I bought Tunic for the Nintendo Switch as a physical copy and A Shirt Hike for just 3 bugs on the eShop (the regular price in the sale was 5 or 4 bugs I think) so I’m happy that I got these two games also because I wanted to own Tunic‘s physical copy for a longtime so yeah I’m glad I finally have it in my Switch Game Collection ❤️🦊
I remember renting this game, when I didn't know how to read, and not really being able to play it, but being thrilled, having been thrilled, by seeing the 3D Mario, in the commercials.
I remember discovering this show 15 years ago, and it has been such a joy to see how much Johnny has grown not just for his youtube, but also just him as he has gotten older. The journey to quitting smoking, when he made his movie, and just the sponsorships he has gotten from some game companies that he choses. I love his way of telling stories and just his love for the pc engine also resonated with me as well, and he also introduced some of the other pc engine titles that I did not know at the time. To more years to come Johnny and also just bought a shirt, and to be honest this is the first time I've bought a youtuber's swag, but you deserve this as my appreciation to you. Thank You John for all that you have done, and for sharing these stories.

I've never finished a Star Ocean game but when I played Second Story R's demo it gave me such a great feeling of nostalgia for that era of RPG. It's presentation is so charming and the 2D sprites were adorable and really brought me back to games like Lunar. I ordered it a few days ago to be my Christmas game this year and I'm looking forward to really diving into it. I'm also looking forward to your future video about it!

Star Ocean is great. Everything about it is great. The soundtrack, the gameplay, the characters. Everything. One of my favorite games of the year hands down

definitely couldn't resist having Super Mario RPG in my switch library either, one i have recently been playing and enjoying on the PS5 though is Noob the Factionless...wasn't expecting much from it but it has its own charm.
I remember getting Super Mario RPG from my school store. It was one of the best gaming experiences i ever had. I picked up Street Fighter 6, Star Ocean: The Second Story R, Sonic Frontiers, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and Star Ocean: The Divine Force.
I picked up my Mario RPG from Gamestop Canada because they had a promo of an extra 50% trade credit and traded 2 games that I paid $20 for and that was enough to pay the pre-order off and still had 10 bucks left over. So I basically paid $10CAD for my copy using that promo.

Last video game i got recently is radiant silvergun for the switch from lrg,johnny.Speaking of dungeon explorer there's been times i've thought how great it would be if TG16 came to nso.Just imagine if dungeon explorer had online for multiplayer.
I just took advantage of some pretty big Black Friday/Week sales. I picked up the Mega Man Z/ZX Legacy Collection, Metroid Dread, Star Ocean 6, Soul Hackers 2, and Tales of Symphonia Remastered. Considering those last three games are still relatively new releases, I was really pleased with the amount of money I saved. I haven't worked out the exact numbers, but it was in the hundreds of dollars in savings.
I’m stocking up on turbo grafx/pc engine games right now. I just picked up Y’s book I & 2, PCE works sapphire, castlevania rondo of blood, star parodier, final lap, salamander, devils crush, and space harrier. I don’t even have a system to play them on until analogue ships my duo. Can’t wait.

I have the same feeling about Rogue Galaxy. Super nostalgic game, great graphics but I just couldn't get into it. There's just something about it though that I have fond memories of and can't let go of.
That “mortes planar parade” looks like a spinoff from Planescape: Torment one of the seminal CRPGs of all time, its been released on consoles as well, a fantastic game

I know your not big on puzzles, but this game is very masterfully crafted and unique. Some of the later puzzles are giving me goosebumps. Loving it.
You are seeing this again, but thank you for the recommendation of Ys 8. I took so long to finally play it but loved it! Also I have picked up both modern and retro games. Ranging from NES to switch and PS5. Finally broke 700 games in my physical collection and got a SNES back in the collection giving me 14 different consoles to play games on original hardware. The highlights being Spider Man 2, Super Mario Wonder, Mario Kart 8, and Castlevania: Lament of Innocence. Though NBA Jam on genesis is also a highlight. Ill just stop here as I think all the games I got are highlights haha.
My most recent pick ups are Super Mario RPG, assassin's creed mirage, pocky and rocky reshrined, metal gear solid ultimate collection vol.1, robocop rogue city, and spider man 2. I really enjoyed mario rpg, like it so much I got hooked on it and beat it in a couple days what a hidden gem of a game (I never played the original SNES game)
I always try to collect anything from Falcom sometimes even two copies lol Lacrimosa is one of the best things they’ve ever done.. I’m now trying to get through the ps5 version.. It’s more elaborate than Vita but I’m a little rusty with the controls.. The novel looks like a must buy and of course I’m hoping for some kind of follow up with Dana in the future.. Best girl imo
I am playing Star Ocean Second Story R and it is enjoyable. I keep leveling up like crazy and it's addictive even though it's so easy to beat most enemies now lol. I got that Lacrimosa of Dana book already and now I'm more excited to read it :-)
Just recently finished Tales of Arise Beyond the Dawn and now I am playing a game that I ran across in the Playstation Plus game catalog and found interesting enough to download and play and now I love it - Eiyuden Chronicles Rising.
Some new games I bought recently are Sonic Superstars, Sonic Frontiers, and Shenmue 3. I didn't get the chance to play Sonic Frontiers when it was initially released but I'm really impressed with it so far!
My local game store was doing a Black Friday discount thing so I was able to pick up a big haul of games for way less than normal. He was already doing 25% off, but at checkout he asked me to roll a D8. I got a 4 and he said he'd take another 4% off. I was happy about that. XD I'm glad to have a good local game store.
Oh yeah, it's a great thing. I can stop by every once in a while and see if anything has come through in town. It's great when you live in a pretty rural area and there's like no more game stores anymore...It's convenient to be able to stop by while in the middle of other stuff.. Also, the owner is just a nice and good guy. I enjoy chatting with him about games for a bit whenever I stop in. It's good when a lot of your game loving friends have moved away and you don't get to chat very often.
Never played Super Mario RPG.. bought it.. after 1 night I went out and upgraded to a Switch OLED finally, as I take this game with me everywhere now. Its great.
Bought my first Amiboo. Kirby one, I just needed some extra for free shipping on Amazon. Cute little figure. :D Also bought Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Mario Party Superstars for the Switch. And I've been playing Super Mario WOnder, I freaking love that game!

Mythic GM emulator is awesome for tabletop games. Yes it’s supposed to replace a GM…so you can play solo or use it as a GM, but it’s a really good source to randomize events or anything with die rolls.
I picked up Red Dead Redemption on the Switch and been having fun playing it again, and getting to play Undead Nightmare for the first time. Also playing plenty of shoot em ups on the Switch right now, especially DoDonPachi Resurrection and Devil Engine.

I always try to collect anything from Falcom sometimes even two copies lol Lacrimosa is one of the best things they’ve ever done.. I’m now trying to get through the ps5 version.. It’s more elaborate than Vita but I’m a little rusty with the controls.. The novel looks like a must buy and of course I’m hoping for some kind of follow up with Dana in the future.. Best girl imo
I am playing Star Ocean Second Story R and it is enjoyable. I keep leveling up like crazy and it's addictive even though it's so easy to beat most enemies now lol. I got that Lacrimosa of Dana book already and now I'm more excited to read it :-)

Just recently finished Tales of Arise Beyond the Dawn and now I am playing a game that I ran across in the Playstation Plus game catalog and found interesting enough to download and play and now I love it - Eiyuden Chronicles Rising.

Some new games I bought recently are Sonic Superstars, Sonic Frontiers, and Shenmue 3. I didn't get the chance to play Sonic Frontiers when it was initially released but I'm really impressed with it so far!
My local game store was doing a Black Friday discount thing so I was able to pick up a big haul of games for way less than normal. He was already doing 25% off, but at checkout he asked me to roll a D8. I got a 4 and he said he'd take another 4% off. I was happy about that. XD I'm glad to have a good local game store.

Oh yeah, it's a great thing. I can stop by every once in a while and see if anything has come through in town. It's great when you live in a pretty rural area and there's like no more game stores anymore...It's convenient to be able to stop by while in the middle of other stuff..
Also, the owner is just a nice and good guy. I enjoy chatting with him about games for a bit whenever I stop in. It's good when a lot of your game loving friends have moved away and you don't get to chat very often.
Never played Super Mario RPG.. bought it.. after 1 night I went out and upgraded to a Switch OLED finally, as I take this game with me everywhere now. Its great.

Bought my first Amiboo. Kirby one, I just needed some extra for free shipping on Amazon. Cute little figure. :D Also bought Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Mario Party Superstars for the Switch. And I've been playing Super Mario WOnder, I freaking love that game!

Mythic GM emulator is awesome for tabletop games. Yes it’s supposed to replace a GM…so you can play solo or use it as a GM, but it’s a really good source to randomize events or anything with die rolls.

I picked up Red Dead Redemption on the Switch and been having fun playing it again, and getting to play Undead Nightmare for the first time. Also playing plenty of shoot em ups on the Switch right now, especially DoDonPachi Resurrection and Devil Engine.
