BOY O BOY O BOY!!!!! Thank you Sooo much for making my life Extremely better yesterday and the days to come by designing all three of the TPU Battery mounts... I was so frustrated trying to just get the Damn mount off... at one point I almost threw it across the room.. Like you, I also had a Fly Lens 85 laying around in many pieces from countless crashes in the past and forgot all about the little fellow and batteries. I have so many 5" and 6" freestyle Quads that I've been flying, I just forgot how fun and fast the 2S configuration is. I have GNB 450 and 530 and 850mAh left in a box. Thank god I had them all at storage V But Dude does this little buy Rip... So light and quick. I remember the fly lens 85 being pretty good but this little guy is at a different level and I've been flying 8S on my other quads and this still seems quick . Sorry so long.... Just want to thank you again. If you own the FLYTIMES 85 these TPU mounts are a must have....
You can easily replace those rubber dampeners with a piece of string or fishing line. You can simply pull them through the hole. Was much easier than I expected. There are youtube video’s on the topic
Keep the dampen board. Whenever your quad is about to crash, toss the board and it’ll reduce the damage…………….. oh that’s for shipping container to prevent it scrambling around. XD Great video! Video is so pretty to look at
For sure. Takes a while to get use to. Due to its true X frame design and ultra minimalist prop guard, and super light.. definitely helps its performance without the full ducts like regular cinewhoops. Only thing it might be fragile and easy to damage the camera. So we all gotta try not to crash this one too much haha! 🤣
Great video. Which would you get if you had to choose 1 - Flylens 85 o4 pro or Flytimes 85 o4 pro for Cinematic, flying around people, and freestyle flying?? And do you think the flytimes 85 offers enough duct protection?
If you were to fly around ppl very often, especially gap them, and do less freestyle less outdoor cinematics, definitely go for ducts such as the flylens. If doing more cinematic, freestyle, or indoor work (with no ppl) flytimes is the better solution. It flies very good with its true x and ductless style design. Definitely flylens ducts is safer around people, and more compact design. Flytimes has those metal guards and tpu bumper is VERY spaced out. So when it crashes or bumps into something it will take a really really hard hit to actually reach the prop. But as for hair or skin etc. not too sure, I’d trust ducts more if you wanna gap some people ! 🤣
A vista is possible, however the nebula pro part I’m not too sure. The metal part that holds the camera seems perfectly sized for 18mm width for the o3 naked camera while i believe the nebula pro is 19mm. Maybe check the website and see if they have a different camera adapter 👍
I owned the flylens 75, I think that had smaller props so it won’t be a fair comparison, but flytimes85 does have longer flight times and handles very very well
I dib on purple and pink on yellow anodized aluminum. So nice! Definitely the quad to take to countries that have regulations for sub100g Better than Pavo Pico
Great review. Makes me want to buy one. Best reviewer for sure!!
Thanks Greg!
I bought 1 just can't figure out what goggles work with them .
@ If it is the O3 then pretty much all of the DJI goggles will work. Goggles V2, Goggles 2 and Goggles 3.

Hahaha awesome man!! No problem I love reading long posts!! Happy to hear the new mounts helped you out too!!!

Nice review man
Thanks man!

Thanks Kibby!! Tried my best. Wish the weather was better but too bad haha.
One caution - if you brick the ELRS Rx, that's it - no way to unbrick it. (I just finished soldering on a Tracer Rx.)
Sick quad. Looked hideous at first but the reviews all show it performing well. I’d like one at some point. Thnx for the tpu file.

Interesting design. Like the cnc parts and frame. But expensive 😢
Yeah understandable for sure
Mine has a HD 03 G4 , is that dji?
Do you reckon you can install a vista unit in this with a nebula pro camera ?

can you fit 2.5" props on this thing? It looks like they might fit!
Haven’t tried! I’ll check in a bit
Just checked. No it won’t work.
@@PattyFlipz bummer, i still ordered one. I really like this design!
Tbh, you don’t need the 2.5” prop. It flies really really good on the 2” 2s.
2.2 is maximum
How does it compare to the Flylens? Flight times handing etc?
quieter and more performance with the downside that it doesn't have leds :D
I prefer the Fly times though!
I owned the flylens 75, I think that had smaller props so it won’t be a fair comparison, but flytimes85 does have longer flight times and handles very very well

Better than Pavo Pico
@@kibbycabbit Yeah go for it man! It flies really well. Most likely due to it's almost open prop style design, true X, and featherweight design.
Probably cheaper than one of your frames
Haha almost
