Shukugawa is a very popular cherry blossom viewing spot. There are literally thousands of areas throughout Japan though. Unfortunately, the sakura only bloom for a short period. I always shoot in RAW & JPG but I like showing off the JPG Recipes in my videos so people can decide if they like the look or not. Thanks for your comment.

@@johneather Glad you are having fun. Just keep in mind that street photography is legal in Japan so long as it is not derogatory to subjects, which can get you in trouble. My best advice is to never shoot anything controversial. Have fun in Japan and enjoy the camera. And you are welcome I wish I had someone to help me when I first started out. It make such a great difference when there are friendly people willing to lend outa hand.

Yes, the area is Nankinmachi. It’s also called Chukamachi which translates to “Chinatown”. It’s especially busy on the weekends or public holidays. You should visit there if you’re ever in Kobe.
