VR games should focus on single player. 1. There are very few VR headset owners, so it will be difficult to find other people to play 2. Not having servers near your home will make the latency unbearable 3. Other people often ruin immersion, because they don't roleplay and make silly things. It can be hilarious sometimes, but VR is meant for immersion.

Astrobot VR, both titles for ps4, were amazing. Best VR I've ever done, because you can interact with your family and they can play as well while on the couch. We need more of those games.
I wish a dev would fill the immersive sim gap in VR. I miss long, first person RPGs in VR after playing FO4 and Skyrim to death. We need more games like this since BGS can no longer be bothered.

I don't want to come off sounding like I'm kissing your ass too much but why are we not getting more games similar to yours. Playing new games like Dead Space in VR is the main reason I bought a headset. I would have thought single player fps's, especially horror themed, would have been one of the biggest genres. But the number of good ones, I can count on one hand. Hell, I would be happy with a game that focused primarily on the combat sections of HL: Alyx.

I feel like theres still the crazy disconnect between the average gamer and the average game dev that is stopping mass market vr games from being made. The best VR experience I have had so far, was playing through all of Monster Hunter Rise in VR. It just puts you in the spot of the 3rd person camera with 6dof, but seeing that world realized in 3D in front of me was the coolest experience I've had. I want more of that. I think so many devs are at work in their chairs using their brains all day and think that taking a break from that is getting up and gaming actively in VR. I am on my feet all day in a factory at work doing mind numbing repeating tasks. When i get home i want to sit down and engage my brain. VR is SO COOL but nobody is just making stuff for when you feel lazy. When I'm sitting around bored and don't want to move, I have ZERO reason to reach for VR. But thats also the time where i'll do most of my gaming. I want turn based RPGs, I want civilization and RTS games, I want a god game like black and white. I want action games where the gimmick isn't the crazy shit you can do, but just BEING IN VR. I want more excuses to use my headset in more situations.

And a puzzle game.What if i want a fast paced action game that doesn't need me to dive all over my room, or an RTS, an RPG, a shooter, something PVP focused? What if ive finished the game from years ago and i want something new, something replayable, something getting constant content updates? 6DoF and the 3D view of VR adds so much to so many games. But so few games are willing to just let you experience them from within the headset, and are convinced that a VR game MUST use the full extent of VRs capabilities.

Since currently microsoft is doing some partnership with meta(Xbox and quest) i really wish they would bring some games from flat screen to vr. Like Doom(But unlike already existing VR doom, it wouldn't strip glory kills, and remove 90% of fun features)

hi Mike, i need your frankness, im looking to change my Lenovo Ideapad for something that will do the same as now - Microsoft Office etc but I want a laptop that can crunch enough so my Oculus Quest 2 can play all the games that I dont want to wait for until they appear on the Quest - Hubris VR case in point - Can you point me in the direction of a good new laptop that gives me the best of both worlds? Wall Town wonders is the coolest thing I've ever seen period. I was mentally and physically abused as a kid and spent most of my life in my room reading books on dinosaurs and presidents. This game mixed with A.I. and some fuzzy logic could have been a whole village of friends for any kid not to mention can be formatted as a living encyclopedia. Imagine a dinosaur kingdom in your bedroom with a cave man or woman that can interact with the dinosaurs as they teach you about them. Why not have each president starting with George have his homestead appear on your bed or floor while they teach you about there lives. This game is just scratching the surface of what its format can be used for. You could look up at a wall in your bedroom and see display boxes that are made through online purchases with Albert Einstein living in it and you take him out so he can walk around in your room teaching you. Maybe you could open another to have captain kirk and the whole star trek cast explode into your room to teach you about space. The possibilities are endless and you would definitely have home schooling covered when you could pull characters like shaggy and Scooby doo out to take part as your teachers, earning yourself a Scooby snack with the correct answer lol. Thats one heck of a can of worms these guys have opened here.
Ok. WoW VR i would try. Complete game mind you. Without the shop to kill immersion have it seperately on the phone or whatever. Would gladly pay for that monthly.

I wish you could use your ps store games on the PC if the game is on PC I buy it on the PC, but I want PSVR to do well so if it let me play the games on both platforms I would buy it on the ps5. The same goes for non VR titles too.
Please, do society a huge favor: don't 'break out' your VR headset when friends and family visit. Instead, ask them how they are and actually listen to what they say. Have a real conversation ffs.

Yeah, they have sanitizing wipes to clean the headsets after each demo. Sometimes I take my own facial interface but I forgot this year []-/
