That’s a substantial collection. One of the approaches I use to avoid going broke is to only “award” myself when I’ve achieved a major accomplishment (eg a professional certification, promotion) or life’s milestone (eg get married, last parent passes). This approach will naturally limit my outlay, allow me to save for my next purchase and have lots of time to really appreciate a watch’s significance/beauty ‘til the end of my journey.

I love the nostalgia surrounding your collection. I have Rolexes, Omegas, Tudors and Grand Seiko, but the one watch I take out, wind and admire is my father’s automatic1955 Bulova. I used to pick it up when I was young and listen to it wind when I moved it. When my father passed, my mother asked what I wanted and I asked for that watch which I promptly had serviced by Bulova to make it just as it was. It still makes my cry to hold it and remember him.

I absolutely love GO. To me they are the best value watches in the world. The design and finishing are amazing for the price, even if it's increased in the last few years. Even better, they're only worn by people who deeply care about watches. My own connection started with a friend of my parents who managed to escape to West Berlin before the wall was built. Her family had a home near Glashutte. She travelled to my country years later for work and subsequently set up a luxury goods shop where she sold stuff like Junghans clocks and Braun goods that she imported from Germany, back when that was unheard of in my country. She knew I was watch mad (my grandfather used to make clocks and I started collecting in the early 80s as a kid) and so when I met her years later back in Germany she took me to Glashutte. This was around the time GO was purchased by Swatch, it wasn't that far from its GUB origins and they made movements for Tutima. They had a flyback chronograph with countdown alarm that I remember being the most stunning watch I had ever seen. I was hooked. People talk about Lange but GO was competing with the big 3 Swiss on quality and innovation about 2 decades ago.

@@sdemosi Great story! Thanks for telling it. I agree, it's one of the best bang for the buck. Since they only make around 10,000 watches a year, I'll probably never see another copy on anyone else's wrist.

Jenni, just watched this for the third time. I love your collection, it's clear you have good taste in watches and it seems like your picks are thought through. That Russian one from your grandfather is really cool and I liked the color match to the claret band. If I ever get me a wife I can see a future with, I'd definitely buy her a Cartier Santos, one of the few watch models that's always good taste and classy. I even want one for myself, but the bigger ones for my 7,5 inch wrists are a bit out of my comfort zone right now. I'm a year older than you, but I've clearly chosen freedom, experiences and partying more than nesting up a nice watch budget. But, I dare say I've experienced quite a bit, and got some true stories to tell that most people in their early 30s doesn't... I'm a bit of a writer so maybe someday I make some kind of memoire, for now I stick to my short stories, articles and fishing tales. Also, that Undone, I had to pause the video again to behold it. That's an absolute bomb of a watch!

Is too nice! I'd've called that salmon colored "CasiOaky" more terracotta and partly for the flatness of the surfaces. You've got the perfect version of all all NOMOS Clubs, and even that Oris is nicer looking like that than I thought at first. But that Yacht-Master is really nice, I used to really want the blue-dialed version. I bought the exact but JDM version of your SEIKO 5, I have the Blue and the Silver versions too, but I finally bought the one you've got after seeing yours, along with the unplated version of the SEIKO Tank! :)

What a great video, so lovely to see someone in your position appreciating watches of all calibres and price points. Instead of a box full of unattainable status pieces. Subscribed!

Nice and diverse collection Jenni. Looking forward to the next update! Add a few indies in there and a Cartier Tank would be a good fit! The photo with Kai on the back of the Undone is super cute. :)

Was waiting for this video! As a woman, I am always interested in the watch collections of other female watch enthusiasts. I've always played it quite safe myself and don't tend to go over 36mm (the biggest watch I own is a 37mm JLC Master calendar 140.8.87) and am seriously considering the BB 58. The vintage look and dial look insane and I believe it to be great a value for the price. Guess it's time to go to a nearby AD and see if it suits my somewhat thin wrist.

Really enjoy commentary from Jenni. She's got style and a deep love for timepieces. Favorite video: When she received the 36mm Rolex Pink as a gift from her BF - classic video and sheer bliss captured on video! PERFECTION!

One of the best well rounded collections at ALL price points. Truly shows the enjoyment of the hobby VS prestige or chasing smoke and mirrors.
Your collection is a great representation of who you are! Keep going and thank you for your content.
Really looking forward to receiving the watch roll soon! Eeeek! Very exciting.
Lastly - do you think you’ll do a review on the new Oris Big Crown Pointer Date - Caliber 403? Photos look stunning!

This is a great collection - What i like most about it is you've got everything covered. Prices, brands, functions etc - It's all there. The Yacht Master would be my favorite of the bunch- that's a sexy watch right there! Although i do like the look of the Oris - Also very nice!
Defo more content like this - Ignore any negative comments, not that I've seen any, most would adore a collection this diverse....

Love that your collection literally covers most of the price points, a very inclusive collection. It shows that our community is not full of snobby elitist. I've recently come back into collecting watches (previously had a few Oris, Longines, Tag etc and sold them all). My current 3 watch collections are Tissot Gentleman Open Heart, Longines Record Chronograph and Omega SMP300, love the swatch group brands! My grail atm is the Zenith Defy Skyline Skeleton in black, hopefully I can get it soon! (not into Rolex, AP, PP etc., I just can't justify the cost of them)
