It is _criminal_ that you have so few subs, honestly. Your terrain is some of the most striking on YT, and you really deserve more recognition!

Think the same, i build Terrain for several years and your style made me change my old bildungs. We started a new Game, Burrows and badger. And the hole Board is gonna be influenced by the Style of your buildings

Great video! I love your clean aesthetic and style, and your painting technique is great - it's a subtle variation on the 'standard' approach and I really like the results. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful creation and superbly done. For the less artistic of us when can't draw is it possible to get a printable template?

Thank you! There's been a lot of interest in templates for this piece so I plan on creating a file that can be distributed.

How would you recommend going about building the board you display these terrain pieces on at the end of videos? I was thinking a cocktail of plaster, modpodge and water? Slap it onto a thin XPS board?

I create my bases by coating them in glue, then coarse sand, then painted brown. Dry brush grey so the big rocks pop out, then cover select areas in flock.

@6:38 are you doing that for every slice of single? That's the part you see on the roof right? And the lines on the big part, are the bottom edge of the single?

    • @OkayHobbyTime
      @OkayHobbyTime  2 ปีที่แล้ว

That's right! Texture on the top is reapplied for every slice.

Thank you! I use Adobe Illustrator for my templates. Mostly because that's what I'm used to.

Any way to get the template?
Thanks for the build! I've been scratching my head for a simple elegant design for a mosuleum for my Halloween one shot. Thank you!

    also a super cool video!
since i'm new to the hobby, and only understand english with difficulty, i would still need the dimensions of all your videos to be able to recreate all of your buildings: D
did you write it down somewhere and could you give it to me? would be nice!
    cheers, fraenky

@@OkayHobbyTime so you already have my interest: D
do it like someone else here on youtube and collect around 7 to 8 dollars- then 100% get rid of them: D
I would buy them from you in advance for the money: D
