I ordered it a few weeks ago. This is the best 2S O3 Cinewhoop I have ever owned. I am satisfied with both the power and flight time . Most importantly, there is no jello, which is perfect for my commercial shoots.
I have it since some weeks. flying on 750 batteries. I'm amazed about the performance of this little thing, indeed reasonable for freestyle. also the footage i can get when flying cinematic is amazing. fits in every pocket, doesn't disturb people.
@@djdubzFrom memory I pretty consistently get 4.5 to just over 5 mins on the naked O3 Flylens. My flight style is more cruisey freestyle, but I do also fly it fast and do powerloops on some days. I charge my 750mAh batteries to 8.7V and discharge them to 7V.
You're absolutely right about the battery setup. It's a pain in the ass switching the little cheap plastic straps. It's an amazing little whoop though!!!!
This is the baby brother of the Geprc Cinebot30, and it is amazing. wow does this thing fly like a dream for a 2s lightweight O3. received it yesterday and have about 10 packs in on it so far. went with the lite O3 and lite cam (like the one reviewed here). This is my new favorite for zipping around the property and through the trees.
I like the camera mounting on the FLylens 85 and it looks to be a good flyer. I'm currently flying the Mobula8 with an O3 unit and I'm pretty happy with how it performs. Maybe a little jellow and propwash and the flight times are a little short but other than that I like it. I thought about getting the FlyLens as well because I like the camera mounting and the led-ring is also a cool feature, but I'm a bit worried about the durability of the frame, especially the way the O3 air unit is mounted on the bottom in this flimsy plastic casing. I'm holding off on this one untill I get some long term reviews.
@@Tphive I’m afraid the O3 will melt the pla when it’s too close around it. TPU could work and would be more durable and better protection for the O3. They should have used the TPU for the VTX-cage and not for the battery strap. I would have preferred a normal battery strap instead.
You could probably get a kit for cheap and try that! There is not a lot of inertia so yeah less protection but should be fine for normal use and crashes
Nice, good video, do you have a follow up video with your "upgrades" or modifications? And do you know other 2s drones with o3 that can do even better in freestyle flying? Thanks a lot ❤
I have dome questions hopefully you can make a video, because you dont have any video about it, im new to fpv in looking to buy a drone but i dont know which one, i want a drone that can go high up to skyscrapper and not loose signal, also be able to last long on battery, and is it better to get this eskeleton drones or get the dji avata? And what size should i get does size matter and why? This 2 inch drone looks cute but only lasts for 3mins flying time, are all drones like this? Can you make a buying guide video and talk about all this.. and give some recommendation drones, and what is jello?
That's a really nice idea for a video and I have to make it! How to start with fpv! Imho starting with an AVATA is the fastest way into getting to record nice videos and learning to fly, it has a lot of safeties built into it, but always be careful and don't fly in crowded areas! I will make a video with a few different paths Jello is vibration distortion in camera, looks super bad when recording video
Personally I would take the LED strip out and glue duct foam around, maybe some underneath the o3 canopy as well, the foam itself weighs next to nothing.
Would love to see a flight with DJI's log profile and the exposure locked. Would be great to judge what the maximum quality of the camera is. For now it doesn't look so good.
Great video, as usual. You mentioned the option of using a Naked/Bones GoPro on the Flylens 85, would you say that's actually viable? Or would that with a full size O3 be too heavy to be worth it? I'm considering the Cinelog 20 or this one, love how quiet the FL85 is. The CL25v2 looks great too, but I already have an Avata, so that would be a little redundant. Then an Explorer LR4 to round out the group.

Due to his pavo20 review I have upgraded from a pavo pico. The o3 Pavo Pico with 2s just felt under powered. The Pavo 20 with 3s and 2 bladed props felt so much more powerful and in control.
