The variation of dumbbells is extremely useful for a small person like me th-cam.com/users/postUgkxP26Tir6n60vUkdtn4mbwhRO8cwuJQNy2 But the dumbbell size being large it's hard to do certain exercises like deadlift ( I have to have my hands and legs a bit wider to accommodate the size of the DB )Otherwise happy with the purchase. No excuse not to lift weight when it's snowing outside.
Okay Gary, I really appreciate your instructions. Have a question; I’m 71 years old and haven’t worked out in over 35 years but started in February of this year. I work the upper body and arms on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Lower body on Tuesday,Thursday and Saturday. Working about 2 hours each day. Am I hitting it too often? I’m not using heavy weights, 25lb tops.
Great simple work out I am 56 and took a few months off this summer from dumbell training for cross country bike rides with my friends gonna start back up in a couple days! In the cold weather I train 4 times a week using fairly light weights with slow perfect form! Again thank you!
Great routine for beginners. I feel like a beginner again. After cover, th gym closed, I lost momentum. I did a lot of landscaping and tree work got in cured badly in November and then had a month of illness. The shoulder I think is ready for beginner workouts before I do more, got to be careful. 2020 was hell! 2021 started with a bang and I pray we are past political violence and Insurrections.

Why do you knock the dumbbells together at the top of the exercise. Press or push the dumbbells up until your arms are fully extended; bring the dumbbells together at the top until they are about an inch apart. Slowly lower the dumbbells back down to an angle that is slightly past 90 degrees. Apart from that good video
Brother Gary I can't do pushups from the floor yet. Is it ok if start with wall pushups then go to incline etc until I am strong enough to get to the floor?
I’m not brother Gary but yes you can 100% do this. Try a counter top thats kinda at waist level and you can even just do it on your knees. As long as you give yourself range of motion
If u do those 3 exercises slow and strong your chest will be so pumped! If your feeling strong go to your next bodypart! if your shot out! go to the refrigerator! Then go back and do another bodypart! Having something in your house has been a game changer for me! but it wasn't easy! Covid made that happen! so much down time!!
Terrible advise to suggest flies for beginners (even worse for older guys). They will surely give you shoulder problems down the line. I speak from my own experience. Plenty of other ways to target your chest.

Why do you not use Push-Up-Grips?
If you loose it, and you have no floor below those shoulders, you will rip your rotator and muscles. Get off the beach and get on the floor.
