    You make this look so clean and easy ... I don't have a proxon cutter yet so what takes u 10 seconds takes my slow ass hrs ... I can't cut a straight edge to save my life lol

      Haha, thank you. And it's good to get familiar with a knife. It comes in handy while crafting, even with a Proxxon.

    This was a satisfying watch. I build in a very similar way. However, I try and cut as many corners as possible to speed up the process. I love your attention to detail and patience

    Looks great. The OSL and matching candle flames were the right way to go. Very cohesive piece

    I want to find away to make this acept cut the circle in half and put in a thin piece of plexiglass or see through plastic in order to drop an led diod behind it with a watch battery. Having said that your paint skills really did make that thing look like it was glowing

      Adding real lights is always a fun idea. Good luck with the build!

    Your black undercoat you don't use mod podge or glue? I always do out of habit, but I wonder how much it matters.

      Depends how much wear and tear the piece is going to get. Most of the time I leave it out and it's ok. But if it's a game board or something that I know will get beaten up-it helps.

    Amazing build! Could you describe your Resin printer setup? How do you deal with ventilation, do you just print with an open window or do you have some sort air-venting system in place?

    • @OkayHobbyTime
      @OkayHobbyTime  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! I was super cautious when I first received my printer expecting a ton of odor based on everything I've read. Surprisingly, it's almost odorless unless the lid is off. Even then, I find the IPA that I use to wash the models more harsh than resin. When ventilation is needed, especially for longer foam cutting sessions, I open a large nearby window and wear a 3M respirator.

      Hey there! Similar to my other builds, this is made entirely out of XPS insulation foam. For the small printed details, I'd recommend checking out the site Thingiverse.

    Where do you buy your foam? It look like it's in great shape. Mine from home depot looks like it's been used as a punching bag. 😂

    • @OkayHobbyTime
      @OkayHobbyTime  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Haha, I get all my foam from Home Depot as well. They treat the foam good at my store!
