      Yes thank you. I know. So since I didn't say SPONSORED then I probably paid $70 for it off of QVC and then donating to a friend when I was done with it. That's probably what happened.

    I bought an older gray model at a garage sale for $10. Works great. When I was working at a yard building medical modulars, a crew of 6 of us would cook lunch every day on it. Preheat it 15 min before lunch. Steaks, chicken, bratwurst, and baked beans in an 8x8 baking pan. With a little creativity we were even making breakfast burritos on it. I'll tell ya, it beat going out for lunch every day.

    Just recently bought the 70$ one. It works most similar to a grill in a restaurant. But I'm far from disappointed. I cleans up great, no need for any nonstick spray at all. It cooks large chunks of meat well ( with some practice ), I have cooked brisket on it . It loves beef.

    I liked mine and used it in the screened patio. The grease catcher was flimsy and occasioned to dump grease on the floor. Cleanup was not "just a paper towel". Taking it apart for a thorough cleaning was a challenge that many, per Walmart reviews, we incapable of doing. Bottom line, get a stove top pan and save a bunch of money and aggravation.

    • @iimasahm6438
      @iimasahm6438 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well my experience was almost identical to CWJ's, including the easy cleanup with just paper towels. The average number of towels I use for each cleanup is about 4 1/2 towels, since we use the select-a-size towels. I got use to cleaning these George Foreman grills with just paper towels while they were still slightly warm and continued doing it with the indoor/outdoor. Easy setup, easy cooking, easy cleanup - easy peasy!!

    I got this George Foreman Grill a few years ago because it is electric and I did not want to use propane... However, mine has been in the box, not even unpacked for the past 7 or 8 years... I just never got around to using it, but now, with this video I think it is time for me to get it out of the Guestroom closet and set it up... I did not even realize when I bought it that I could use it indoors... it is freezing outside here in Canada....

    The cooking spray will slowly degrade the non stick coating every time you use it. It's best to avoid using non stick stray on non stick items. Use a little oil instead.

    • @ohdogwow2
      @ohdogwow2 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I bought one of those add your own oil pump sprayers. I think mine is the Misto brand. They are great.

    • @chatomairi
      @chatomairi 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I believe it's more of the amount of over sprayer that's being put on the surface. It's putting a lot of little drops everywhere especially where food isn't cooking. The over spray will get extremely hot and burn into the coating causing it to mess up over time. Nonstick surfaces are sensitive to high heat.

    To simplify opening tightly packed boxes like this: Open the box, flip it so the open side is facing down, then slowly pull up the box catching anything that might want to fall out. At the end, your package will be standing upright without the box and easily disassembled.

    How do you grill a chuck roast and get it tender? I have tried and it turns out dry. I do the chuck steaks (roast) like a pot roast (add beef gravy to it as it cooks) on 200 F. for 4 hours and it comes out fork tender. . . How high does the temp on this grill get? Thanks for the video

      On a regular grill try cooking it with indirect heat... Meaning put your charcoal on one side of grill nothing on the other side the side without charcoal is where your roast will go.... Nice juicy and tender

    How much smoke or food smell, throughout the home, I know you said it was more steam than smoke. But, do you get any smoke, does it linger?

      Ya, I'd like to know this too. I've seen vids of other ppl putting the grill on top of their stove without the stand so that the steam/smoke can go up into the range hood.

    This grill is definitely more practical to use outdoors than indoors in my opinion. Stick to the smaller countertop Foreman grills if you don't have the option of cooking outdoors.
