- This Photowalk takes place in Motoko Town (モトコータウン). Motomachi Kokadori Shopping Street (Motomachi Koukadori Shopping Street) is a shopping street that operates under the elevated railway tracks between Motomachi Station and Kobe Station on the JR Kobe Line (Tokaido Main Line). The common name is "Motoko". It is also sometimes called "elevated". The address belongs to Motomachi Kokadori, Chuo-ku, Kobe City. A lot of it has been renovated, and further renovation is underway. While some people will welcome the new, clean, modern look, others will miss the exciting grunginess of its past.
I set my Ricoh GR IIIx in Snap Distance Priority to a Snap Priority Distance of 2m. The AE Metering was Multi-segment. I shot in RAW and JPG (Vibrant Nostalgia from Ricoh Recipes).
I decided to show all the photos even though some should have been deleted because I felt it's important to always show the good, the bad, and the ugly (e.g., completely blurry photos) in my run-and-gun style photo walks.
