Doodash is completely gone down the drain because of people doing Two or Three dollar orders. When customers know they don't have to tip to get their food then why would they? Thanks to content creators for allowing customers to stay cheap 😢
I dashed tonight for 8pm-4am 8 hours straight all I made was $52 because my AR is 23% cause I refuse to play with these folks . Listened to my daughter and accepted the bs to get my rate back up tonight….Boom made garbage smh here in Georgia. I’m over it 🤦🏾♀️

Whenever you're in a situation with a second order you accept but don't want to deliver , arrive at that store and wait it out until unassign without penalty. It will raise your AR and no penalty with completion rate. I do it all the time
@@Sterban. the company created a tier system to box you into accepting crap that you have to unassign. They just made this adjustment and people are losing money trying to stay above 70% . Most people who do this work understand the approach. If you're db we can help explain it to you but I don't think that's why you're here.

I can grab 30 min shifts at random if i watch the screen but otherwise I have to schedule my shifts and I always miss the window to schedule plus my schedule changes and that's why i do or did this in the first place.
I say we try to gather as many people as possible and have them not dash for a day or two . Demanding doordash to change rules... Platinum status should have orders minimum $5 and never NEVER have order that pay less than miles. Wonder how much money they risking if over 1000 dasher just stop for a couple of days
It might work better to pick just one lunch or one dinner shift every week. Even if it's a Monday or Tuesday when things are already slow. People are more likely to give up 3 or 4 hours to stay home vs an entire day. The only thing is that there'd need to be a national campaign to do it. Still, there's always going to be greedy people who won't be able to see that not working those 3 or 4 hours could help them with every future hour
Also be careful man, I've had a 20 minute wait time in drive thru got to the speaker and they tell me pull up to the 2nd window...then they tell me the order has been taken already all that wasted time and somebody stole the order.
Charlotte is trash that's why. Doesn't matter where you go. I've delivered in almost all the main zones and I have to drive 30 mins to get anywhere. Straight trash.
For me, in my market (Northwest MS & Germantown TN), it is that way too AND 4 out of 5 orders will be non-tip orders to boot and DD still doesn't give a bump to my AR and I am a top Dasher (whatever that even means?) / maintain Platinum tier bc I keep my AR above 85 most times. Whose the dummy in this scenario!?!
Make sure you get that in writing to them and save it. Everyone reading. And also ask for a breakdown of your last 100 trips because u believe it's inaccurate, cause it is.

Summer has nuked my market, the decent parking spots (im in a small city there's only 3 or 4 good hot spots) used to have 0-3 of us chilling there, rotating in and out. Now you pull up to like 10 cars sitting there...
Why do people order food from so far away?I have so many orders where people are ordering like McDonald's.From like 15 miles away when there's got to be 2 or 3 McDonald's in their area.I don't understand why they do that.Can anyone answer that question for me
2 possible things I can think of is driver shortage which I know is most likely false or the app is trying to price gouge the customer by making them pay an unnecessarily long distance base fare for the order.
If you ever placed an order, sometimes when you try choosing a restaurant closer to you.. they will charge you a delivery fee. If you order from further out then sometimes it’s free delivery. Door dash does this so it can make drivers drive far. They do this to create being paid a certain amount within your shift. This is one of the reasons why this happens.
All the gig work depends on the are you at. I know a person with a 8% rate and still be making really good.. Its a the area you in. Everything depends on the area.
I understand you're up in your are, but I'm thinking about the money, that gets left on the table, when you're doing pay by time because the longer orders pay more from them.
😂playing with me. I get to 80% AR with a 4.91 customer rating, 100% completion, ect. Nearly perfect rating. So once i get AR up all they send is trash. Then once im back to 71% they send all no tip or dollar tip offers. So everyday im fighting to stay above 70% so i can scedule. Then i lose money to get it back to 80% which im doing right now😂
Your area must be over saturated here in Maryland my AR is 73 and I average 500 a week Part time I hear a lot of states are like yours hope it gets better .

Today was a horrible day. I have 5.0 customer rating. 100% completion rate, 96% on time and 10% AR. Over 5000 deliveries. All low pay high mileage orders for dinner tonight. I think their system was having problems bc it hasn't been like this in a while.
With the way acceptance rate is calculated if you were really at 13% for a significant period of time and accept every order there will be no difference in your ability to increase acceptance rate at the same pace since the orders that were past the last 50 you accepted still only have 13/100 or 6-7 accepts in the 50 oldest orders.
All you have to do after 10 mins is go up to the ? and do it that way. A lot of the times they won't give you the popup but you can manually do it yourself
@@Ticklicious That's exactly what I do....or use to do! I'd wait 10 mins and then unassign thru dasher help chat. Never had a problem until 2 days ago. Lost 2 completion points doing it that way. I thought maybe I didn't wait long enough on 1st order so waited 15 mins on the 2nd unassigned order and same issue. Still deducted 1pt for each unassigned order. I contacted support and they said you always get deducted regardless of wait time.....gotta love that whole reading from a script bs!
Just watch out that you don't get a text message that their order is ready. You will not get the "worry free" option after that because DD knows the order is ready and you are just dragging your feet.

As we all know,,,, AR based on your last 100 deliveries.. So if your part time doing 8 deliveries a day an work 5 days a week,,, your delivery 40 orders a week... This situation would take you 2 1/2 weeks to run through 100 deliveries...😢 Now within that 2 1/2 weeks you continue to deny orders,,,, you just keep pushing your AR lower,,,, especially if your denying orders before your AR goes up.... I keep my AR around 95%... I make about $1250 - $1550 a week,,,, full time driving 50+ hours a week....
Dont ever unassign a stacked order cause it glitches both orders hourly and you will get like 2 bucks. It will never take that long to deliver both, the estimated time is always 30 mins off. You would have gotten at least 11 bucks on both.

And also today I got a text saying I had an order. But no red button to accept or decline on the app. (Which was why I called support today) but they said there’s nothing they can do about it & because I couldn’t accept the order it will impact my acceptance rating. Which meant I had to accept some crappy orders after that today to keep my 70% accept rate.

The real cheat code is to accept the order get to the pickup and sit there for a while until you get the worry free unassign. That's all you have to do. Keeps your AR and your completion rating just fine
DoorDash is jacked up. I do waaaaaay better with Uber rides. I hate food delivery, it makes me feel like a chump. With ride share my riders need me a lot more than I need them. Too many problems with food delivery.

Man I’m on 9% AR 99% CR 4.95 Customer rating 11 deliveries in 30 days. I’m on punishment! I have been using Spark more for the time being! They don’t send me offers when I’m offer with low AR it sucks!! I use to make. 1k a week but I ran my car out 😂
prolly A franchise and/or manager thing.. I usually camp out across the street from my local Wendy's so I am there nearly immediately, orders are either completed or 3 minutes from it.. :)
You are telling no lies. I door dash on the side. Sometimes I am not able to dash for a week at a time. When that happens.....they punish me like whipping boy let me tell you! Dash has this worked out!
My strategy is do earn by time, take them all, get 💯 AR, then switch to earn by order, cherry pick until I am down to 70%, then I switch back to earn by time and do em all until I’m at 💯 again, repeat.. crazy thing is I usually still earn more n the earn by time days; I do drive 25 minutes away to where the rich people live.
they will probably decactiviate you for this if i mean u do this like 5-10 times a day or something one of the restaurants might complain to doordash or doordash will just deactivate just cuz they feel like it.
Lol I'm trying to tell you this is not the way to do it. I did the exact same thing and was wondering why I kept seeing upside down offers as a platinum dasher with a 75% rating so I called support and they told me verbatim that the algorithm can pick up on me unassigning orders and it will continur to send me bad offers if i keep doing that, so essentially if you get a 100% ar that way itll be pointless, but you'll figure it out eventually 😂

Decline 2 orders AR go down 1% but to go up 1% gotta accept 7 orders

If the miles is more than the money, I don’t take the offer. I don’t do orders less than $5 for my area.
Built my shit up all the way to platinum just to receive $3.25 & $4.75 orders for 3 hours to go 5+ miles

Man I’m on 9% AR 99% CR 4.95 Customer rating 11 deliveries in 30 days. I’m on punishment! I have been using Spark more for the time being! They don’t send me offers when I’m offer with low AR it sucks!! I use to make. 1k a week but I ran my car out 😂

prolly A franchise and/or manager thing.. I usually camp out across the street from my local Wendy's so I am there nearly immediately, orders are either completed or 3 minutes from it.. :)

This has been my worse week in two years
You are telling no lies. I door dash on the side. Sometimes I am not able to dash for a week at a time. When that happens.....they punish me like whipping boy let me tell you! Dash has this worked out!
Also ppl giving .50 cent tips....why even bother????????
My strategy is do earn by time, take them all, get 💯 AR, then switch to earn by order, cherry pick until I am down to 70%, then I switch back to earn by time and do em all until I’m at 💯 again, repeat.. crazy thing is I usually still earn more n the earn by time days; I do drive 25 minutes away to where the rich people live.
First thing you got to do is get an order to accept even get no order anymore is it possible
they will probably decactiviate you for this if i mean u do this like 5-10 times a day or something one of the restaurants might complain to doordash or doordash will just deactivate just cuz they feel like it.

Lol I'm trying to tell you this is not the way to do it. I did the exact same thing and was wondering why I kept seeing upside down offers as a platinum dasher with a 75% rating so I called support and they told me verbatim that the algorithm can pick up on me unassigning orders and it will continur to send me bad offers if i keep doing that, so essentially if you get a 100% ar that way itll be pointless, but you'll figure it out eventually 😂
I've noticed i don't get anything for a while when i unassign regardless if it's worryfree or not

Pretty sure in ca you make prop22 money, so it's probably grounds to get deactivated if you abuse it 😅
