Scratch Building an Ork Tree Fort from an Aquarium Decoration

- To close out Orktober, I built this tree fort out of an aquarium tree and a bunch of other gubbins. This was my tallest build by far, and I had a blast doing it. I got to try a bunch of new crafting materials and techniques as well as test out my new 3D printer. Overall, I think this is a fun start to my ork terrain set.

Pretty cool. I love the combination of 3D printing and crafting.
Fantastic Job. Love the use of aquarium terrain.
Thanks!
Man I just love looking at the whole process and how the idea starts taking shape before my eyes. Damn amazing! Thanks for sharing these :D
Thanks! If you wouldn't mind sharing the channel with others, I'd really appreciate it. It provides me with a ton of motivation to try new things.
Nice!
Spaceport terrain/a space port table is what I want to see someone tackle
That would be a cool table. I'll start looking into it.
I love this build. I also would really like to know those cargo nets are made from. They would be great on some of my projects.
It was a fabric mesh that my neighbor gave me. I have no idea where she got it unfortunately. Sorry about that.
amazing man, i love the way you are using easy to find stuff to make these pieces. I can definitely see you becoming the next Bill Making Stuff or Boylei Hobby Time.
Thanks! I definitely try and keep my build accessible so that anyone who feels inspired to make their own version of my builds can get good results without breaking the bank.
Haha I just bought that same tree at a thrift shop
It's a really versatile piece.
Needz mo Grotz
Indeed. I'm working on getting my Ork army ready for Armies on Parade this year, so I'm sure we'll see a few grots
it started of so nice ly and then ???? yep three d ........
Would it have been better if I had made those components from bits from other model kits? I'm working on a piece about 3d printing in crafting, and I'm curious about your view.
@@forgeofsagas yes it would have bin i prefer not to 3 d print because it feels like the creativity gos lost to me
Fair enough. I just don't see a big difference between using plastic pieces premade by someone else and plastic pieces that I make. Thanks for your response though, I really appreciate it.
