The video is precisely structured, easy to follow, the presenter is very eloquent and explains things nicely. Well done, keep it up! You just gained a subscriber!
Thank you!!!! :))) I’ve watched tons of videos in order to use my XLR mics, which I love. Your video is the only one I’ve seen that explains how to keep those mics and connect them. Thanks a million.
What I"m interested in is why the King Bee in the explanation segments sounded better than the Shure SM7B connected to any of the other devices. O: Ah well. Good demonstration covering the different interface types (six, including the two bananas). Would be curious to see how the Boss Gigcaster 5/8 compares to the more expensive Rodecaster. I'd also probably go Yamaha AG-series over MG-series for non-live events (I bought and returned an MG10XU due to chronically low USB output, and kept my Alesis Multimix 4).
I have a solo scarlett interface, but my microphone is a dual dynamic microphone, so I can use it as a USB or XLR. When I just put plug in the XLR option though, the microphone doesn't power on at all. When I plug in the USB together with it is does, but then I have horrible feedback. How do I fix this? The microphone is a Bietrun YXM09 btw.
Hi, Im getting what seems to be bad audio recording from electro voice re 320 through shure mvx2u. Recording in garage band and i just can seem to eq it enough to sound good. Would you know why?
Not sure this great video is for beginners lol. What EXACTLY do you recommend for narrating a self published book on Amazon? I'm old and do not understand all of this technology. Thank you in advance.
Great video. One question, if I purchase the YAMAHA MG10XU as you recommended in a previous video, would I no longer require the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 4th Gen USB Audio Interface?
I needed this video! Quick one, my audio interface just decided to give in, and I was using it to connect to my mixer for a podcast. What other option do I have to be able to record in the interim till I manage to buy another audio interface?
Really informative and helpful video, thank you so much. Regarding the inline interface with the condenser mic, you say you go into your settings and enable Phantom Power--what settings are these, where can I find them? Are they within OBS or the system settings, and what should I be looking for?
Can you provide some options that don't require drivers and software... essentially plug and play... for my personal setup I use Mac, this isn't an issue... However I would also like the ability to use with my work PC (Windows) but don't have admin rights to download software/drivers , but really want to upgrade my audio quality for my conference calls, and presentations.
The shure mv7+ has a usb-c connection and an xlr connection. If you set it up at home it will save your settings to the mic. Then if you connect it at work via usb-c it will still have those settings saved to the mic. I’m not sure if this will work for what you are looking for but it’s worth watching dozens of YT videos to confirm 😂
Thanks this is so clear, I understand finally!! Very articulate
Thanks, saved me from the mistake of buying the wrong solutions, and the explanations are very clear!

This is a fantastic video, great info with a simple and precise presentation! Thanks!
Pretty much sums everything up perfectly, well done

Bravo to you sir. Gained a subscriber for this clear and concise video.
Great video and it made my choice of getting a Audio Interface that much easier.
This is exactly the info and education I was looking for as a newbie to recording on iPad w Garage Band. Very pro and easy to understand- thank you!!

So I actually have the Sound Blaster X4 and is it okay for me to plug in with the Shure MV7 by using the XLR to audio jack cable?
Thanks, very informative!
Thank you so much. Great video.
Ah. I just bought the XLR to jack. I want to use a microphone that I use for singing. Will that work with the Audio Interface?

Can i use the tulip output on my mixer as well to connect it?
wtf connecting my microphone to my computer more expensive than the microphone itself
Very nice video thank you very much

Very good . Thank you

I have the same question @kettner
I HAVE THE BEHRINGER uphoria 404 will that usb go to the p.c. also

Anything you connect to your PC will require a driver, unless you’re using a headset mic of some type… but XLR is not an option .

Thank you very much for this video.
Question, is this capable of connecting to a games console, PS4 or PS5?
Thank you in advance.
I think you’d need a hdmi audio extractor first.
