Keep in mind that the Foreman was initial created for "healthier" eating, so it's designed to get the grease away from your food. Unfortunately, part of the same process to remove grease also removes the other juices, which is the press. That's why it isn't as juicy and fills up the drip tray a lot more. I have one of the higher end Foreman grills with swappable plates and I love it. But I also have a real grill now for when I prioritize flavor.
Not to mention Fat is not unhealthy, it's actually good for you. Too many people eat processed carbs such as sugar and also starches. Then wonder why their body needs sugar for fuel and ignores fat.
Hey just a heads up. The George Foreman grill comes in multiple models depending on where you buy it. The best version is from Costco. I purchased the Walmart version and when going online to review recipes I found out there’s a Walmart, Target, and Costco version. I sent the Walmart version back and got the Costco because it has a digital display that gives it more controls like a timer and temperature gauge.
It's the same for the Ninja Foodi air fryer. You get the most features buying it from Sam's Club, and the best price when on sale there as it hits just below $160.

Very easy uncomplicated device to use. I have even started using it to heat meat pies and it does a terrific job. Imagine eating a hot pie with grill marks!
I've had several George Foreman grills over the years and after watching this, I went online to search for a Shaq brand. Found at Target for 49.99 and ordered for pick-up later today. Can't wait to try it!
@@coryaw95 Didn't read the instructions (which I am VERY bad at doing) but got it done. When I turned it on, it was set at 400 so I left it. I set my timer for 6 minutes, then realized after a couple that I hadn't turned on the upper plate. Turned that on and flipped the burgers since the bottom was pretty much done already. Final result is they turned out fine, juicy and I was happy with the end result. I am 68 and just don't cook that much anymore but I am looking forward to trying pork chops with it!!!
I've owned Foreman grills for what seems like my whole life, but in this competition the Shaq grill wins. That spring loaded bottom grill plate is genius. And as I get older and more forgetful, having a timer function is a godsend.
@@karinborschman1619 that isn't a bad thing. Look up how fat was stigmatized by big sugar. It's no where near as bad for you as almost any kind of sugar is.
I worked in restaurants for years. If we wanted fast, we used weights on the meat but it always comes out drier. The reason why the George may have been lighter color on bottom is if the chicken got pressed down into the grates, so the juices didn't drain as well. So then it would steam more on the bottom than grill. YMMV
That's the one I had. The little 2 burger grill, lol. I decided to move up to the newer model and boy was I sad I did. That original one worked so much better. Lol
I have a question regarding the grease collection on the Shaq grill. You showed there was minimal grease, but failed to show where the balance of the grease was. The collection ring inside must have been holding it. Is that collection ring removable for cleaning purposes? Otherwise, it looks like a chore to get down inside to clean it.
I was wondering this too. The minute he showed that canal thing I was like, "oohhh....no no no, that's gonna be a pain to clean later." With there being such little grease in the tray, it either doesn't make enough contact to eliminate the grease, or it's all collecting inside. Either way, it defeats the purpose for me. I use my old George Foreman (the white dome type one) for the removing of grease benefits.
@@Amarianee I checked the Target website, and the official video they have on it shows the bottom plate, and inner grease ring lifting out, along with the top plate, and grease tray to be put in the dishwasher, so it does not look too hard to clean.
Oh! I've talked with someone who uses the phrase "balance of" rather than "rest of" and I was hoping to find out what your first language is, it's an interesting translation issue that I've been trying to figure out. Thank you in advance!
The timer feature on the Shaq is kinda weird. You figure it would start the countdown after you close the lid or after it feels that you put something on the actual grill.
I think George's grill just squeezes the food while grilling it whereas the shaq's grill leaves more space when the lid is closed so that's why the burger was less juicy on gorge and the cheese squeezed out the bread for the grilled cheese
you ever watch a short order cook a burger on a grill, before flipping it, he mashes the juice out of it! That's what the GF grill does the entire time it cooks it. I like its burgers very much, have cooked boneless pork chops and chicken breasts on it too. But I cut the chicken breasts to where they are all the same thickness before cooking. Come out fine.
I have an old model George Formleman and I love it. It came with the regular grill, the extra waffle inserts, and the panini inserts. I think there are so many different models of both out there that you can find the one that best fits your needs. I don't think you can go wrong either way.
With school ramping back up and some kids heading into college dorms, what would you recommend for "in-dorm" cooking? Can we have a video or "revisit" on that?
I would imagine most colleges don't let you have any kind of in dorm cooking devices besides a microwave, at least that's how it was when I went to school 10 years ago.
@@hotfiyah I know they don't allow "hot plates" or similar devices, but I wonder what is out there. What are the possible options? I've seen people using irons, items that heat hair, and coffee pots--but I wouldn't say they're great for making meals. I've also heard about some people touting the convection toaster ovens as an alternative to the hot plate because it's "enclosed". Air fryers?
i know this may sound weird but looking into prison cooking videos might be a decent idea. they have access to ramen noodle packs but the only hot water comes out of the tap and is luke warm, some of the shit those people come up with is pretty creative.
Sara Fimm he did a review for something called 5 minute chef, basically a small oval George Forman grill, might be useful for dorms if they allow it(easy to hide though with its small size during dorm inspections) but can't fit much on there

these are both great for dorm living and/or apartments that don't have a stove/overhead fan. I've owned Foreman grills in the past and they are always solid with how simplistic they are.
My 20$ (CDN) George Foreman grill that I bought many years ago is the bare bones single burger grill. No on/off switch, no temperature control. Nothing. But it works pretty good and is cheap.
I still have an original foreman grill from 1994 and use multiple times per week, i love it, dont need the fancy addons, i have a timer and meat thermometer that work, i wish you would have shown the trouble of cleaning both
Your channel is such an amazing, honest, entertaining source of information. I just purchased the SHAQ grill. Add that to a short list of items we have discovered and bought thanks to you and this channel. THANK YOU!!
Thanks for posting. This was interesting. A couple thoughts. I can't say for certain since I wasn't present for the tests. but it looked more like steam than smoke escaping from each grill. It would have been interesting to check the accuracy of each grills temperature settings. Was 425 really 425? Did the top element attain the same temp as the lower?
I have never had a shack Grill. However I've had three George Foreman grills, always like George Foreman grills. And I've had one Hamilton Beach Grill which that's the one I like the best but I just can't find them. Unfortunately I wore them all out.
@@shanethrelfall416 I've got a Hamilton Beach grill, they are good, but you really have to watch it as they don't have a heat setting, they can tend to burn things easy, and at least on mine the lid is a bit heavy, and does not like to stay open on it's own very well, and the outside gets really hot, but if it's raining outside it's good for cooking 6 - 8 burgers at a time. where my smaller George with the bun warmer only does 2 at a time max.
I really do think that George Foreman grill is the best one out there and my very first George Foreman grill big enough to put two Hamburgers on it and it had the bun warmer on top
Ah, the bun warmer. Also known as the top got WAY to hot so they added the plastic dome and called it a "bun warmer" so they didn't have to fix it....lol
I've owned two George Foreman's grills. The first was one of the originals and cleaning that was a nightmare. The teflon eventually wore off. The second one I have currently. We use it from time to time but we got a charcoal grill and use that currently since it's summer. We'll probably go back to the Foreman for winter cooking. The plates at the 30-ish dollar version come and clean up nice. There is a patina that cannot be scrubbed from under the plates--a bit rust/black color like my cookie sheets can get but not scrub off like the cookie sheets; it's on there permanently. I do not like the light system. It's supposed to go Green when it's ready, but it doesn't. It's got yellow and red so you start red when you preheat, change to yellow and then are supposed to go green. I waited half an hour. No green. Haven't seen green more than 5 seconds once then it dropped back to yellow in the middle of cooking. It cooks well. Grilled cheese never worked on either Foreman but pannis DO work. We used to make them a lot on the old one. I am particularly fond of roast beef and swiss on rye or a more traditional ham and multiple versions of cheese sandwich on any bread. I'm glad that I replaced the defunct older one but wonder often if I should have gotten a bit better one at the higher price point. Still not sure on that. REMOVABLE PLATES ARE A MUST though. Trust me. Lifesaver.
The George Foreman grills have always used a floating hinge for the top cover. The weight of the top smushes the food, which I never liked. Thats why the burgers are sandwiches are flatter. It also presses out all the liquids, fat or not. This causes the natural juices in the meat to be squeezed out and is why they are so dry. I had a George Foreman Grill from around 2000. The small one with the bun warmer. I used it for a while, but the novelty wore off. I actually just recently decided to get rid of it. It was mostly unused in the last 20 years and just taking up space.
Yep, they were designed that way on purpose to try and have less fat in your food to make it healthier. But, they definitely have a dry blander taste to them.
@@keinlieb3818 No. The tilt/drain was designed to let the fat drip away from the food, so it wasnt sitting and frying in its own fat. The weight of the lid pressed the natural juices (which are not fat) out of the burgers.
@@finkelmana those natural juices are fat. Where do you think all that grease comes from that drips away? Seriously, what are those "juices" made of if it's not fat?

I will be using the grill for my salmon cakes, and of course chicken and burgersI used to own a GF grill and I loved it when I had kids at home (15 years ago) but now it’s just more surface than I need.
Was there any difference when cleaning them in the dishwasher? I purchased an inexpensive electric griddle that claims to be dishwasher safe but it does not even fit into my dishwasher. Love the channel, keep the reviews coming.

Since he skimmed by it I will point out that contrary to how it looked at 4:21 the Shaq grill does, in fact, touch whatever is put in with both grill plates which you can see most clearly at 6:19 as there's burger juice sizzling on the top grill. Of course you can also see this with all the other tests as everything else has grill lines both top and bottom. Just figured it'd be worth noting here as I know it's easy to get caught up in the flow of the video and not realize the first impressions were thankfully not accurate. I will also point out that both grills contour to the shape of the meat when one side is thicker than the other, contrary to how it looks from the outside at 11:42. This is due to what he mentioned near the beginning at around 3:50, the fact that the Shaq grill's top may not shift but the bottom grill on the inside is spring loaded, allowing it to shift instead and conform to whatever's inside, meaning that no matter which grill is chosen the user is going to get even grill lines across the entire thing and not have to worry about the grill not touching any part of the top or bottom of what's being cooked. These things were clearly silently taken into account, but I felt they were also worth mentioning just in case someone watching remembered the comments about the Shaq grill not touching with both plates and how the Shaq grill only visibly conformed a little but also didn't notice that it had grill lines on both the top and bottom as well as across an entire uneven piece of meat.
I used the George Forman grill years ago, the one thing I didn't like, when cooking a steak as an example the top doesn't sit flat, it was always at an angle. I didn't care for that. Now watching the comparison of the two, while the Shaq improves with the floating bottom it seems like there are still issues, and maybe you could expand on this, it appears the lower section doesn't have every strong springs so the heavier the meat product the more it would drop, which would explain why the bottom cooked darker than the top. Interesting that the Shaq grill is mentioned as a panini grill, I prefer a panini grill, mostly due to the hinge on most are floating hinges, (at least the ones I've owned had floating hinges). The floating hinges the Panini makers have provide a better and more consistent pressure and better cooking, My opinion. The only issue I've ever had with a Panini maker is clean-up which I solved by lining the top and bottom with foil prior to cooking anything and cleanup is a breeze.
Can we get an instant pot vs ninja foodi pressure cookers showdown with both air fry lids? I know you've done air fryers before but the pressure cooker with air fry lids are more of an all in one approach I think.
I own a Foreman Evolve grill and I love it. It has removable ceramic grill plates that are insanely easy to clean. You can also pick up a good variety of replacement plates to do anything from bacon and eggs to pan pizza. The only problem with Foreman grills I've noticed is that the lids are quite heavy, which compresses things like grilled cheese sandwiches. Older Foreman grills had a way to hold the lid about an inch or inch and a half above the bottom plate, which minimized that crush effect. And a hint when cooking chicken on a grill: you should always use something to flatten out the boneless breast to a more even thickness so that it cooks more evenly. A kitchen mallet or even a small cast iron frying pan will do a great job of that. Makes a huge difference when cooking that cut of meat. I also recommend brining a boneless breast to keep it from drying out during cooking. Finally, even though these grills cook from both the top and bottom, I find you will get better results by flipping and turning them halfway through the cooking time. You can also get a nice cross-hatch grill mark by doing that. 👍
Cleanability? Not just putting the plates into the dishwasher. What about the grease trap on the Shaq and the cheese drippage on the Foreman? Did any of the food or moisture get onto the heat coils?
What are they like for cleaning? Sure, they both have removable grill plates but does one scrub up easier than the other? What if they get really dirty with lots of burnt on stuff like cheese and meat fat?
The Shaq Grill has Two Drip Trays. The first one is directly under the bottom grill plate which has a small overflow hole that will drip into the bottom drip tray underneath if necessary
Part of my comparison shopping for pretty much any product is how easy it is to MAINTAIN and CLEAN. The grilled cheese mess might have been a good time to mention how to clean the grills. Good review though, as usual.
As someone who now has an electric grill that they keep trying to pawn off to people: get a grill plate or griddle for your stove if you want the pressing just buy a $10 burger press they’ll take up so much less space. Cast iron pan also gives a similar effect and is endlessly useful.
Once again, Freakin' Reviews makes it easy to choose! Thanks for taking your time (and $$) to challenge the manufacturers. When I am ready to add a grill, I know the one to pick!
I guess they're both non-stick surfaces. Or are supposed to be. How was the clean up? I wouldn't pay $90 for either one. A frying pan is just as good. Even better if you like to add other ingredients.
Try a Cuisinart Griddler, it costs more than either of these BUT for the features and the final result, I’ll stay with my Cuisinart Griddler Elite indoor electric smokeless grill and griddle. For an outdoor grill flavor, add a few drops of liquid smoke sold with the sauces in your supermarket.
I'm not complaining, just figured I'd give you a general cooking tip... If you pound the chicken breasts' thicker end with a meat hammer you can make it cook more evenly which results in less overdone/underdone areas of the meat.
The reason Shaq's is more juicy is the floating bottom of the grill. It doesn't press on the food as much as George's. This is why the burger off of George's was dryer. Not only did you have the fat but there was the good juices pressed out of the meat as well.
I have the Foreman, When I cook burgers I do 4 mins, I flip and turn so I have hash mark grill lines, mine turns out perfect every time, I also do thicker burgers.. Does great for cooking brauts.. Thank you for sharing..
I have a George Foreman grill (my 3rd in my adult life). This grill is smaller, doesn't allow you to remove the grills for the dishwasher, and no longer includes the plastic spatula that earlier models provided with the drip tray. After watching this video, I think my next grill (the griddles do wear out after 3-4 years or so, as the Teflon coating starts to flake off, making the griddles hazardous) WILL DEFINITELY be the Shaq grill. I love the auto shut-off feature, as well as the fan to absorb the smoke. When I cook burgers or salmon, the house stinks of cooking smells for a few hours.
I didn’t know about the Shaq grill, but I just bought that exact style of Foreman grill earlier this week. I’ve used it twice so far, and it’s definitely better than any of the classic Foreman grills I’ve used before. I’m happy with it, but I’ll have to keep the Shaq one in mind next time I’m on the market for one.
if you use it often, youll be in the market in a few months. I have that exact george forman and it lasted about 5 months of every other day use before the coating was gone and i couldnt buy replacement plates
I have 2 George Foreman grills. I like the Foreman for hamburger because it does presses out the grease. It's also great for bacon. In seeing your video, Shaq's grill would be good for meats that don't have a lot of grease - chicken or pork. How was it for cleaning? I saw on the Foreman grill that the beef juices hit the heating elements.
I bought the Shaq 6 months ago because, at the time, it was the only one where the grates could be taken out and washed. That has always been my beef 🥴 against the Foreman grills. I LOVE our Shaq grill. It keeps the meats juicy and tender. Very versatile. Try making Quesadillas! FANTASTICO! I also really like the “floating” grill concept so food doesn’t get smooshed and lid closes solidly. Very easy to clean. I often skip the pre-warm phase and just start cooking as soon as I turn it on. I’ve not noticed any problem doing that and I get my food faster.
I bought a George Foreman Lean Mean (knock out the fat) Grilling Machine back in 2001. Twenty years later it's still going strong. The Shaq may be good but my Forman is a tank! I will keep making my grease free grilled cheese sandwiches with George. In a review of this type of machine, I would have liked to see a comparison of how easy or difficult they were to clean. With drip trays underneath, I would have to believe they need to be disassembled to get the grease out from inside.
I absolutely love your reviews! I have three frying pans! These grills have a lot of bits and pieces to clean! Okay rather just clean a pan! My aunt and uncle have the George Foreman, they love it! I enjoy having breakfast in bed. I like waking up to the smell of bacon. Sue me. And since I don't have a butler, I have to do it myself. So, most nights before I go to bed, I will lay six strips of bacon out on my George Foreman grill. Then I go to sleep. When I wake up, I plug in the grill. I go back to sleep again. Then I wake up to the smell of crackling bacon. It is delicious. It's good for me. It's a perfect way to start the day.

As Foreman advertises, 'Get healthier meals in minutes'. It's meant to press the oil/fat out of the meat for reduced calories. It did what it claimed. Also, cleaning the fat out is *much easier* on the Foreman b/c the Shaq grill gets fat in that drip channel underneath the burner (aka massive headache).
Yeah, I remember when the George Foreman grill originally came out all those years ago, that was their big angle... that it made steaks, burgers, etc. healthier because it helped drain out the fat. Over the years, the grill has become so ubiquitous in the market that I think a lot of people just buy it because of its brand name recognition and have forgotten or don't realize that it has this "feature" that they may not really like all that much.
George makes a handle attachment so you can close the grill and it doesn’t smash the sandwich. It used to be in the box. Also. Place the sandwich dead center. Trick with the chicken. Slice down the middle long ways and coat both sides with either you choice of oil or butter. I prefer homemade garlic butter. Worth trying.
I ordered the Shaq grill on 9/6/21 from ShopHq, and it was only $49.99! I can’t wait to use it! I’ll be grilling chicken mostly since that’s all I really eat lol, good review.
It looks like you can swap the positions of the upper and lower plates on the Foreman grill. If that's true then you might be able to set it up so that your grill cheese sandwich doesn't drip through the holes on the plate, for what it's worth.
That's because it's ran at 3am on local stations to fill time, and I have no doubt at least 10 -15 of the 30+ shopping, or infomercial channels DirecTV has running 24/7.
I’d like to know if it’s difficult to maintain the Shaq with its fan and filter. I generally don’t like fan and filters on food prep products because that odor lingers in the kitchen and potentially attracts insects.
Hmmm. I always turned the meat over at 4 mins. on my Foreman grills. Also, turned it so the grill marks were hashtagged. Never dried out my food. I've owned Foreman grills for what seems like my whole life, but in this competition the Shaq grill wins. That spring loaded bottom grill plate is genius. And as I get older and more forgetful, having a timer function is a godsend.
That spring is really under appreciated.
That timer looks really tempting.
But sadly, doesn’t really remove a lot of fat.
@@karinborschman1619 the fat's what makes it taste good!
@@karinborschman1619 that isn't a bad thing. Look up how fat was stigmatized by big sugar. It's no where near as bad for you as almost any kind of sugar is.
This channel is always entertaining. I love cooking, so the focus on cooking tools and appliances is awesome for me.
I worked in restaurants for years. If we wanted fast, we used weights on the meat but it always comes out drier. The reason why the George may have been lighter color on bottom is if the chicken got pressed down into the grates, so the juices didn't drain as well. So then it would steam more on the bottom than grill. YMMV
"Shaq burgers are juicier"
Somewhere Rich Evans is thinking about that juicy shaq meat
I was going to comment this but you beat me to it.
My family had a foreman grill back when it looked like a white dome, with a small plate you needed to put under it to catch greese
Me too! At the time it worked well
I still have it and still use it
Me too, loved it then, love it now!
That's the one I had. The little 2 burger grill, lol. I decided to move up to the newer model and boy was I sad I did. That original one worked so much better. Lol
My family still has that haha
Ya, I wish that he showed ease of cleaning the grill.
@@MartinGiadrosich lmk when you do
The timer feature on the Shaq is kinda weird. You figure it would start the countdown after you close the lid or after it feels that you put something on the actual grill.
Like any cooking I've done, I don't start cooking timers until I place the food on the cooking surface.
Wanted to let you know that your videos make my day. Thank you!
Always makes me smile when I see a new upload notification from our faithful leader
Which one is easier to clean? I have a Cuisinart version and it is such a mess because the drip tray doesn't work very well.
If you EVER try a Foreman, get the removable plates. I beg you. Get them. Otherwise you're in for a nightmare.
Ninja Foodi is really easy to clean.
I think George's grill just squeezes the food while grilling it whereas the shaq's grill leaves more space when the lid is closed so that's why the burger was less juicy on gorge and the cheese squeezed out the bread for the grilled cheese

No shit sherlock
@@deezynutz4742 well I didnt see him mention it in the video but alright, thanks tho
you ever watch a short order cook a burger on a grill, before flipping it, he mashes the juice out of it! That's what the GF grill does the entire time it cooks it. I like its burgers very much, have cooked boneless pork chops and chicken breasts on it too. But I cut the chicken breasts to where they are all the same thickness before cooking. Come out fine.
George's grill is suited for nonfat grilling and deep grilling meat, whereas Shaq's is for keeping the juiciness in the meat.
Sara Fimm he did a review for something called 5 minute chef, basically a small oval George Forman grill, might be useful for dorms if they allow it(easy to hide though with its small size during dorm inspections) but can't fit much on there
Sara Fimm I used to use a clothes iron to cook quesadillas in my dorm room 😄, turn it upsidedown and keep it flat and steady with some sneakers, rolled up towels or make a stand for it, you could put a pot or frying pan on it, there's many TH-cam vids of people cooking with them 👍
I've had two george forman grills, a bigger one years ago and a smaller one now and i love both! i make burgers all the time on it and it's so easy and quick. and on the bigger one i made steaks and other stuff too, worked great
Lay off the burgers, Jason.
@@coryaw95 why?
these are both great for dorm living and/or apartments that don't have a stove/overhead fan.
THANK YOU!!

also i thought there were other foreman Models with hinges that moved ,so that larger items the top lay evenly
Never had a Hamilton Beach grill but I’ve seen the reviews, I’d love to try one but I can’t find any in the U.K.

Was there any difference when cleaning them in the dishwasher? I purchased an inexpensive electric griddle that claims to be dishwasher safe but it does not even fit into my dishwasher. Love the channel, keep the reviews coming.
This is my second one. We have it outside the garage door exposed to the elements yearound th-cam.com/users/postUgkxreK_FUQ74_bylFqCr3y2MHqL3u78-b3r Direct sunlight deteriorated the plastic on the thermostat and severe winds blew the lid off. We found it about an acre away. I bought a new one and I saved the good parts from the old one as spares. Got about 8 years out of the first one.
Another excellent video. God bless you, Bailey and RIP Daisy.
DAISY DIED! :(
Who is Daisy?
@@Steve_in_NJ Daisy was his dog of like 13 years.

OK I will be getting the SHAQ. Thank you for doing these videos. You save me lots of time deciding which one to choose.
Your videos are very helpful thank you
I didn't even know Shaq had a grill, until just now.

I really like my Hamilton Beach with a removable Grid for easy cleaning and washing. I bought it on Amazon in 2017 and it still looks like brand new
Tefal Optigrill for me I get great results from it, downside is I hate having to clean these type of grills no matter which one.
Nice job on all the sports references. Thanks for sharing another great video.
I like the simplicity of the George foreman probably different specks for the uk 🇬🇧 thanks for the vlog 👍
Not sure if Tefal Optigrill can be found in the US but it is absolutely stellar as an indoor grill
Thanks for the work you do and keeping me smiling.
How did they compare for cleaning?
How about which is the best/easiest to clean?
Love your videos!
The reason Shaq's is more juicy is the floating bottom of the grill. It doesn't press on the food as much as George's. This is why the burger off of George's was dryer. Not only did you have the fat but there was the good juices pressed out of the meat as well.
With its patented design, the fat drains directly into my mouth!
I have the Foreman, When I cook burgers I do 4 mins, I flip and turn so I have hash mark grill lines, mine turns out perfect every time, I also do thicker burgers.. Does great for cooking brauts..
Thank you for sharing..
Great reviews! I just wonder which one has the easier clean up?
The shut off feature is a big seller for me. With my Foreman grill, I just ask Alexa to start a timer for X:XX minutes...

Oh cool, looking forward to this one!
As always, thank you for your videos. I really do watch them before purchasing things. Great job.
Great video, again! But how well do they clean?
I absolutely love your reviews! I have three frying pans! These grills have a lot of bits and pieces to clean! Okay rather just clean a pan! My aunt and uncle have the George Foreman, they love it!

It looks like you can swap the positions of the upper and lower plates on the Foreman grill. If that's true then you might be able to set it up so that your grill cheese sandwich doesn't drip through the holes on the plate, for what it's worth.

I’d like to know if it’s difficult to maintain the Shaq with its fan and filter. I generally don’t like fan and filters on food prep products because that odor lingers in the kitchen and potentially attracts insects.
I'm disappointed that you didn't show clean up, I am afraid that grease groove on the Shaq fills up and has to be scraped out.
Hmmm. I always turned the meat over at 4 mins. on my Foreman grills. Also, turned it so the grill marks were hashtagged. Never dried out my food. Quick easy way to evenly cook thick, boneless pork 😋 Never a good idea to walk away from food while it cooks so I was there anyway. If I had a Shaq, I would turn the meat over too.
