Can I proudly say that I haven't skipped a day since Jan 1? This is a huge deal for me since I have tried to do the 30 day program every January and was never able to keep up with it. My body was such a wreck that everything hurt intensly and most moves would invoke an asthma attack and I'd have to stop. This year I said "too bad. Im doing it." Every time Adrienne would say "focus on what you feel" PAIN! "Find a nice comfortable seat". TORTURE. "Find what feels good" NOTHING! Even laying on the floor in corpse pose hurt terribly. I swore at poor Adrienne during the lives and while she was all zen, I was gritting my teeth and grimacing. Sort of defies the whole purpose of yoga. BUT NOW.... although I'm still laughably bad at the poses most of them don't hurt any more and the last time I had my lungs checked they tested NORMAL. This is HUGE since I've been on disability for 12 years because my lungs were dangerously weak. Big changes are on the way, I think.

I struggle with a chronic illness too so this comment really is inspiring for me, hope you continue to improve every day 💜

I love greek mythology, reading about it is one of the only things bringing joy to me at the moment and each time Adriene says "achilles" it's like a tiny magical moment for me and I gotta smile a little...I've been practicing alongside all of you for a long time, I started because of my severe scoliosis. Back then I couldn't really balance on one leg (which I still can't do sometimes cause no two days are the same) but now I usually manage to wrap my hands around my achilles for a brief moment in standing splits 🫶🏻
I almost didn’t! But then the discipline of almost 2 years daily yoga meant that I did. And thank goodness!! Love you Adrienne ❤ love the growing love I have for my body and my self, thank you thank you 🙏 ❤

I feel like these balance-focused sessions are a good barometer to determine how I'm doing overall. I was struggling a bit through the session today. I feel very unfocused and filled with anxious energy; balancing postures that may give me few problems most of the time, I had some difficulty with. It felt like just as much a mental exercise, as it was a physical one. I got through it, though! Great job to all of us who tried.
I’ve been through a stressful period and my body just froze up. Doing this today made my body creak and pop in places I never thought possible, and more importantly, helped me find some peace amongst the turmoil… thank you Adriene. You’re the best!

Last two days I had to deal with the worst kind of coworker, constantly nagging and criticizing everything I do and often just being rude to customers. She got me so worked up today that I had a constant headache and couldn't think of anything else than having mental arguments with her. I am just so happy to have these videos to come to on days like this. Your loving gentle and fun attitude ist the antidote for me ❤
It's been a LONG time since I caught a new YWA practice when it first came out, probably years. I (finally) finished Breath, & the July calendar just so happened to line up perfectly. I've stuggled staying consistent with previous calendars, but I think this one'll stick! I'm honestly so thrilled to be back practicing with you all! 💜

I’m in the throes of perimenopause and dealing with lots of mid-life issues... Sometimes my life feels like a constant barrage of ‘shoulds’ coupled with conflicting information - I should be lifting weights - yoga alone wont cut it anymore… I should be eating more protein - I should be making fats my biggest macros - I should be time-restricted eating - I should eat intuitively… I've been practising with you since 2020 but have not made as much time for yoga in recent weeks and this practice today reminded me why I fell in love with your videos in the first place. I love how you savour the movement. There's no rushing. Or pushing through poses. I have time to align and relax into the postures. ATTRACT ⚡ | August 10, 2024 | In the month since we last did this great practice, I lost my four legged yoga friend and have been quite tender hearted. It took a little more out of me today than the last time as my energy levels haven't bounced back just yet. But I did it, I feel better and now I'm going to head to the beach with my family where I'll do my best Savasana and hopefully let the lake breeze chase some of my blues away. 🙏
Blessed Beloved Beauties! Delight Day - 1 was amazing! It has been an experience of healing vibes and balancing vibes, too. I didn't make it to the mat until 11:15 P.M. EST, yet I'm so glad I came. It's better late than not at all. The past few weeks have been off since instructing 3 - courses in 1 term. I am challenging myself to show up everyday this month to return to self care. Thank you adriene and all behind yoga with adriene. I’ve been doing yoga with you all for years and through many changes in my life. This is my first practice after my grandma has passed and I feel a little more alive.
I am grateful for the morning workout. I used my block without instruction that helped me with balance postures. I liked the push ups and need to do more of those on my own.
Have fallen out of this wonderful habit for three months or so after some tumultuous rapids in the river of life and this has brought me so back, thank you for having the consistency and heart to be there for everyone who forget to be there for themselves every now and again!

Wow! That an absolute pleasure that class was. After a week abroad and not practicing, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to slip back into my home practice without difficulty. This class was absolutely perfect for reengaging my body - and to my own surprise, my body responded wonderfully. Thank you! ♥
After 14 days off from doing yoga .holiday, i thought that i would struggle. I was fine..need to lose those extra pounds gained from the food and drink from my holiday . Today’s practice was beautiful. As always, momentum for my days only appears once I have already started. One lesson I hope to take away from today: once started, most things are not as bad as they seem. It is simply the first step of showing up that is most difficult and today I did. Okay, this was absolutely AMAZING! My glutes and legs/thighs burned, and my abs were super engaged throughout the workout & burned at the end. I'm currently recovering from a cold, and this was the perfect workout because it was challenging and sweaty, but not too much! THANK YOU, Adriene!

Last two days I had to deal with the worst kind of coworker, constantly nagging and criticizing everything I do and often just being rude to customers. She got me so worked up today that I had a constant headache and couldn't think of anything else than having mental arguments with her. I am just so happy to have these videos to come to on days like this. Your loving gentle and fun attitude ist the antidote for me ❤

It's been a LONG time since I caught a new YWA practice when it first came out, probably years. I (finally) finished Breath, & the July calendar just so happened to line up perfectly. I've stuggled staying consistent with previous calendars, but I think this one'll stick! I'm honestly so thrilled to be back practicing with you all! 💜
Summer has come and gone and I am still enjoying this practice as much as the first time I did it.
This is one of my favorite flows so far! I love the energy of it!

I’m in the throes of perimenopause and dealing with lots of mid-life issues... Sometimes my life feels like a constant barrage of ‘shoulds’ coupled with conflicting information - I should be lifting weights - yoga alone wont cut it anymore… I should be eating more protein - I should be making fats my biggest macros - I should be time-restricted eating - I should eat intuitively… I've been practising with you since 2020 but have not made as much time for yoga in recent weeks and this practice today reminded me why I fell in love with your videos in the first place. Thanks so much, you are so appreciated ❤

I love how you savour the movement. There's no rushing. Or pushing through poses. I have time to align and relax into the postures. ATTRACT ⚡ | August 10, 2024 | In the month since we last did this great practice, I lost my four legged yoga friend and have been quite tender hearted. It took a little more out of me today than the last time as my energy levels haven't bounced back just yet. But I did it, I feel better and now I'm going to head to the beach with my family where I'll do my best Savasana and hopefully let the lake breeze chase some of my blues away. 🙏
Blessed Beloved Beauties! Delight Day - 1 was amazing! It has been an experience of healing vibes and balancing vibes, too. I didn't make it to the mat until 11:15 P.M. EST, yet I'm so glad I came. It's better late than not at all. The past few weeks have been off since instructing 3 - courses in 1 term. I am challenging myself to show up everyday this month to return to self care. How was everyone's experience? Best wishes all! 🦋❤️🦋

I am grateful for the morning workout. I used my block without instruction that helped me with balance postures. I liked the push ups and need to do more of those on my own.
Have fallen out of this wonderful habit for three months or so after some tumultuous rapids in the river of life and this has brought me so back, thank you for having the consistency and heart to be there for everyone who forget to be there for themselves every now and again!

I have an injury on one of my toes so doing the side planks were very quick, but I feel energized to start this new month!

Wow! That an absolute pleasure that class was. After a week abroad and not practicing, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to slip back into my home practice without difficulty. This class was absolutely perfect for reengaging my body - and to my own surprise, my body responded wonderfully. Thank you! ♥
After 14 days off from doing yoga .holiday, i thought that i would struggle.
I was fine..need to lose those extra pounds gained from the food and drink from my holiday .
Back to the madness of every day life and work.
I need these yoga moments to help get me through the day.

Today’s practice was beautiful. As always, momentum for my days only appears once I have already started. One lesson I hope to take away from today: once started, most things are not as bad as they seem. It is simply the first step of showing up that is most difficult and today I did. Okay, this was absolutely AMAZING! My glutes and legs/thighs burned, and my abs were super engaged throughout the workout & burned at the end. I'm currently recovering from a cold, and this was the perfect workout because it was challenging and sweaty, but not too much! THANK YOU, Adriene!
Adriene rocks. I wish my tablet had the 'clapper' because when we go to wide legged squat i want to pause the video for a minute or two to just stay there. Feels great. Thank you Adriene
