  • I went to a new crawl spot in Mesa called Falcon Hill and I had a really great time driving the Origin Clone with Mike's Mashigan. Before I did the crawling with Mike I started the day with the Capra since most everyone else in the group were running hardliners. I had replaced the stock Capra shocks with shorter ones from the SCX10ii in order to help bring down the COG.
Everything was working out pretty good until the top eye of the right front shock broke and a quick trail fix didn't help. I already have plans to fix the Capra and I'll be back to try again!
Thanks for watching and be sure to come back for more Cactus Crawlers RC!

Thanks Mark, yeah they are definitely a bunch of characters! Those cut cabovers are really great hardliners (one Unimog, one Jeep) I wouldn't mind doing a similar build one day! Thanks for watching brother, I appreciate your taking the time to check out the video!

Thanks Arty! Yeah it's still pretty hot here and that day it was like 110 degrees, so we made sure to get out early and done by 8 or 9am!
