Been looking for a micro to practise acro flying especially on days with shitty weather and stumbled on your channel. Really appreciate all the info and breakdowns, the quality of your videos are top tier. Subbed!
Tests in windy weather are the best tests. Thanks. I ordered FlyLens 85, it has already arrived at the post office. I'm going to pick it up tomorrow )))
@@Rimzler i ordered mine with the normal O3, planning to be flying indoor for practice and follow cam for MTB since its so small i can bring it to a ton of places! do you think thats wise to keep it with the enclosure, or would it not matter in a crash anyways?
Very nice and professional Video as always! I really like how you also focus on the quiet factor, many other reviewers skip this part and I’m really curious about this. Can you maybe do a cinewoop ranking sub 250g? (And maybe with quiet information 😁) This videos tend to get a lot of views as well, so good for your channel 🤗
Thank you! I have fixed gain on my mic so it's a scientific comparison of noise, I just have to make a compilation! I have been meaning to make a comparison for a while, but there is always a next company sending yet another sub250g cinewhoop, so have to postpone the comparison to include the new stuff! Probably in January they are going to calm down with this new releases and will finally be able to do it!
Hey man , thanks for great video really it's fun to watch your sub 250g drone videos and i have a Q. Which drone should i buy for some cool shots outdoor and indoor "Flylens 85 or iflight Defender 25" what is your idea about this? Thanks from now for your answer!
Depends how much noise and what camera you want to carry, flylens for O3 is nice and is super quiet, defender/ cinelog25 for o3 or naked GoPro are nice and will have a bit more power, but make considerable more noise and heavier
Love the videos. What do you think between the flylense 85, darkstar and the cinelog 20. I have a cinelog 35 and I fly it inside pritty good I have tune it for alot of control, but the noise is insane.
Flylens 85 is my fav so far, can do Indoor and outdoor, only for o3, cinelog 20 or c20 from axis are if you want to carry a naked GoPro, but they make a considerable amount more noise
@@Rimzler thanks that was what I was thinking. I have a moz7 and the cinelog with o3 and I do comercial work and I think with good color grade its pretty good. So Im looking for something that dont make that much noise and can go anywhere. Thanks again por the answer love the videos I dont miss one.
Damn i will be at work but will try to find a place to hide out and watch! Love your reviews bud! I've heard so many Great things about the 85. I'm just a little worried about how the camera is out front without any protection. The only thing offered is a little TPU that snaps onto the front of the camera. Okay so you protect the lens but what about all the goodies on the inside of the camera like the gyro. I would think if that took some good hits it would mess things up inside. I know this is supposed to be a cinewhoop, but you're able to do much more with these drones if you want, that's when I would crash and the camera would take a hit😂😂😢😅
Ahahahah sneak in the toilet, always work in movies😂😂 the thing is o3 has a super wide fov, so if you put at the back it gets the ducts in frame, if you put It forward is exposed, I don't even bother putting protectors lol I always think "flying ain't about crashing" So better to stuff to work good the 99% of the time I am flying, than have a little bit more of a chance the 1% of time I am crashing! And if that happens you can replace only the front part! On this small drones they don't have the inertia to do a ton of damage to the camera, the most that can happen is hitting a rock and scratching/smashing the lens, but in all the o3 I've tested only scratched one and was able to buff it out with cerium oxide
It's called cerium oxide, it's a powder used for polishing glass, you mix a tiny bit with warm water and becomes a paste you can buff, I've used to polish lenses and stuff, but mind if you buff too deep you start first eating the anti reflective coating (you will get a ton of flares into camera which is not always bad😂) and if you dig deeper you alter the geometry of the lens lol In most cases it's good while waiting for replacements ahahah
4pm in scotland..... its been dark for an hour hehehe. really love this little quad, wish i could send one to TailSpin RC he'd love this, he is analogue though.
Good video!! I'm looking and looking for my best Crossfire option and one that is tiny for indoors especially and I'm between the Mobula 8 which is bigger (12cm?) and this little one which do you think would be better for a newbie? I have my 2 goggles like yours and an lr4 explorer this will be my second o3!
Lascio sempre i pid di fabbrica nelle recensioni, al massimo cambio i rates aggiungendo un po' di expo se i droni arrivano troppo bruschi (uso pollici su gimbal piccoli ho bisogno di più risoluzione)
You would've gotten longer flying time if you would have charged your batteries, you started both packs at 7.6. Most likely the storage voltage they ship with
Ahahahha talking while I fly I get distracted, yes normally going super low hurts the battery, but on this o3 2s drones the o3 will shut off before you can do real hard damage, still not ideal of course
I am testing motors but not have been impressed so far, avata is a pain cause you can't tune it, have to find the perfect motor and that means buying a lot of sets and try😂
@@Rimzler ok bro keep going i'm very interesting. Somebody just use axis flying motors only and look like a good update but not night and day. For now i'm very happy with avata and motion 2 controller for what it is, just a faster fun quad than Mavic. For freestyle another quad IS better choice
@vgrang6201 another quad will still be a better choice for Avata, so far I got it to fly much better yes but it is not a freestyle drone, rather a kind of long range cinematic flier, very good for capturing footage in landmarks and do some cinematic freestyle manouvers
Lol. After watching your videos it doesn't make it easier to decide on which drone to buy. 😂 They all look pretty good. I'm really liking the Darkstar20 because of your review but now i don't know what to get. 🤷🏾
@StrillLife darkstar is one of the better looking, it's not bad but can have a little jello at times, and is a little heavier than flylens (it has full o3 tho) Also shows a little bit of ducts at low cam angles That's why I feel like the flylens is a better option
@@Rimzler understood. Thanks for taking the time to clarify. I don’t like that loose feeling dual props gives although it may mean more flight time. Also the Darkstar is considerably cheaper. Which also has my attention. Thanks again!
@@Rimzler also, I failed to mention I have a Cinelog 20 already. I was looking for something a lil smaller and lighter to fly from outside to inside of bars, clubs, restaurants, coffee shops etc while I travel. The cinelog 20 is a little too big and heavy for this and my skills. Especially if ppl happen to be around. The Newbee 75 drone (forgot the name) looks great for inside but too week to fly outside too. Looking for that sweet spot. For something light and maneuverable in tight spaces. The Darkstar may not fit the bill either. I'm just making an educated guess. I had problems flying the old bigger Mobulas in the house. I used to love flying the Mobula6 and UK65 my the house. But of course no HD or 4k footage YET on drones that size.
@@Rimzler I know its Italy because of the Olive trees. Haha. I see, may I know why is it much better? The flight feel/response or the convenience of the larger drone?
I believe this one with naked o3 will be super silent, but all the 2s are really stealthy If you are looking to get one I suggest the flylens 85, it's silent but also flies great and records with no jello
Ahahhaha don't know, they gave me a time to release the video and TH-cam asked if I wanted to Premiere, still don't understand what is the purpose of it😂
Grazie e buone feste :)
I think the analog version of this quad is the best thing for its price, but the 03 version is like a quad with a tumor... the heavy and boxy 03 unit hanging off the bottom is exposed to potential damage with every landing. the 03 unit is just too heavy for a 75mm to fly well. the analog version is a good boy, its super fast, responsive, and has a 5mins+ flight time... just get some good analog googles with reliable antennas.
The reason why o3 is a thing is because it records good video, and at this scale is super fun and useful Naked o3 makes a lot more sense, even if it's more exposed and fragile that way, but for shooting indoors at parties etc it's incredibly appealing
@@Rimzler personally I would aim for a slightly larger quad to carry an 03 unit, even the slightly larger flywoo cinerace 20, or the hex 1.6. and, the way the cage hangs down on this particular unit really puts the 03 at risk, even with soft landings you are landing directly onto the 03 unit. just my 2 cents, don't count analog out, analog can give good video and be fun too. (and significantly cheaper)
@greedfox7842 yeah the flylens 85 is more versatile imho, bit still the o3 is exposed, I don't crash a lot so will risk it! Have been flying 10 years analog, for recording you need a naked GoPro tho, for fun/viewing purposes is fine
@@Rimzler yes I bought same model based on that video. You need to go with o3 now there and bring really smooth remake, that would bring the nostalgia. Greetings from Slovenia
