Love the pipes and 3D printed bottles. Would be cool to see some resin in your next video!! Very cool you have blue-prints for sale now to support the channel. Keep up the great work!
Thank you, Jordan! Glad you enjoyed it. Stay tuned for a resin build.
Wonderful build, my man. 👍🏻

Thanks Steve! Glad to hear that.
Awesome as always. It is pleasure to watch you build and paint stuff. A huge inspiration for me. Please dont stop. ;)
Thank you, Piotr! Glad to hear that. 😀
The moss is my favorite part ❤️
So good. Your aesthetic really reminds me of Warcraft 3, and I so want to try my hand at it for high fantasy!
Thank you! All those years of playing WoW are probably helping with that. 😀
@@OkayHobbyTime hahaha, yeah, that'll do it! They look like they'd fit right into the Human starting area!
Really loved this build. Feels like it's part of a small town, or just outside a settlement. Awesome work!
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Love it. 😍 Thanks for sharing. 😎🙌
Thank you! 😀🙌
Incredible. Can’t wait to see your subscriber base grow and get the recognition you deserve
Thank you, Eric! It's appreciated.
Love it !
Thank you! 😀
This is incredible!!!! You are so very talented, inspired to try and craft a building :) Thanks so much!! Cheers from Canada
Thank you! Happy to hear you're inspired. Good luck with your crafting.
Another outstanding build & video but I expect nothing less! Haha no pressure.
Thank you, Wulven!
Ah so nice!
Thank you, Kristina!
Looks incredible! Love the still/barrel.
Thank you! 😀
I love how all of your buildings go together thematically and how colorful they are! I want to visit them so much!
Thank you! Glad to hear that 🙌
Happily purchasing the template as a way to support you. Thanks for the content!
Thank you, Daniel! The support is appreciated.
@@OkayHobbyTime quick question: how thick do you make your walls? .5 cm?
@@Dsisiv About 3mm. Depending on the foam, it's still quite strong at this thickness.
I have nothing to say other than wow!
Thank you! 🙌
Trop bien fait jadores ☺
Thank you! 😀
hey my friend! and as always, even if it sounds monotonous and hackneyed: awesome video! :D always nice to see something of you after a hard day of work and to relax! keep up the good work! peace, fraenky
Thank you, Fraenky! It's always appreciated. 😀
@@OkayHobbyTime 😍🍻👍
Potion Seller! I am going into battle, and I need only your strongest potions!
You got it!
I think I'm the only one that picked up on this meme!
My potions are too strong for your traveler.
Just found this channel and love your build style! Great work! Side note, where did you get the window stl? I suck at making windows and those are exactly what I need!
Thanks-glad to hear that! And the windows are from Thingiverse under "medieval windows"
as a game developer, i'd absolutely love to scan these in and have them as assets. You ever thought about digitalising your assets and putting them up in the unreal / unity marketplace?
That's a fun idea. I've looked into it a bit, but at the time the quality wasn't that good. I'm sure it's become much better since!
Really cool build. I would love to build one myself. Where can I get the stl files for the doors, windows, sign, and barrel handle?
Thank you! And they're from all over. Check out Thingiverse, there's a lot of free files to choose from. I find MyMiniFactory to be the best for paid stuff.
Loving this piece - it is inspiring me to get off my rear and make my own alchemist's shop. Those 3d printed windows and doors...do you have a link to where I can find those stl's by chance?
Thanks! Glad to hear you're feeling inspired. Here's a link to the windows: www.thingiverse.com/thing:3646814 Doors are from a company called Cast n Play-it was one of their paid monthly releases.
This is really cool so I’m going to buy the template. Is there a place to buy the stl for the doors and windows too?
The windows are on Thingiverse under "medieval windows" and the doors are from a town terrain bundle from a company called Cast n' Play. Have fun with the build!
This is amazing and I love the colors. Why do you use wood glue over a craft glue?
Thank you! The glue I use is quick dry wood glue. I find that it provides enough working time and also dries relatively fast.
Saw the link for the potion file prints but not the other windows and doors
Hey, windows are from Thingiverse under "medieval windows" and the doors are an edited version from Cast n' Plays town pack.
Hey!!Cool video! Could you please tell me. How do you use it in your games?❤
I use it in my town settings as a line-of-sight blocker for fantasy tabletop wargames. Otherwise, it's a nice centerpiece for role playing games!
I’m loving the low poly look. What program do you use to create your templates? I’ve been wanting to try to do the same thing for a long time I just don’t know where to start.
Thank you! I'm using Adobe Illustrator since it's what I'm most familiar with. Any free alternative would work just as good.
@@OkayHobbyTime Awesome 👏 thank you!
Do you sell the 3d printed doors, windows ect.,? Great work
Thanks! And those bits are from other creators. The windows are from Thingiverse and the doors are from the company Cast n Play.
how do you keep your foam cuts clean and straight and not cause the heat from the machine to melt more than needed? I am just starting out making buildings for my campaign and would love any advice you would have for me. much appreciated.
The first step is to make sure you're cutting down the foam into smaller sizes with a utility knife. It's easier to control this way. Next, you need to experiment with what heat works best with the thickness of the foam you're cutting. If the wire is melting the foam too much, turn down the heat. It's better to cut the foam slow to get a crisper cut. Patience is key!
What do you use to design the templates? I tried using gimp & making a one inch grid to snap to but I wonder if you found an easier way?
I use something very similar, Adobe Illustrator. I don't think it's intended for making blueprints, but it's what I'm most familiar with.
Where do you purchase your xps foam? Ones I have used in the past don’t do great with exacto knives
I get it from my local hardware store, Home Depot. It's found in the insulation section.
Where did you get the STLs for the doors and windows? I love those and would love to use them in my builds!
Windows are from Thingiverse under "medieval windows". Doors are from a company called cast n' play which I then modified. Good luck with your build!
@@OkayHobbyTime thank you!!!
How is your proxxon rip fence not wobbling all over the place when you use it? I am always struggling with that piece...😅
This actually gives me an idea for a short video-thanks!
@@OkayHobbyTime Alright, now you got me excited!
Fantastic video. Question -- what size are you printing those doors at? I actually purchased the Cast n' Play town set with this door included, but when I test printed it looks a bit on the small side. The scale of your door looks different (and much better...) -- any chance I could get the LxH in mm?
Thank you! The default size is a bit off for my scale. The doors in the video are resized to about 47mm by 26mm. Good luck with the build.
@@OkayHobbyTime Awesome. Thank you! I figure those windows are scaled up a bit too. I was able to locate all the prints, except that sign! Where in the world did you find it?!
I couldn't quite understand what you used for moss. Can you explain that a bit more?
Hi there, it's a simple combination of coarse flock and PVA glue. You mix them together to create a paste. Make sure it's not too thick or too runny.
what did you use to organize your hobby table. did you make those compartments? did you buy the inserts?
Hobby-zone make them
Hi there, they're from a company called hobbyzone.pl. They come flat packed and require assembly.
Where do you get the MDF guides for the proxxon?
Hey! They're from a company called Shifting Lands. They do a bunch of jigs for the Proxxon.
What's the brand of pastels that you use?
"Gallery soft pastels" is what was used. Any soft pastels would work though.
Do the templates come in svg?
Hey! Not at the moment, just PDF
What PC program do you use?
I use Adobe Illustrator for my blueprints. Although I think there's free alternatives that could be better suited. I only use this since it's what I use for my full time job.
This build looks really good… but my god you could’ve done so much more with the moss, I would’ve added so much moss and vines, and maybe some hanging herbs like in botw. Good build tho
Thanks! I love the super mossy look as well. An idea for a future build for sure.
Wer kommt von dem Kopi?
FOME "I can't beleive its not resin!"
Haha, thank you! 🙌
“Out of foam”
“I’m using 3d printed material”
Right…
Haha, "Creating a potion shop out of mostly foam and a bit of plastic" doesn't have the same ring to it. Thanks for watching!
