Haha it was quite excessive. But still fun lol

Agent 47 in his downtime

agree
I've come to the conclusion over the past few years that the Danish National Symphony is the movie music orchestra par excellence, almost without peer. Oh and let's never ever overlook the jewel in that crown - the beauty, dramatic verve, and incredible talent that is Tuva!
Almost? Who would you say are better? They do plenty of non-movie music including even the pieces people view as classical despite the whole technically a lot of movies have music that fits the classical genre as do many computer games, Still they do the usual stuff too
Still as a very real strength is the commitment to the piece that when they play something like Bolero they look much the same as other symphonies - without a doubt they play extremely well but so do many symphonies
Tuva is actually Norwegian ;)
#agree Thing is, the DNSO (DR Koncerthuset) takes the material seriously; there's none of the snobbery and condescension of some of Europe's better known and more prestigious symphony orchestras - you know the ones I mean - and none of the laziness of more the commercially driven lesser orchestras. The Danish National Symphony takes the works of Howard Shore, John Williams and others seriously, and it shows. Fine works, performed by a fine orchestra. And while I'm on this, I have a lot of time - a lot of time - for Tuva Semmingsen. And not just because she's "the wa-wa lady."
I’d say the swedish radio orchestra is pretty high in my list also even if there’s no choirs and such (th-cam.com/video/jdVpJfXXoFI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=eBDuwwNpju3n01G8)
@@alexs.1242Not only do they take the pieces seriously, they go all in to make the audience feel at home. Not to mention the video production is unmatched, it makes all the difference in the world. ❤
To the orchestra i have only one thing to say: My friends, you bow to no one 😊
200 %
Exept the string section, you kind of need to.
All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.
Now come the days of the King. May they be blessed.
@@ScareWest”This day does not belong to one man, but to all. Let us together rebuild this world that we may share in the days of peace.”
@@ethanschmid4104 My friends, you bow to no one.
@@ScareWestMy favorite line of the whole series.
"What instrument do you play?"
*"Chains"*
“Gollum”
I have no idea why, but every time I listen to "Riders of Rohan", no matter what, a tear drop from my eyes. Such a masterpiece!!!
Edit 1: People of culture...I see...I see...
one of the most inspiring, hopeful motifs ever written
For me ,when the Elves honored their alliance with Man , entering Helms Deep i always tear up.
This is true, it's a very emotional feel, the lone violin. Beautiful.
I always thought the look of the Rohan culture closely resembles those of the Vikings. The fact a Danish orchestra is playing the Rohan theme gives me the chills.
🍑
Having Saruman play the prologue was a nice touch. 😊
came to the comments just to check if anyone else had spotted Saruman 🤣
Same here 😂@@emceeninethree9184
There is no doubt that the Tolkien world of music composed by Howard Shore in both the Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings are truly his magnum opus.
Even though I am not a part of our national orchestra, I have an enormous pride in our Orchestra! This is what we (among so many other things) get when we pay our taxes for the common good. Money for many things but so important that we never forget the arts. This is what makes people feel, think and wonder! Out national orchestra truly is one of a kind with their amazing musicians, settings and audio production!
Your national orchestra is amazing. I enjoy watching the videos from the USA.
You have every reason to feel pride in your national orchestra, it is, indeed, amazing.
Esta orquesta es un orgullo para el mundo. Saludos desde Chile.
You guys have every right to be proud of them. The musicianship of the performers and the quality of the production itself is just beyond top-notch.
I am from the U.S. and I have followed the orchestra for years. The amazing talent and Awe they inspire is truly magical. They alight with a wondrous joy for the soul indeed.
Excellent playing on the Gollumophone. A unique instrument for sure
I've heard it rumoured among the Elves of old it takes hundreds of years of regret, isolation, mountaineering, and raw fish just to master it. Not many music sheets are written for the Gollumophone either, quite a dedicated craftsman.
Definitely one of the hardest instruments to master my precious.
It’s certainly a rare sight to see such an experienced Gollumophone player, especially since every one has to have mastered the Smeagolhorn before they even begin playing.
The absolute BEST palate cleanser after a long, hard day: “All’s well that ends better.”
LOTR Suite + Danish Orchestra = Masterpiece!! 🔥🔥🔥
One day I will see a live concert orchestra of the Lord Of The Rings....And I know I will cry when I hear the music.
I cried watching it on TH-cam. I can’t imagine the amount of tears I would shed if I saw it live.
I’m just imagining Gandalf saying: “I will not say do not cry, for not all tears are evil.”
Three minutes in and I have tears streaming from the beautiful soloist’s voice. Magnificent!
Tuva is amazing.
Me too!
Yes she is
Look for them doing spaghetti Western themes, she is great there too
The drummer looks like he is having the time of his life!
A better drummer gig is fairly hard to imagine.
I'd heard of pits for drummers but did not anticipate having to play in one when a foundation who always insisted our non-profit was one of their favourites and they did not typically have music at there galas What was worse was after our ensemble had played or during I suppose they came up with other ways they needed me in the pit and due to the whole we every so often needed a grant for them , so I am in a hole cram packed with every type of percussion ever needed , I am both tall and have broad shoulders so moving was a challenge and well a bit of my head was right where people usually entered,
They seemed to think this was fixable by me despite there not really being room for slouching
Who knows how many drummers are being put in a hole every day but being one is filled with misadventure as it is needed way too often So of course he looks happy who knows what went on when he was younger I almost never had to play in a pit and yet after the first time a bitt of room to move and good sightlines and well not having people trip over my head all gained value, Things that I had not thought to worry about,
the magic isn't playing well alone. The magic is playing Well as a group, the will of a whole orchestra aligning

My mom loved Lotr, it connected us we watched the movies through my entire childhood over and over again. She Died at the age of 51. THAT Part is so damn emotional to me everytime again. And of course when Frodo hugs Sam at the end
Last Saturday, my husband and I saw all three extended films in the movie theater. It was fantastic!
It's wonderful to hear the music again. Thank you.
That’s amazing. 🙂
What better way to spend a day?
I was very lucky to witness this, and I am forever grateful to have experienced one of the greatest orchestras in the world, perform some of the most beautiful music ever created! - Love Tuva's performance as always! ❤
Lucky ;)
Her voice is like silk and a warm blanket. phenomenal
Where did you witness this and do you know where I can see where and when they play.
Wow. Hands down one of the best female vocalists I've ever heard. What a stunning voice.
thank you so much youtube algorithm for bringing me here.
Me to!
Needs lighting of the beacons. Truly the most spine tingling LOTR music for me
Lotr Music will forever live on thank You Howard Shore. Rings Of Power will never be Lotr.
100% my friend
I am captivated by the extraordinary talent of the Danish National Symphony Orchestra, especially in their renditions of movie and game themes. Their incorporation of these elements into their repertoire not only enriches the cultural experience and highlights their impressive musical versatility but also deepens my respect for the true artistry embedded in these soundtracks.
Agree. This slower take was truly mesmerizing.
The Last March of the Ents (Isengard Unleashed) beginning at 16:04 is unreal, especially when the soprano comes in. Just breathtaking.
she is Cassandra Lemoine
Spectacular! I am so impressed with the number of elves in the orchestra. Magnificent!
And here it is:
Rohan, Stairs of Khazad-dûm, Gollum's song, Isengard... It's all SO good!
The Danish National Symphony is my favorite in the world. From a Polak who loves your Witcher covers, to Star Wars, LotR, GoT, everything. You make my days sooo muuuch happier I have no other choice but to love every single on of you, who perform and conduct in this beautiful amalgamation of amazing people. Thank you for everything you do
Incredible... Musical masterpiece.
There has never been a movie like LOTR. It's one of a kind. Wonder if we'll see another one like it in our lifetime? I really doubt it but it would be amazing.
If they would do the silmarillion it would be fantastic,of course if they did it right I mean
The more I see and hear of Tuva the more I like her. Still the best way wah lady. Love the elf ears.
You talented rascals brought tears to my ears.
Incredible! Thank you for honoring Howard Shore and Tolkien so much.
Great to see Agent 47 himself, David Bateson, doing the voices here. One of the best actors in Denmark
Tuva's performance of Gollum's Song is hauntingly beautiful.
No pressure in being the opening solo performer.
He’s been doing it for years.
Bravo Tuva!
Not to disregard of course all those talented musicians…Loved the violin girl in elves ears Lol. All blood stirring stuff👍
today i searched danish orchestra lotr performances. Now i see uploaded video about Lotr. Hella 2024 don't fu me
Love it!! Absolutely stunning. Greetings from Switzerland.
This is absolutely “BEAUTIFUL”…the singing reminds of WHY I use to play ENYA. TUVA’s Vocals is icing on the cake 🧁. This was done PERFECTLY. Thank you for sharing your Incredible Performance. This takes me through the JOURNEY of “Lord of the Rings”. Happy Easter 2024’ 🎧🎼🤍🎶🙏🏽
Had goosebumps all throughout Gollum's song. Love this orchestra.
This video should be the reason for TH-cam to make a double like button.
I got goosebumps from the beginning to the end watching this video
Howard Shore was in his bag when he wrote the music for LoTR, so damn good!
a great performance of one of the best soundtracks of the best movie trilogy on this planet
Having goosebumps; thanks to all the orchestra/choir for this extraordinary performance of a timeless soundtrack 🤩😍🥰
Loved the whole thing. But the last march of the ents is even better then the original. I would pay some good money to hear this life.
Rohan, this melody is everything...makes me cry!!!
Absolutely beautiful! Although, looking at the musicians I believe there might be a little elvish magic in there. I want to go to Denmark and watch a live performance. Everyone is amazing!
You are most welcome. It’s super easy! The concert hall is literally a few meters from a metro station
I went to the cinema when they released fellowship of the ring, in 2001, I never will ever forget it.
Same here…and the anguish of having to wait a full year for the next chapter
Mesmerizing. The attention to detail and the musicianship at display is simply amazing.
Love seeing our national orchestra performing these legendary movie soundtracks.
🇩🇰
The sound and video technicians are just as good as the orchestra and other artists.
It's the "wa wah waaaah" lady from the, "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" performance! Glad I got to see her in something else...not that I don't watch it basically nonstop...because it's awesome...
Восторг! Браво! В особенности дирижёру, первой скрипке, певцам! Оркестр! Хор! Солисты! Потрясающе сделана работа!!!
Thanks for beautiful interpretation.
I think Tolkien would be so, so proud to see and hear this. Simply angelic.
This nearly had me crying. What a wonderful orchestra!! I would give anything to be sitting in the audience.
You have a heart of stone and a soul of ash if that Shire flute doesn't make you smile.

This has to be the best Orchestra in the world. Every single performance they do is simply spectacular.
Incredible what happens when you tax society and redistribute wealth, right? Strong unions, surplus on the budget, most valuable company in Europe (Novo), happiest people in the world. Almost like it works.

Danish people, very great. Fully appreciate. An epic performance.
I think it's fantastic how this orchestra puts on these performances! They are always impeccably crafted! And a show of performances by musicians and conductors. Irreproachable. I am always moved when I hear and see these presentations. Paulo Walraven, from Brazil.
