I have a 2021 f150 Tremor. The truck does so many things great. I tow a 29 ft boat and a 34 ft camper. Having the towing capacity and ability to take this truck off road with confidence makes it a great Choice. I love our channel. Keep up the great work.
First time seeing the the F150 Tremor put through it's off roading paces. It's an amazing full size truck. Handles off roading, carries the family and appears loaded with technology. Hats off to Ford for continuing to build amazing trucks. I know the Raptor is the king of Ford trucks, but the Tremor gives you the better bang for the buck regarding family budgets. Thanks for sharing the Tremor test. Great Job
I really like the limited slip front diff. A lot of these off road packages are competing for features, including front lockers. I don't think too many people really need or use them so this seems like the best approach. On when it slips and no buttons, thinking or 4-lo required.
I think if your a serious offroader you change all that stuff anyhow.....I don't off-road but live in the snow belt and have a snowplow......so a limited slip front diff while soft .....would be helpfull
Good morning Truck King!! Gotta love the brutal trails at TK...This Tremor truck is better than Raptor for the width!! Lights are cool on these New Fords
Nice work guys! The Ford's and those Torsen differentials rule again! I agree on the Rebel, it needs more suspension, more torque, and more lockers to actually compete with the Tremor, ZR2, and TRD-Pro.
I am sooo glad I custom ordered my TREMOR 402a with the torsen front diff and everything except sunroof on January 28th 2022! I saved a ton doing the order so I paid $68,500 or $75,000 OTD..I saw a used base model 400a selling for 75k so ordering is THE way to go! I got it 4.5 months later and I just did a 2000 mile road trip including Trinity River, the Eureka coastline, and all the way to Lake Havasu. The adaptive cruise along with the lane keeping system was amazing and left me way less fatigued than normal as I was able to keep both feet on the floor and stretch! I topped it off with a Peragon XD Tonneau that kept my inflatable paddle boards and air compressor safe from theft. The offroad modes are so amazing and my wife really loves the baby soft leather and air conditioned seats! I got 22 mpg highway at 70 mph and 19 mpg on adaptive cruise at 85 mph. Way better than a RAPTOR for my mild off roading and long trips. I love my TREMOR and thanks to your earlier videos I actually ordered one and am so happy!
I have a 21 F150 tremor with a 2 1/2 inch coilover leveling kit. I kept the stock rims added a set of 35 inch all-terrain tires, the approach is perfect now. I am also loving Fords BlueCruise, it’s not 100% perfect but for rush hour traffic and long trips it’s awesome!
I work for WM here in the states and yes I wear the long sleeves even in the summer for the bugs and garbage. Love the channel!! Keep up the good work!
Great video! I have yet to take my Tremor anywhere near a trail so I'm living vicariously through you for now. I did add the Rough Country Tremor specific leveling kit and gives it a much better stance. Would likely help where you hit a rock or two on pile 2.0.
I really appreciate your reviews, I feel like I am getting good, honest information from your feedback. I just purchased a Tremor, haven't had it off road yet so this was a great preview for what to expect. Thank you, keep up the great work!
Dream truck: Ford F150 with the Tremor package and the 7.2 kw power plant hybrid system. Sign me up! Then, I would give it a slight lift and put some P315 75 R18 tires on it. General grabbers of course. Done! Great video fellas!
First time seeing a review of the Ford Tremor. You proved its a fantastic pickup. It does a solid job off roading while being a strong daily driver from hauling the family to whatever you need to haul in the bed. The Raptor is the king of Ford pickups, but so is it's price. The Tremor would be my selection when purchasing a new F150. Thanks for the ride along and your informative review while taking the mosquito bites for the team.
Love the video... first one from your channel that I've watched... I think y'all are what the pick up truck review niche has been missing on TH-cam. Somewhat technical off-roading in stock pick up trucks. The terrain you drive them through is what I believe everyone who intends to drive off road in their truck will encounter sooner or later (fishing, hunting, overloading, etc...) We all don't have snow, rocky terrain, or sand to drive through... but I believe rain, dirt, mud is across most of the United States and the world. And I could tell that the mud y'all drove through is not just a water puddle with a hard bottom. Thank you for the content! I just subscribed.
Great truck.. love the video.. we have the same terrain here in Northern Wisconsin and that Ford Tremor would be the utmost perfect truck to use. Great trail videos
I noticed that too, but it's not surprising. If I were you, the first thing that I would do when I picked up my new truck would be to have it rust proofed with Krown or Fluid Film or something similar. Just not that rubberized crap.
Totally agree! Have to wonder if Ford just wanted to rush the "F-150 Tremor" out the door? The Super Duty & Ranger versions have Fox shocks from the factory! Ford should have used the "Performance Series" Coil Over IFP 2.0 shock (up to a 2.5" front lift) & Smooth Body IFP shock (up to a 1" rear lift) instead of using the "Hitachi" brand shocks that are used now! IMO, the F150 Tremor is the best all around truck if you use your truck for what it was designed to do! Sure a Raptor is great but really takes a hit on payload, towing & going down trails ... that width makes a BIG difference where it can go!
I love that truck! I wish they offered it with the powerboost hybrid but otherwise I think it’s the best platform for someone who wants to off-road often and build up a machine over time
I spent a year in Labrador. We joke about mosquitoes being the NJ state bird but I've seen Canadian ones darken the sun and make men swell up from being unprotected.
Looks nice , did well on the course, I think most who buy off road truck packages probably don't do crazy off roading , everyday use and Canadian winters the Tremor would be perfect for me 👌🏽.. I'd get it in 5.0 tho 😀.. great video boys 👊🏽
@@rinkrat4459that sucks only the ecoboost , really don't care about power its the sound that matters , and always mod it for more power .. but thanks for the info brother 👊🏽
I LOVE the tremor. This video really shows where the tremor shines. With that said, I can't wait until you guys get your hands on an F150 Rattler. I believe the Rattler is going to be the package the FX4 should have been. Time will tell.
Had to get a bypass harness made for my 2011 Fx4 so I wouldn't get stuck because of traction control. That Tremors a wicked truck. NEEDS THE GOODYEAR M/T's for sure tho
One inch at the time like what the wife says 🤣 great video guy's the approach angle might not be enough but got see what Andre did to the Trail Boss 😉 the Tremor f150 is nice 👍
Anyone who doesn't get this truck with the Torson Front Diff option is just a fool and should sell their Tremor right now and buy a Toyota. That Torson Front Diff is simply amazing and the price to upgrade to it is literally a $1/mo difference in your payments.
I dont care if the ecoboom has more torque, a half ton truck deserves a V8. And the coyote has better fuel economy, can also be supercharged. As for the ground clearance and approach angles, a simple leveling kit and 35 inch tires will solve all those problems, as well as make that truck look real bad ass!! Love your videos, keep em coming!!
I don’t disagree with you necessarily on the Coyote engine but I think one major caveat is that if you’ll be driving it at higher altitudes that naturally aspirated V8 is going to bog down and become noticeably less effective than the eco boost. I think both engines are great in their own right… but yeah that Coyote is so damn American I love it.
Great review. And holy cannoli those skeeters looked terrible! Might suggest a little more finesse on the throttle for that initial run. Those tires looked like they were smoking! Regardless, this is the type of off-roading I tend to do. High speed desert stuff is fun, but real technical off-roading is usually slow and frustrating. Looks like the F150 Tremor is a legit trim level. 👍🏼
You guys run an excellent show :D Those trails/obstacles are perfect too. Not crazy, but also more than most truck owners will use theirs for by just a little bit and thus not easy too. Keep it up!
I love the mud and water for truck testing. 🚚 Glad you fed the hungry mosquitoes. When i would go to my camp 🏕, my niece would ask me if mosquitoes bother me...and they did to a degree. I would ask my my niece if they bother her...she would emphatically say yes. I told her they like you so much because they LOVE ANGEL BLOOD.
Good stuff. Love your vids. Question. How do you think the Raptor with its much greater width would have handled all that? Including sliding into trees and things in those really muddy sections? I heard a rumor that the 2025 Tremor may come with an optional Powerboost engine. If so, I may go for it, but otherwise I was thinking Raptor, and trying to decide between 35's and 37's. Somehow I just don't think the Platinum would be able to handle much of this, and currently that would be how I get the Powerboost.
Unfortunately the only rear gear option is the 3:73 and with the price of gas I’ll pass for the 3:31 or 3:55 in another model but the tremor does look sharp just not warranted for my needs
I would love to see you guys try the trail for a second time with the GMC Canyon AT4 but with the front air dam removed. My manual says to remove it when going off road. It's too bad here in Canada we didn't get the same package as in the US that removes it from factory. Other than that I really like my new Canyon and the metallique sand color I chose is gorgeous!
I like your off road testing way better than the talk shows. I understand you can’t always test vehicles though. I wonder if the Coyote V-8 is available in the Tremor?
you should put some load in the bed, that what a truck is for. you rarely get a truck in the trails completely empty. then traction is better and realistic
The Torsen front differential is superior to the electronic front locking differential, especially on faster runs. The Torsen, unlike electronic locking, has no speed limitations, albeit it costs considerably more. When you factor in the Torsen’s insane reliability, it's easy to see why it's the go-to front end for military vehicles. Because of this, I would prefer the Tremor over the Silverado ZR2 any day of the week. Please get your hands on an R1T. Everyone would be interested in seeing what an actual four-independent motor design would do on your course. I think Rivian is giving us a glimpse of what off-roaders will look like decades from now.
I don’t know how truck sales are doing these days but I can assume it’s not good with these fuel costs. Unless a person actually needs a truck which are very few people, I think truck sales could possibly tank. Which is not good for American manufacturers since they dominate the truck market.
I'd like your input since you tested this and the 2021 Power Wagon. I want a truck that I can drive for 10-12 hours a day on long road trips that will also handle service roads and some easy/mid-level trails. No rock crawling to speak of, maybe Fins but no High Dive sort of stuff. Which would you prefer to drive for that use case? I'd be ordering a 2023 for either.

Raptors are novelty vehicles. F150s for the common folks are king!
This is my favorite off road channel! I love that you really get into the throttle and go for it!
Mine's ordered. This is a great vid bud, finally a true offroad test. Thanks. A lift and 35 would help a bit

The Tremor looks best in the anti-matter blue. It's amazing! Thanks love your videos!!

Damn man. Fugget the Raptor and even the Raptor R. This Tremor in carbonized gray is what I want.

Great video! It genuinely made me smile. Best Tremor video I've seen. Picking mine up on Tuesday. Same colour but 401A package.
Those Ontario Mosquitoes are no joke. I'm from Northern Ontario
i think the biggest thing hurting that truck is the tires. some proper MTRs and it would have just chewed through that.
I want one of these so bad! Faster than a Raptor!!!
