With this watch I had a problem that starting a chronograph sometimes stopped the watch. There was a small defect with one of the gears. That required a service. You should just take it in for service as well. I’m not saying it’s the same thing, but it could get worse over time. Best to resolve it quickly. It will be cheaper that way.
You can get a decent discount (15 - 20%) from an authorized dealer. I wouldn't buy a newer Breitling model preowned, or from the gray market. Brands quality assurance isn't the greatest these days. I had to send in a few of their watches for repair under warranty. This watch only has a 2 year warranty, and it simply isn't worth taking a risk for marginal savings.

You can do anything once. Breitling manual says that underwater pusher use is limited to models with magnetic pusher mechanisms. This SuperOcean doesn’t have that. It is best not to tempt faith by using it under water.
Breitling doesn't use silver for their cases or the bezels. You might be referring to the so called silver SuperOcean Heritage. Silver in this case just means the dial color. That one is more expensive than this one because it features an in-house caliber B01. There will also be a difference in price if you go for the mash bracelet versus the rubber strap.
That's a fair comment. When I was buying this SuperOcean there were a few more options to chose from. One of them was a B01 with a silver dial. I just liked the design of this one more. Since I didn't have a 7750 before this one, I wanted to give it a go. And if I'm being honest. I do have a few B01 (and its variants) today. Almost all of them had an issue that required a service. While the few 7750 I have been ticking away problem free. In average they're even more accurate than the B01. Luck of the draw, but still. Yes, 7750 is bulky. It is definitely loud. Also, for some reason its a unidirectional wind. But, it does wobble when you wear it, and that makes me smile. That what this hobby is all about for me :)

It’s just under 17cm. The largest watch I comfortably wear is a 46mm Navitimer. Though that one wears a little bit smaller than that.

That's a fair comment. When I was buying this SuperOcean there were a few more options to chose from. One of them was a B01 with a silver dial. I just liked the design of this one more. Since I didn't have a 7750 before this one, I wanted to give it a go.
