One of the most beautiful watches I have ever seen
I have just taken delivery of my second Breitling watch (first one being the Endurance Pro in green) and after reading this review I am super delighted that I made this purchase. I've got the green dial which is currently very difficult to get hold of and with the price increase that takes it to £3900 its an absolutely beautiful watch well worth thew money. Great informative review.
What a coincidence, picked up the exact same 42mm just yesterday and then came this upload today. You know what is the manufacture week and year on my watch, its 07/19 :). Lovely watch and great review. Traded my Colt 41mm silver dial for this. No regrets
Recently bought the Superocean Heritage II B20 in black with Gold accents and Breitling bracelet. Love it. Dressy enough to wear with gold rings etc.
My wife and I visited the Breitling boutique in the Miami Design District over the weekend and looked at several of their watches, finally landing on this one with the green dial. It’s an absolute stunner and I’m so happy to have chosen it. Great review.

Just had to come back here in May of 2021 and say i still love mine. It's one of a modest 10 piece collection the includes a new Submariner an Omega SMP300 and a Bathyscaphe and I still find myself fighting myself to keep this watch from hogging to much wrist time. It punches way above its weight.

Very Fifty Fathoms... Sharp watch. Nice deep saturated blues.
I have had this watch in black with both mesh and rubber strap for 2,5 years and I adore it still. On another note; is the 22/20 notation on the rubber strap just indicating the lug width of 22mm and tapering down to 20mm by the buckle? Because my watch strap from 2018 have those same numbers, and unless it has time travelled it has not been produced this year.
Yup you’re right. 22-20 is the measurement of the lug width and buckle. Tim got it wrong on this one. I’m sure it was an honest mistake.
Tried the green dial on today and it looked stunning. Very tempted to go back and buy it.

And don’t even say :”ohhh it’s dressy one, it’s not a tool watch:(“ be honest with yself, y won’t go diving or any kind of extreme activity with any expensive dive watch! Y’d wear a professional equipment etc...and it’s not Omega or Rolex...cuz it’s pretty same at specs as Breitling
It’s modern world and dive watches for beauty, nowadays
And Breitling just top notched it! I’m not a big fan of Breitling but this watch beats others cuz it’s a gorgeous looking peace with both smart and sport look...
Without numerals on the bezel this gives off a very dressy appearance and becomes a tuxedo diver. That will be convenient when I jump into a pool in a tuxedo and join the swans in the pool at my next formal. 👍🏼

22-20 is strap size: 22mm at lugs, which tapers to 20mm at clasp end. 🤦🏽♂️

I am indifferent about the all polished case. Too blingy and scratch magnet. Otherwise, the watch is badass. Rubber is my preference on this watch, plus it tones the watch down for a more sporty look.

Tudor movement on Breitling?
Yes. Breitling had a deal with Tudor. Breitling got a Tudor movement and Tudor got the B01 Breitling movement.
is better than omega SM diver?
Nooooo no way not even close to an Omega. This is a dress watch that pretends to be a diver.
Its a matter of style, both are great
@@Milofchg oh and the SMP 300 is a true diver. I have both. Both are dress drivers. Try using the Seamaster Bezel when it's wet. Both are great.

the Omega is anti-magnetic and you can se the movement.

Hey, guys! Important question, pls, everyone: BREITLING superocean BLUE or BLACK?
Really liked this one, but the clasp bracelet of the steel bracelet and not having the anti-magnetic hairspring the Tudor has killed it for me. I would want this, but the Seamaster is the better watch by far, this is more beautiful, but not even a seehtrough caseback, all these problems the SM doesn't have, better clasp, inhouse movement, decorated, you can see it, don't even care about the 100m water resistance, but antimagnetic.... come on.... So, I love the Breitling, but don't like the clasp and lack of antimagnetism, this killed it for me, but I would not buy the Seamaster because I love the design of the Breitling so much. No new watch for me....
The clasp on bracelet has been improved like crazy and on rubber is perfect, the movement is not in house but it’s not ETA. Omega has way more problems ugly design and bracelet, a non functional bezel, he valve sword hands as well as that bracelet it’s just nasty, their mesh also is horrendous 3 layers of bracelet before clasp closes. Breitling is the way the go or new 40mm Pelagos

I own this, it's not a true diver it's very diffinily a dress desk diver. It made to wow people not go diving around reefs or wrecks. But if you go surfing swimming or get pushed in the pool or off your boat your fine.
The lugs seem a little too long. Slightly awkward looking.
