@@johnspurrier0001 agreed! I’m way more comfortable in something lifted and with bigger tires which is what the jeep has now. Thanks for watching and sticking with it. Lol
I drove it last week. I live in knoxville. I have a 2003 tj rubicon 33 with 3 inch lift . It was tuff and washed out right now . I mean it is spring to be expected. But no running cable
I wheel with a bunch of idiots who do this as a night ride...looks fun. Side note, get a winch blanket and keep the kiddos back from the area. If the cable snaps, it's like a gun going off; it doesn't care who is in the way.
Rich Wyatt I have a winch blanket but we unfortunately didn’t use it. Need to get better at that. Thanks for the comment. I like to ride during the day to get better camera footage.
Trail 16 stock with street tires in yellow jeep was not a good idea. I guess they figured that out about half way thru . Cudose for doing it. Did you do any damage. Put some 33 with a 3 inch lift and still a great daily driver and you won't have any issues on 16. That is what I have on my 2003 tj rubicon and it is also k y daily driver. Tires and lift are a must of you off road.
It definitely wasn’t the smartest decision but we made it. No damage on 16. The yellow Jeep got a little bit of damage on 51 but he did surprisingly well on the 31” duellers. We just did 16 again a couple of weeks ago with a lift, 37’s and bead locks. Definitely easier this time around and no winching.
First time at Windrock in a $50k+ daily driven vehicle. I'd say a little. Now it's lifted, geared and on 37" beadlocks. We wanted people to see our real reactions. lol
You guys are bad asses! stock jeeps with kids on board on a sick trail. I'm impressed! What an adventure.
Been there, done that. 2 years ago with my stock Rubicon 2019 2 door. No spotters. Been going off road since 1984 with my C J 7, which I still have.
Great video. That tree you winched from is scary. Lol.
MrJeepmed yeah. It has been used a few times huh? Lol
id say that stock Rubi did a nice job, quite a machine. Cool video
We did that trail at night 5 days after y’all did it. Fun times...
Matt Tipton stressful at times but I’m glad we did it. Our Jeep is lifted and has 37” tires on beadlocks now. It would definitely be easier now. Haha.
Nice, man. Time for some upgrades, gets very addictive.
Yeah. It’s lifted, geared and on 37’s with bead locks now. 16 isn’t an issue for it at all.
A bit late on my comment but thanks for the video. Thinking of a trip down there in August and I wanted to see what I'm getting myself into
That trail looks beast.
Prelude Dude Si I hear that it’s a lot worse now. Some of the newer videos show how bad it looks.
@@LJ_AF the jeep group I ride with they were just down there over the weekend
Prelude Dude Si did you ride with them? I’m wondering how much it has changed.
@@LJ_AF unfortunately no I didn't get to go. I was waiting for parts for my jeep. Definitely would love to go next yr
@@preludedudesi5208 I hate that. Be sure to get the badge of honor app and check in to get your free Badge from Jeep when you go.
Y’all from the Greenville area? I noticed the green turd guy has a Clemson 4wd shirt on .
We live in Seneca/Clemson area. Look up Palmetto State Jeep Club on Facebook. The White Jeep is definitely not stock anymore.
@@LJ_AF Sweet,I live in Simpsonville!
Was this your first time off roading like this? I only say that because this sounded like me when I did Dickey Bell lol!
Yes it was the first time in many years. And in a stock Jeep that was over 50k. Lol!
The dude in the Sahara as got some cajones doing that with highway treads LOL.
@Marty Altizer I agree. But he went everywhere we did. On those 31” Duellers!
@@LJ_AF is the white rubicon stock?
@@martyaltizer2431 yes at the time it was. Now it’s lifted and on 37” M/T with KMC beadlocks. Much easier. lol
@@LJ_AFJust goes to show how capable a stock Jeep is.

It was on our list but after hearing about washouts from rains not sure it's still a good idea for our mostly stock 2006 Grand Cherokee.

That's funny,,,TREE!!!!!!,, hey you are in the woods
It was definitely comical looking back.
The part that you had to be winched up was still trail 16?
Yep. Trail 16. There is a bypass for that section now.
Great job
Thanks! I know we were rookies then and probably sounded ridiculous at the time but we wanted anyone new to off-roading to see that it can be done.
Fun video to watch. Which direction did you run this, south west to north east or reverse?
Hey Richard! Thanks. It was an experience for sure. We ran it from South to North. We took trail 2 to Trail 16. Hope that helps!

Looks like a synthetic rope so no winch blanket really needed.

Is this a free public road? Or private?
It’s at Windrock Park. It’s around $30 per person per day. The place is huge and totally worth it!
the country's largest privately owned offroad park
73,000 acers
$27 a day per person, or $109 a year per person
You think a rubicon 392 can do this ? Stock.
Not without winching the stair steps.
y'all a little nervous? lol
