Yep those were the pads former company town for a mine not RV park. Kinda like Slab City in that the company just packed up everything and left the foundations. Totally NO cell service even with a booster but GREAT night skies. Saw a super moon there a few years ago. Just amazing!

Was just there the first week of March. Ash Meadows was awesome as we headed south outside of DV on our way back to Vegas. Steam crater was amazing north of Stove Pipe Wells.

This was such a scenic drive through the landmarks in Death Valley National Park. Btw I like how you called the guy a "jackwagon" for not giving you enough space to park. 😂

You didn’t show the reservable Furnace Creek Campgrounds as they are behind the visitor’s center. Bonus of staying there is that for $5 a day, you can use the resort’s warm spring pools and shower. Love that!! DVNP is one of my favorites. So beautiful.

Death Valley is really amazing. If you have Verizon you will not get service in Death Valley but if you have AT&T you can get service around Furnace Creek. I found out the hard way. LOL!! Along with camping DV has two hotels one in Furnace Creek and the other in Stovepipe. There two restaurants as well as gas stations at Furnace Creek & Stovepipe. Furnace Creek has sort of a general store. It's a wonderful place to visit.

I just completed binge watching your videos and am a huge fan of you and your vlogging style. We also own a 2107 Leisure Unity MB (Euro Sport) and love it so much. I would love to hit the road full time at some point and have wondered how comfortable it would be in this rig. Would love to see a detailed vlog touring your rig with emphasis on organization and storage. Keep the videos coming.

Beautiful footage. I think you are right about the reason behind turning the ac off. I had a 3 cylinder car that i had to turn the ac off if i wanted to start quick from a full stop.

This was a first for us--you passed us at 7:50 just before you turned off into Mesquite Dunes! We were the RV and Jeep Rubicon following. Glad you got to experience DV--it's one of our favorite places. It's odd to see yourself in someone else's video.

There is NO better star gazing than Death Valley: Stay as far as you can, away from the "Vegas Lights" and the sky is your Natural "Griffith Park".

Death Valley is the lowest point (elevation) in North America. Yep, it was a little hard to hear you...I might consider a lapel microphone if I were you. Usually that's advised for just one person talking to the camera...see latest "gear" video by cheaprvliving. BTW, I've subscribed...love your videos, Robin!
We were in Israel about a month ago and we learned that the Dead Sea is the lowest spot on earth ... 1800 feet below sea level

I see you have your 1000 subscribers, congrats. I have watched all your videos using my iPad. On this one I could barely hear you with my volume up as high as it goes. You must have changed something. Microphone?Settings? You really scurried through Death Valley fast. Maybe you could do two videos and cover the sites with a little more depth. I like your interviews, you do a great job.

I’ve been mulling over whether this is what my life needs to be like and honestly, you’ve already dispelled several of my fears and I think I am more ready now!
So I saw your cute cat and then thought to ask: how do you manage when you’re out there in the high desert heat without shade and want to go hike or be away from the RV for whatever, how do you keep kitty cool in the RV and how secure is the door to deter intruders? I wonder about adopting a dog to keep me company and be my eyes and ears, but I don’t want to leave a dog to roast in the RV while I’m out hiking, or doing the shopping in a grocery store in Phoenix in mid July.... I would never put an animal in danger so this is a concern.
Death Valley is amazing. Mornings are stunning. I live in Vegas so we don’t get to see starry nights. I have to camp in Death Valley to enjoy the stars. Pictures don’t do it justice. You have to experience it in person to appreciate its beauty. Glad you got to enjoy it. The visitors center is nice and the Rangers have always been nice. The campsite near the visitors center isn’t free, but the view in the mornings is gorgeous. Worth it! Oh, and they filmed various Star Wars scenes there!
Did you make it through Tecopa and China Ranch? Where'd you camp? Great vipe and great free camping and hot springs in Tecopa. Boondockers paradise.
What day did you launch your TH-cam channel? How long did it take to get to 1000 subscribers? You're doing a great job and I really appreciate the information you share.

Creativity RV - Thanks for your reply Robin! If you can explain in your video exactly what the solar covers (ie only laptop and cell or more like small refrig) that would be great because Ive watched other nomads explain solar but not do that part well. You could clear it up for many people and have a corner on that niche ;) I have my little T@b trailer and am trying to get income to where I can get to where you are - on the journey! Also, setting up a blog etc

How do manage your gas? Like if you were trying to pull into a campground that is 7 miles from the main road, how much gas do you make sure is in your tank before you pull that far off? Do you ever get into a situation where you’re running low on gas and there’s no gas station around? That would freak me out a bit
Death Valley is the hottest, but Dead Sea is the lowest. The driest is Antartica followed by the Atacama Desert in Chile.

"DEATH VALLEY" are you ever scared of breaking down in the middle of nowhere...I remember driving through there and there was NO ONE. On the road, and I thought that it was a little ScareY!,, What's your backup plan in cases of emergency?
