Used to do a lot of trailing I was in my late teens early twenties. Had an 89 Nissan 4x4 5-speed. Had a slight lift and some nice trailing tires. Great little trailing truck. Nowadays all the old trails are gated off. Half of them were back then but we didn't care. Lol. Good times.
Small world, just came across this video and started watching. Yo, David! What's up bro!?!
Wish I could have made it out there with you guys when yall went out. Great stuff! Keep em comin! - Nikko and Lee
My old stomping grounds! Hope to be back soon to ride some trails! I haven't been that way since I got a Jeep
Nice vid man! Good times wheelin’ with you guys! Until the next trail...
It was a good trip, yall keep coming up, it always a good time!
Great video! I’m about to start building a 2014 FJ Cruiser I just got and can’t wait to hit Old Bucktown Rd first.
Rad!
Nice video, love seeing the water crossing!
Yeah, its good fun going into boat mode
🌊☔️ looks like the LJ’s running good👍
The offroad parts work well, the drivetrain still has a few electrical grimlins.
Foggy oil,
Rusty grounds.
Yes!
Keeping bubba where you from, you look familiar,I’m in Woodstock and just did those trails last weekend in the power wagon
I'm from Buford, I own Black Bear Off-Road.
Nice Jeep set up! Looks like fun out there. Bet it was cold in Feb! Just subbed
Thanks! It was cold and wet, but lots of fun.
Hello from Lookout mountain
Hello Bro!
Bubba, don't forget to change your diff.oil after all that water crossing....
I'll check them, but my inner seals are new and my breather tubes are way up high. Thanks for suggestion though!
It's not a true north GA road trip without QuickTrip and Ingles, lol
Amen
My chocolate teddy bear ❤
I'm guessing the first one with the creek crossing is a no go for a stock wrangler? The others were clearly fine but what about that one?
Depends on the rain, if its been dry for a week its do able.
@@JeepinBubba thank you, I'll watch the weather and go during a dry spell
Could you list the names of the trails please? And recommendations for first timers in Georgia?
Cashes Valley, Old Bucktown Rd, Dawson Forest are the 3 trails. Charlies creek is a good beginners trail as well.
Great video! Quick question, what trail was the thumbnail picture taken on?
It's in Dawson forrest, kind of hard to find, but it's still there and legal.
Do you think it’s safe to camp in any of this trails? I wanna go with my wife over there and get a few days in the weekend with the nature, just two of us . You’re videos are awesome! Congratulations!
I wouldnt camp at cashes valley, but its safe to camp at buck town or dawson forrest. You can check out this link on my website, I share as many trails and camp spots as I can. www.blackbearoff-road.com/adventures
Jeepin Bubba Thank you so much!
You have the pinpoint for cashes?
34.85949 -84.42526 tread lightly most of that area is private property
Nice video bro
Thanks bro
Where was the thumbnail picture taken?
Dawson Forest
I'm working on lifting my 2000 Honda crv so I can take it out on some easy trails. Gonna be about that 2wd life for a little while sadly.
You could take it up the easy side of tray mountain.
Are there any more trails in Georgia cut out for more extreme trail riders
Beasley Knob
I was just curious exactly what trails yall went on. Just got some new tires and would love to start exploring this area.
Cashes Valley, Buck Town Road (nimblewill), Dawson Forest
Do you think a “stock” 4Runner TRD (bigger all terrains and a light bar lol) could make it through cashes?
Yes, only if it has a light bar though. Your gunna go in mid july or august when the water level is low.
Hi guys, do you mind sharing that trail location? We went to Cash Valley area last week and it wasn’t as fun as yours.
Haha, it all depends on the water levels for sure. Email me at info@blackbearoff-road.com and I will send coordinates.
Could you please tell me what trails y'all did? Thx
Cashes Valley, Nimbewill, Dawson Forest
@@JeepinBubba Thank you. Those water trails looked cool.
Can I run the ga traverse in a stock 2020 tacoma ?
yes
the Traverse is fairly easy but rain can make things a bit slippery
What trail is this and where is it at? I didn't catch if you said it or not.
Cashes Valley, Old Bucktown Rd, Dawson Forest . All in North GA
@@JeepinBubba Thank you.
NP
Where is this trail located. I love creek riding
this was cashes valley near blairsville
Could you post the names of the trails ? I live near McDonough Ga. and have been looking for trails to take my old school Grand Wagoneer. Thanks
The trails are cashes valley, old bucktown rd, and dawson forest. Here is a blog I wrote about some great overland trails and it covers part of old buck town. blackbearoff-road.com/blogs/recent-travels/the-old-mans-boot-route
You still liking the magnaflow?
Love it!
What is the name of the first road? I can't find Cashiers Valley. 3:24
It's Cashes Valley, not cashiers
Where did you get in at Dawson forest?
We didn't, gates were closed. There is a trail with a road name to left of the northern entrance that we ran.
Man I wish I could have come and rode one day I’m gonna make it up there heck it ain’t but 2 hours north of me
Yeah come on
I’m in gainesville 👍
Team_suv same for me I’ve wanted to go it isn’t even far
Is this Charlies creek
No, its cashes valley
Hey man I'm in Georgia & what trails are you on
Cashes valley, nimble will, and dawson forest

Hey man I’m from Atlanta just got a 2005 Jeep 4.0 Rocky Mountain edition with a 2.5” lift. I’m trying to find some places to go. Any recommendations on a decent trail?
Well these 3 are alot of fun, if you check out some more of my videos you will see us do beasley, charlies creek and a bunch more local places. You can also check out aome of our write ups about trails on blackbearoff-road.com/adventures
Whats the trail called towards the end of the video around the 8 min mark?
Thats Dawson forest
What size tires and how big of a lift do you guys have?
35x12.5x17 Falken MT, 3.5" Rock Krawler X-Factor Long Arm
The river crossing looks a little deep. I only have a stock jeep.
You could do it right now while were having a dry spell. The water goes down quite a bit, that day it had rained for 3 or 4 days straight.
Where can I find this trail?
Well it's 3 trails total, all are in North Georgia.
Is therena specific one your interested in?
All of them if I can take my WJ on them.
So this is Cashes Valley, Old Buck Town Rd, and Dawson Forrest, they are easy to find on google maps. Cashes Valley isnt hard but has high water crossing, the other two are real easy.
You think a side x side would roll on this
The first trail wouldnt be good for a sxs, but the other 2 they would do just fine.
Where is this at in ga
Cashes Valley, Old Bucktown Rd, Dawson Forest
I’d like to come ride ga I just don’t know the trails like I do in Florida
They are all easy to moderate trails. I sometimes go with subscribers on trail rides and I usually announce it on my monthly updates.
Looks like a bit of Fla. too. Lol
Yeah, alittle muddy here at the moment
N cashes Valley in blue Ridge or cashes valley Ellijay or cashes valley cherry log?
Elijay
What’s the address, I wanna go
Theres not really an address but if you look up dawson forest, old buck town road, and cashes valley, you will find all 3.
Jeepin Bubba thanks when you go again I can go?
Sure thing, I will plan a trip for the spring and announce it. I am riding up near max patch, nc on friday.
What trails are these ?.
Cashes Valley, Old Bucktown Rd, Dawson Forest
What is the first trail's name ?
Cashes Valley
How you guys keep frames from rusting on tj wranglers?? Driving through water gets inside the frame right?
In the south we dont worry about rust too much, however it doesnt hurt to keep the clean, painted, and some guys use the mud slick product from amsoil
