The fact that every single of one the chimera ant arc songs gave me insane goosebumps just because of the memories I have from the show, it really goes to show how truly phenomenal the chimera ant arc is, Tagahashi is a literal mastermind and I’m forever thankful he created the masterpiece that is in my opinion the greatest story ever told, The Chimera Ant Arc

@@guidomista8448 I think there is too much noise in DN sountrack, in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, I love those tracks too, but HxH collection is far more refined. DN tracks had a more singular vibe, while HxH allowed a far wider range of emotions and stories to be conveyed through it's music

My son is 5, and is a big Mario from Nintendo fan. He just listened to “Kingdom of predators for the first time”. I had him close his eyes and listen so he can tell me what he thinks the song was about. He told me he thinks it’s about Mario who wasn’t able to save peach and is now in heaven, so he’s sad about it 😭😭😭
One of the things that struck me most about Hunter x Hunter was the music. It's outstanding! To hear it performed by a symphony like this, too, really brings home the sophistication of it. They truly outdid themselves when they composed the score for this series. All of these songs are timeless, and are an inextricable part of the series. I truly don't think we would feel the same way about Hunter x Hunter without it!

That opening where they're talking about The Rose, the nuclear device that's planted in Netero's heart, and they're playing that violin piece throughout the entire sequence -- independent from even the show itself, it is an incredibly emotional scene. The way they're able to accomplish so many emotional moments through the score is something you typically only see in high-budget films. For an anime, it's unheard of.
I wonder what Yoshihiro Togashi would be thinking if he was at that concert? It's unbelievable how a seemingly trivial thing like a manga could make such an impact on so many people. Without Togashi putting pen to paper we wouldn't have a HxH anime and without the anime Yoshihisa Hirano's masterful score for HxH wouldn't exist. It's amazing where things can lead to.

Why is it that anime/video game music always sounds so amazing in symphonies, rather than the usual symphonies created exactly for that purpose? By the way I loved Kingdom of Predators here, it was perfect and sad.
The game and anime orchestras can be considered superior to classical ones because there are more techniques diacovered through time that are included in the recent ones. So the newest orchestra songs ahould be technically far superior to the older ones.

Awesome, wish their were more orchestra performances of Hunter x Hunter. Always wanted to hear Hegemony of the Food Chain and they had a good attempt at it.
Wow somehow I can totally imagine Shizuku enjoying the orchestra music. Probably Shalnark too, then the others will be like huh I really don't get what's so good about these.
The OST from HxH is actually pretty complex, pieces like the Hegemony of the Food Chain are D E M A N D I N G, so u need a pro philarmonic to play it, wich yeah, pretty darn expensive.
And some people dare to say anime is just cartoon when has a history, a manga, an animated production, an music production, so many persons working on the final result an "anime" can bring us good memories and joy can help us grow, and let behind this kind of masterpiece. I'm glad I'm in this side of the road!
HxH has such a dynamic range of music variation. Only OST's I've seen come close is AoT and FMA Yoshihisa Hirano, Akira Senju, Hiroyuki Sawano and Yutaka Yamada are only some of the greatest anime composers
HxH OST is more divert and deeper than AoT's. The latter doesnt have advanturous/funky/weird bizarre music in it as HxH does. And the gap gets even bigger if you add the 1999 version. 2011 and 1999 HxH combo is just the ultimate shit when it comes to soundtracks.
Wow, the transition from calm and collective(Requiem of Aranea) to battlefield Riot was perfect, you can feel and see the difference in grandiose energy in there effort as if in a real battle.
Crying is a response from your brain, a reaction, just like laugh. When you get overwhelmed with memories, sensations, feelings, you can start to cry, and it's pretty satisfying to let it flow. I remember laughing when I would get hit by screamers because my brain didn't know how to react lol
When Kingdom of Predartos plays in the scene where Pitou plays with Pockkles's brain and he gives her the information about Nem, it's epic, the Chimera Ants Arc is a masterpiece

What an amazing performance!!! Hunters x hunters chimera arc ost has some of the most heart clenching music by far in anime! These guys perfected to bring the same feeling
Except the ending and lack of a proper continuation which makes you want more. The last ep was good but set up a whole new arc that would be epic if it ever got animated. Plus we don't know what happened to kurapika or the phantom troupe
Greedo ilando took a bit too long imo. Rest, excellent yes, especially the perfect consistency which lacks horrendously in a lot of other anime i love.

I wonder what Yoshihiro Togashi would be thinking if he was at that concert? It's unbelievable how a seemingly trivial thing like a manga could make such an impact on so many people. Without Togashi putting pen to paper we wouldn't have a HxH anime and without the anime Yoshihisa Hirano's masterful score for HxH wouldn't exist. It's amazing where things can lead to.

Why is it that anime/video game music always sounds so amazing in symphonies, rather than the usual symphonies created exactly for that purpose? By the way I loved Kingdom of Predators here, it was perfect and sad.
The game and anime orchestras can be considered superior to classical ones because there are more techniques diacovered through time that are included in the recent ones. So the newest orchestra songs ahould be technically far superior to the older ones.

I always loved the Hunter x Hunter soundtrack, but seeing the orchestra actually play it hits different.
HxH has such a dynamic range of music variation.
Only OST's I've seen come close is AoT and FMA
Yoshihisa Hirano, Akira Senju, Hiroyuki Sawano and Yutaka Yamada are only some of the greatest anime composers
HxH OST is more divert and deeper than AoT's.
The latter doesnt have advanturous/funky/weird bizarre music in it as HxH does. And the gap gets even bigger if you add the 1999 version.
2011 and 1999 HxH combo is just the ultimate shit when it comes to soundtracks.
AoT and FMA? I'm always looking for good anime with especially good, melancholic or dark diverse and epic music.

Wow, the transition from calm and collective(Requiem of Aranea) to battlefield Riot was perfect, you can feel and see the difference in grandiose energy in there effort as if in a real battle.
The crescendos in Kingdom of Predators were insane, the way the woodwinds and cymbals waver there adds so much depth to the performance.
The conductor is totally a HxH fan I mean, look at him 05:09 he feels it
