I'm still crawling a rr10 2 bomber. Not much in the driveline stock. Biggest downsides are cage weight, steering angle and belly clearance. But still gets into and out of some narly places.
Always love 1V1 comparisons! Mods aside, pretty much what I expected. The Optic is a competent crawler, just not at the same level as the Capra. Pick the truck that suits your needs but, really, can't go wrong with either truck! Thanks for the video! 👍

My capra 4WS is an absolute GOAT 🐐 completely vanquished out with vanquish f9 portal axles f and r with incision overdrive gears and vanquish 3 gear transmission reefs 900smart servo front amd rear with vanquish kmc tank 1.9 with brass inner wheel clamp rings and ssd brass portal knuckles and covers front and rear. With incision links. And gearhead lights like the koh in the rear, not really a fan of the h10 myself but the capra is one of my favorite rigs!

This is a showdown I can appreciate as I have a Capra and was wondering if it would be worth the time and money to get an Optic. It's nice to see the hydraulic ram steering working and the Optic out crawling. I'm thinking another VRD Carbon for a project next, but next year I might be planning a scratch build of an H10, lots of 3rd party goodies showing up. I just recently used my Capra on some serious rocks having done the 4WS conversion to it and it was so much fun. I was really interested to see the Optic and I agree it looks good, but it just doesnt seem to do anything better than my Capra, Ecto or Bomber added to that they are crazy expensive over here in the UK so I won't be getting one. Love your videos, very jealous of that amazing landscape you have to play on!
Nobody believes me but I've found the absolute best battery for the Capra .... Spectrum Smart Lipo 1300 mah 3S 11.1 V 30C .... run time over 40min. Fits so nice with room to spare. Harley didn't want to believe me, but I took a chance a few years ago and I'm glad I did. I also use it in my Ridge Rock. I'm very happy with the whole Spektrum batts./ Chargers/batt. checker. For Tires ● Mud Slinger XL 2.2 ● RC4WD ● Very Soft Sticky. Please give them a try .... thx for the video
I'm considering selling my H10... haven't had time to even use it yet. I put metal wheels on it and that's it. Also gonna sell the Fordyce because it has never seen dirt either.
I’m surprised that I prefer my H10 over my Capra. Fusion se, raw 500, some over drive hardened gears up front (haven’t killed the rear yet). Riding on some 100mm desert lizards and treal wheels/Treps. It’s a killer, for what it is.
Just got some really bad to the bone stuff for a baby Capra I don't really have a place to crawl I'm more into the smaller stuff right now but I think I'm going to go ahead and build it cuz it has a set of badass tires with it awesome Deluxe transmission and 380 revolver from Holmes hobby that's got his version 3 ESC lot of killer stuff I just got to get some axles and some links would you recommend just running plastic axle housings with the brass upgrades and big boy Overdrive I tell you now I have a nest my smaller stuff to be able to run 37 percent I like it a lot it does have its downfalls especially when you're trying to pull up something super straight up and down it's like you're having to drag that rear axle too much

whats wrong with a Revolver 2500kv and H,H. v3 ESC compared to a fusion esc? Not a fan of the length and the weight of the fusion.
It was cogging and overheating my ESC and motor to where it would no longer drive forward my fusion doesn’t do that.

Looks like the H10 could use a touch more overdrive. 27/8 gears in the front.
I think they both have their place, Capra performs better but the H10 looks better

I think the h10 just looks way better than the Capra and you can’t beat the way a vanquish truck handle’s weather it’s crawling or trailing
Foams on the vanquish look too stiff
