BoboVR S3 pro is perfect for Sim racing. I find it the most comfy of all head straps, plus the battery system is fantastic.

I have the same head strap and it’s great. Very comfortable.

Absolutely, I have a review video in the works and have driven the Nurbs 24 hour race using that head strap. Hot swapping batteries and having the ability to keep that Quest 3 LED green indefinitely is awesome!

I have 2 batteries and the new charger, so i can rotate the batteries when I've started running list and essentially okay wirelessly indefinitely

@@73N5H1 Same setup as me, works a treat. No downtime.

@@73N5H1 Yea I now have done the same. The S3 Pro is awesome stuff. I even keep the batteries rotating when the headset is off so I can be ready with a full charged headset at all times.

This is pretty much spot on. I went the same route, was using the G2 prior to getting a Quest 3, but even though the G2 has a SLIGHTLY sharper image (as you said, in a very narrow range), the Quest 3 is really close, and is actually much better outside of the G2's very small sweet spot. Not to mention Meta software + Virtual Desktop beats that abomination of a software Windows Mixed Reality by miles.

The Quest 3 is a great device. Sure, there are a few things that could be improved out of the box, but right now, it is one of my go-to devices for the rig.

I had the flu (again) at the time of recording this video so please forgive any issues in trying to get my point across. Also sorry @VRFlightSimGuy for calling you "VR Sim Racing Guy", a spin off perhaps in the future 🤣

Virtual desktop is fantastic. Definitely worth $20.

SteamLink/SteamVR is absolutely solid for me playing flightsim on max detail with a 4090, wifi 6e. I've tried weird, no difference visual wise, aside from the tiniest introduced latency. Not sure why others are having an issue with steamlink and steamvr though.

I'll have to give it another go as I've not tried it in a while. Initially, it had quite bad artefacts for me around the edges of the lenses.

in my experience theres more latency than virtual desktop and airlink. But I use wired most of the time

I'm still using the CL and have just picked up a Pico 4. Initially, the CL didn't live up to the hype, but a few firmware updates have made it much better. I'm still in testing but will drop a video comparison soon.
