germany And I got a lexus gs300 with a A960E transmission just as yours. I got These two error codes P2714 P0761. I will change the solenoids with a 250$ kit from China. (I know they Are Not orignal but if They work They work. Tell me ur opionion about this please). And my Main question is: How do I Check if There is enough oil in my transmission. I know it sounds dumb but…. Hope u can help me! Thanks:)
hello and welcome to my channel, in my opinion as i worked on Lexus and Toyota transmissions many time and like i always do first of all to check your fluid you need to make sure that you check it after you drive the car for maybe 15 min or let it run until its warm enough then shift all gears then you need to check the fluid while the car is running by raising the car up on a straight level, under the pan there's a hex bolt when you loose this bolt you need to see some fluid drippings if not you will need to connect the fluid pump to it until you see the fluid start to come out of until it stop drain the fluid and you good .about the china solenoid i really use only the oem solenoid but let me tell you if you see good amount of debris in the pan magnet it means your internal trans is gone if not then you can check each solenoid by disconnect the connector and check the solenoid with 12v if it clicks it mean is working . let me know if you need more help thanks
How do you put solved when you said you changed the transmission! That’s not solving the problem unless it actually needed a new tranny. There are far more things you can do besides just giving up and changing the tranny 😅
@@hanitwfik ok, what if you have no debris in the pan? It could be the TCM, wiring or a number of other things causing the faulty solenoid codes as well.
@Justin Norton lol . No, I replaced it because I found a punch of debris in it. Also, that trany is so cheap with a warranty, and it's cheaper than rebuilding

Hello, i got both codes after i got a transmission fluid flush from a shop. What should i do?
It is not recommended to do flush if your car is high mileage.

When you see a debris in the pan, if you just keep replacing solenoid valves, sensors, or even the valve body. You're just wasting money 😉
