Hey, everyone! Sorry we’ve been gone for so long. We’ve been working on some pretty awesome things, like this interview with SBSK! Head to their channel to check out the full interview!
It was so great to meet you two! You are both so genuine and kind. It's clear to see why so many people love your content. Also everybody.... They are even cooler in person!!!!!
Hey Chris, maybe you'll read this and just wanted to let you know that your videos don't just impact kids in an very acepting and uplifting manner :) Very thankful for the work you do. And you guys, Charisma and Cole, also seem like an awesome couple altough I've only got to know you for a couple of minutes now :D Keep up the good work!
Special Books by Speci... I enjoyed your interview with my babies, and yes I believe that they are much better people in person. I will now look up your vlog. THANKS for helping the young disabled to know that they to can live a healthy, happy, lifestyle. Just keep believing in themselves, there is a reason for all things, love come at its own time.
I am a 70-year-old retired English teacher, and I have never been so moved by anything as much as Cole’s remarks on whether he would “redo” his life. What wisdom from one so young! To recognize that life’s greatest blessings can sometimes only come to us through pain and suffering...beautiful. God bless this beautiful young couple!
You are an awesome couple as a teacher you have helped me to be comfortable when dealing with children who are disabled. HOPE you will visit UAE 🇦🇪 sometime I love 💘❤💕you couple
I worked at a school years back and Chris came to speak with our students. What struck me is that he didn’t do a huge speech in the auditorium with all staff and students present, and he didn’t announce his arrival, he just low key came to our special needs class and spent time with the children. Really looked at them and engaged. I saw the kids relate to him in such a special and unique way. I’ve respected his journey ever since. He asked excellent questions during this interview and I’m sitting here with a full heart because this exhibited sincerity, joy and positivity. Love all three of you wonderful folks.
Wow, yes I can definitely believe that about him; he seems so genuine. I really appreciate people like that, folks who are in it for the love of what they do or for the love of the people, rather than to gain attention. That’s noteworthy and admirable. Thanks for sharing!
I'm not disabled but I respect them so much charisma is a amazing woman and Cole is so positive and inspiring and they both have amazing families God bless
I love Cole's ability to articulate in words his love for Charisma and I love Charisma's intelligence and inner and outer beauty. You are both lovely. I just subscribed and can't wait to watch more of your videos.
Chris is the most pure, happy person in the world. Just his smile behind the camera when he's interviewing, you can tell he loves what he does. Such a light in the world. He's the best, I love sbsk!!
You are so brave. What a harsh thing to have to go through. I have fibromyalgia and have had to battle my way back to being able to walk again. I hope your illness allows you to do the same. Sending you many healing thoughts and prayers. x
Praying for you Michelle. God's got you and He won't let you go. Keep fighting and researching new MS developments. Europe has made some progress so look outside the US also.
Michelle ,check out Dr Terry Wahls Protocol. Her MS was reversed by her diet. She has videos on this and she noticed that when she missed her certain vitamins / she couldn’t get out of her chair. It’s worth checking out . I wish you every success.❤️❤️❤️🇨🇦
To be honest watching Charisma and Cole has made me so much comfortable around anyone who is disabled. It wasn’t that I was scared or anything, I just assumed that anyone with a disability would want to be bother.I have disabled customers who I have become friendly with, and ask for me when I am not work, because I have transfusion every two weeks. So thank you Charisma and Cole for sharing your life with us,
Ok during that interview when they asked if you were persecuted for being interabled and Charisma spoke about how she’s been called animal names and had racial slurs hurled at her. I would like to take a moment and sincerely apologize for whatever idiot can’t see what a beautiful, intelligent, gracious woman Charisma is and how much of a blessing she has been to Cole. And yes I am white. Just try and challenge me. You two are just perfect together. Don’t let them tear you down Charisma. You are a queen!
Well said. I have experienced that from a white male and it’s so nasty but it does not speak for a whole race. Some people are just willing idiots that are miserable.
They love each other and you can see that every time you watch one of their videos. She is very respectful of his disability and he is very respectful of her and everything that she does for him. She never makes him feel like a burden. She makes him feel like a loved husband. I love watching them, there is so much love between them. ❤️
Watched the full interview which was so lovely to watch but i really hated the fact that despite being loving, kind, human beings, people still give them abuse! I can only imagine how sad and jealous those people are. What these two have is so precious! ❤️ Their kids will be so lucky ❤️
Fantastic video. What Cole said about his life was spot on. What more could you ask for? Making a difference, having a company with your best friend and wife, and living a full life. Terrific job Cole and Charisma!!
I teared up at the end when Cole said "he was so grateful for how things ended up, but he would've been so confused as a 16 yo kid." I hope we all think and feel like that throughout our lives. You three are a small joy in my life. Thank you!
Just came from your SBSK interview straight to your channel to subscribe because I think you are such a cool, amazing, fun, caring and upbeat couple that I just couldn’t wait to see more of you! I loved everything about your interview, especially the way you met and the way you, Cole, battled your way back from such a horrific accident. Thank God your friend managed to grab you in time and pull you out of that water. So often this type of accident happens to young, super sporty young men who take perhaps greater risks than the general population and so suffer even greater loss in that their bodies were their whole worlds. I’ve met several of these young men and followed some of the astounding lives they’ve made for themselves, but rarely have I met one who so firmly states he wouldn’t take back that accident even if he could. Rarely have I seen someone in a wheelchair as happy and content and upbeat and positive as you are, Cole. You are like a couple in the very first throes of love; hardly like a married couple at all! The way you both look at each other just speaks volumes and I think you are both such lovely and warm-hearted people as individuals as well. This is a true love story, in my opinion, and as an author of teen love stories, I should know! 😉 This is the kind of story people want to read about in novels - one of the truest and most romantic (and the reverse of tragic) love stories of all time. I was devastated to hear of the truly horrific racist and ableist abuse you have received - some human beings can be the epitome of pure evil - but I can tell that, together, you have the strength to deal even with that level of cruelty and stupidity, even though it must hurt. I feel that together there is little you cannot conquer and I wish you nothing but the best for your continuing love story. I look forward to continue watching your journey on your channel now. Thank you so much for being the truly awesome couple that you are and for letting us into your amazing life together. Cole, you are so good-looking and Charisma, you are as so beautiful and just as charismatic as your name suggests with, as Cole pointed out, the most wonderful smile! With so much love and admiration! Tabitha (London, UK)
Literally ALL the feels from watching your video on SBSK. To hear Charisma address the difficulties they’ve experienced not just being interabled but also interracial? These folks are beyond Gorgeous.
I came here form SBSK, and I'm so glad Chris interviewed you two because I got to know you. I had a smile on my face for the entire video... you two are beautiful, together as a couple but also so cute and adorable on your own. I really think this world is better just because you two have found each other, your love is so apparent, your happiness spreads all over. Bye for now, I hope you have a good week
I just love the affection that Cole shows Charisma! It is so beautiful! I could listen to him talk about her and her about him for the longest !! they are so beautiful together and they are so inspiring! They brought tears to my eyes because that type of love make a person happy and people of all ages that is suffering from any type of disability or not it gives them the hope of being loved; and that it is not impossible.Which means that they're good enough as they are. You all are helping so many people to feel better! Charisma you speak very well and have a beautiful smile and Cole has one of the greatest positive outlook ever!! .Great couple 💗 God bless you both with all of your endeavors. 🙏🙏🙏
Just saw your sbsk interview and it set my heart on fire. You're both absolutely beautiful people, inside and out. I'm mixed race and both parents experienced terrible racism. I'm really proud to have such varied and interesting heritage :) I believe young people have more access to information now and the world will slowly become more and more accepting. There's no doubt in my mind you guys will do massive things and get everything you want in life. Thanks for sharing with us x
I love charisma how sh ef steadies cole and keeps him calm...and ive seen him steady her ,but these are two beautiful loving people wise beyond their years!
This a dream come true moment for me...My three favorite, inspiring people coming together and changing lives in such a remarkable and positive way....Love You Cole, Charisma and Chris....Lisa, L.I, N.y 🥰❤🤗
This was one of your better videos: You can SEE the growth and maturity that has taken place within each of you, individually and corporately. It is a wonderful blend.
" For someone with a disability l'm very able" What a impactful statement . You've refused to let your disability define you. You do not sit around basking in self pity and why me. Instead you and Charisma are spreading positivity to millions. STAY POSITIVE!
I have been following Chris for a while and was so excited to see him visit and interview you guys. The behind the scenes was fun to watch but more importantly the stories you and Chris share change lives. So proud of all of you.
I love watching SBSK! When I saw you guys featured in their recent upload I had a little fangirl moment 😂 I work for a DSHS service provider and among all of the referrals we receive, we often get a few newly injured clients. Some as young as 17. Our mission statement is " Empowering individuals with disabilities to live their full potential". I'm 24, so I love to be the one who meets these younger clients and assure them that they are not alone, that there is a wonderful community and tons of resources out there. Of course, some are not always ready or willing to integrate into this community yet. Sometimes we'll have conversations and I like to mention some of my favorite TH-camrs (you guys). You're positivity and acceptance has made such a special impact ❤️ you have no idea. Especially when someone thinks their life is over
When I was going through a health trauma , the most devastating part was feeling like no one would be able to accept and love me. After I met my husband it was hard to share and let him help me with difficult tasks. During this time I found your channel and I realised that I myself was lucky enough to find someone like Charisma. Keep your heart open if you are feeling like it’s not possible. It is and you are deserving!!! I love your message and I send you all my hope for it’s prosperity in every way.
It's been eight years guys!! You guys could write a love story, do you know that? Oh my Lord! I was laughing because I was happy but tears were just leaking out of my eyes. The interviewer is great. And you guys! You guys could give lessons in awesomeness! Really.
I try to educate people sometimes. My son has autism. And that’s the way I say it. Or you have diabetes or you have a disability. I try not to say you’re autistic, diabetic or disabled. I feel you “have” those things, that you are not defined by the labels. This was such a great video!
Hi Cole and charisma, welcome to sbsk family and I want to tell you that I have been huge SBSK fan starting 2017 when I was college student watching the videos in dorm. In 2019 I applied for sbsk interview and Chris and I are literally best friends and called me as sbskmama since I welcome everyone to sbsk community. Earlier this evening Chris called me to watch this video. When he mentioned video game group well I help him to start it so we can keep in touch especially during pandemic. I want to say that I love this video and new follower from sbsk family.
My husband and I were watching the interview and were getting teary eye. You can see so much love they have for each other. The way they spoke about each other and to each other.
Oh my goodness. I luv this love. Charisma is absolutely a queen. Cole u made me cry. I'm so happy u are in a good place. I want nothing but good things for everything u guys want & need. Your channel brings me joy. Thanks for sharing, im all tuned in.
What can I say beautiful, teary eyed again just love you guys, and Chris you are an awesome guy, keep doing what you are doing for the kids. Much love Cole & Charisma you always make my day when you upload, thanks
@@livingdeadgirlncc7408 Thank you. I am too obviously! I can't wait until they're back on stage. It's my husband and my favorite thing to do. The meet and greet and pit passes were so worth it. ❤ I hope you get a chance to meet him one day. He's as kind and down to earth as you'd expect him to be.
What a sweet, sweet bunch of people you three are. My god, I loved this so much. I'm a long time SBSK follower, but I've never actually seen any behind the scenes footage with Chris, him talking normally to people etc. It was so cool to see how good he is at answering honestly and carefully, with a mindblowingly perfect cadence. A true teacher. Oh and yea I love you guys' smiles as well. My day is brighter from this. Ok rant over :)
So glad to see you again!! Great to know about Armando moving to Virginia! I think he is great and will help a lot with your videos and editing. Love when Cole says "No, I would not take away those things from myself. Are you serious? This is the dream, man! Why would I take this from myself?" Wow, what an amazing human being you are Cole. Love you guys, from Mexico City!
My two favorite channels mashing it up! Chris seems like such a nice guy and someone who honestly seems to love people! And Cole and Charima help me to remember to be nice to people (I admit I need help to stay positive). Thanks for putting this together!
You two are a great example of being able to fall in love with disabilities. We all have a “flaw” but it’s good to see that despite our “flaws” we are still lovable and can love another.
I saw you today on SBSK and as of today I'm one of your new subscribers!☺ You are beautiful people, inside and out! I love your kindness, your smiles and your positivity, and your relationship with each other!💗 It broke my heart, Charisma, when you shared that you've experienced racial slurs and other hateful words.😞 Oh my gosh, here I'm thinking 2 mins into your SBSK interview how I'd LOVE to have you as my BFF, or my niece, daughter, sister...whatever, as long as we're family! (P.S. I'm a 59 yr old white woman who loves kind people!) And there's people out there spewing hate?! Those people are jealous, bitter, and need to come off their high-horse. I wish you and Cole much love, laughter, light, joy, and many blessings! Hugggs!💗
"One of my biggest fear after I had my accident was the fear of not find love " Cole, God created u with love and he was not going to turn his back against u he is a faithful God ,Charisma was made for u.
Hello Cole and Charisma! I just watched your interview with SBSK and I got your TH-cam channel from there. I can say that you two are so adorable. I felt so much love and I was smiling watching your video. Seeing Cole still feeling that butterfly in his stomach is priceless. I can see from you that love sees no race, no disability, just pure love that comes from within. God bless you both! Sending love to you from the Philippines. 🥰
Charisma, I acknowledge you and your worth, significance and radiance! You have so much to say and it is welcomed, validated and received! I cannot apologize for others ignorance and extreme hostility no matter how subtle or blatant their comments, but I will say that who you are and who you are made to be is awesome, stunning and lovable! I say that you are a treasure and should only be seen that way in the eyes of anyone who sees you and sees you with Cole! I hope this makes sense. It can't make up for what you've experienced and will experience, but there are more who are for you and for you and Cole being together than those who are against you! You are a beautiful, stunning human Charisma! Your complexion, your smile, the external aspects of who you are should be seen with honor and love, because you are similar to the sunrise, a meadow full of sunflowers and other breathtaking art God has made to display his glory on earth! You are shiny glory on earth! We know what you radiate on the inside already, so I'm intentionally mentioning the features God gave you on the outside! It should be mentioned! You are beautifully and wonderfully made! I acknowledge YOU!!! 👸🏽👑😇💎🎁👈🏾
I watched this and the entire SBSK interview video and it made me laugh, cry, and get pissed off all at the same time... Cole and Charisma, you too are so very special (but you don’t need anyone to tell you that); you’re special because of the selfless love you share; it’s genuine and it’s real 💜. Unfortunately, there are going to be black and white people, fully able-bodied and not fully able-bodied (I don’t like the term “disabled”- it’s not accurate) who are are deep forest green with envy and deeply puzzled as to why they can’t find and maintain the love that the two of you have. These people need to spend more time looking in the mirror and/ or go buy a copy of Oprah’s new book “What Happened To You” to try and dissect why they are not just jealous, but so hateful. Normal people are just drawn to the two of you (another thing that the haters can’t stand). Charisma, I am sorry very sorry that you were called such demeaning and hurtful names 😭💔, and it must pain and anger Cole as well... But please, as hard as it is, just ignore those comments and pray for those people making them. You two are amazing as individuals; you’re a combination of dynamite, TNT, and nitro as a couple. Always wishing the two if you the very best 🙏🏽💙☺️
I'm invisibly disabled, relatively recently diagnosed. I really hope there's someone out there who will love me as much as you two obviously love each other. But, the older I get, the more I doubt it.
Of course you deserve love. It’s a gift, nothing to take for granted, nothing we’re entitled to (whether we’re able bodied or not!), but every body is loveable.
Cole, you bring tears to the eyes with your sincerity and wisdom. Charisma, you are radiant with brilliant energy and positivity. YOU two are perfect for one another!
I feel like a older proud big sister! You two are beyond amazing and real people. I love how you love life and each other. Keep doing what you doing and PLEASE don't let the negative comments stop you. Just remember you have a whole community of people who support you 1000%.
Just found y’all on SBSK and I’m excited to join your journey! I have a 22 year old daughter (nuerotypical) and a sweet 7 year old boy that has autism and they are my world.
To me what makes Cole and Charisma so outstanding is their sincereness for their feelings for one another... they show understanding with kindness and give understanding in return with kindness. The saying goes, “it’s how you say it” . In a sincere voice or disgusted voice. Cole and charisma always speaking to each other in a respectful tone of voice. Weather it’s an argument or not....the way is to smoothly help each other out to a smooth relationship. And the good thing too, both Cole and Charisma family gets along so wonderfully connected that who has space to hate but help each other with love. Take care.
Funny, i see you as differently able, instead of able and disabled. I guess I've been watching too long? Loving Cole's black and white shirt. It's so beautiful when you can be yourself, even on your not best days, and still feel appreciated.
👋Hello Cole, Charisma, Armando and Sophie, it's so nice to see you all. 💖 What a great vlog, charged with emotion and deeply felt conversations. Although you're missed, time out is important, living life and actively working on projects is the key to productivity. Thanks so much for sharing 💕✨
This interview was how I discovered your channel. It's really cool to see it from a different perspective and realize some what you guys said that made such a big impact on me. I'm at that point now (9:50) where Charisma is talking about how she felt she could just be herself with Cole. It sounds simple, but it's such a huge thing. It makes me realize how rarely in my life I've felt I could just be myself without a lot of editing and eliding of parts of who I am. It's a powerful message, Charisma - thank you!
That thumbnail photo is perfect. This video is perfect. The interview is amazing. Wishing you all the best in your loving relationship and successful business.
You did a great interview. I’m also in an interabled relationship and I think it was so important that you mentioned no matter how hard you try some things still won’t happen. It upsets me so much that people assume if my partner tried harder he would magically be able to walk........wake up people it doesn’t work like that. So thanks for all your advocacy in helping people understand some of the disability issues x

Like the way Cole watches his wife why she talks . He listens and takes it all in
Exactly what I was thinking! He was watching her put on her makeup in such a loving way.
I agree.
Agreed. He doesn’t just hear her, he is listening to every word she says and why she says it. Everyone should listen that way.
Yah
my heart explored, full of tears, just love these two

Thanks for inspiring me everyday. As a woman in her 50s with MS losing my walking ability, you both inspire me. Thank You

Awwww Cole’s last words spoken just touched my heart, U guys have been blessed by the Almighty , keep up the good work!!!
You two are SO BEAUTIFUL. BEAUTIFUL to your collective cores.
Your SBSK interview had me in tears with happiness. Thank you for sharing your story
Their love for each other is amazing! They are so cool and very powerful in their relationship!
I love these two they really care about each other she cares for him and he cares for her God bless both of them.
" For someone with a disability l'm very able" What a impactful statement . You've refused to let your disability define you. You do not sit around basking in self pity and why me. Instead you and Charisma are spreading positivity to millions.
STAY POSITIVE!
I love SBSK and Chris. Wonderful organization and he is amazing. So happy to see that you two wonderful entities connected.
Especially when someone thinks their life is over
I have missed you two and Sophie 🤗 I love Chris. He seems so kind like you two seem!!🤗❤
I am so thrilled you guys did this collaboration.
It's been eight years guys!! You guys could write a love story, do you know that? Oh my Lord! I was laughing because I was happy but tears were just leaking out of my eyes. The interviewer is great. And you guys! You guys could give lessons in awesomeness! Really.
I in
I try to educate people sometimes.
I love his channel! He's so sweet and respectful!
Cole you and your wife Charisma have shown the world that love have no boundaries and it doesn't discriminate. Blessings to you both in your union.
AMEN
charisma and cole are killing the game. the opportunity of sharing your platform on sbsk is amazing.🥺 I watch both of your channels all the time.
Such a great interviewer in Chris, such warm and relatable interviewees in Cole and Charisma!
If my future partner doesn’t look at me the way Cole looks at Charisma, then I prefer to be single forever 😤
They are America’s (if not the world’s) happiest and most together couple. Amazing.
Y'all made me cry. That was such a great interview. Heading to SBSK to watch their video. ❤
Michelle Rhodes I loooveeeee your photo and a little jealous too!!! Jaja... I'm a big fan of Rob Zombie.
“Obviously we are awkward and weird. Come join us!” You 2 are MY people! 😂😂😂😂
I teared up when he was talking about Charisma 😢😢😢
So beautiful ❤️❤️❤️
Love wins. May God continue to bless y’all.
I am not crying you’re crying 😭 😂. Just love your love. So sweet and pure. ❤️ to you both.
What a beautiful and positive channel for our kids. Thank you, Chris, for opening a new world to future adults.
omg Chris is actually that nice in person. I love it!
How they look at each other says it all...immense LOVE!
I love how they love each other. They're doing better in there relationship than people without disabilities.
Two worlds collide! This was awesome. Can't wait to see the other on SBSK. 💞🥳👍👍
Chris is just a gem and it was such a treat to see this. Thank you both for agreeing to do the interview and this really fun behind the scenes!!
YOU BLESS MY SOUL ~ STAY POSITIVE ❣
My two favorite channels mashing it up! Chris seems like such a nice guy and someone who honestly seems to love people! And Cole and Charima help me to remember to be nice to people (I admit I need help to stay positive). Thanks for putting this together!
Hey! I just watched your interview with Chris and SBSK. You guys were awesome. Good to see you both again. ❤️
You two are a great example of being able to fall in love with disabilities. We all have a “flaw” but it’s good to see that despite our “flaws” we are still lovable and can love another.
I literally cried during and clapped at the end of this video. Thank you for inspiring us all! :-)
So enchanting and inspiring. This love story just keeps on giving..💕💕💕💕
Thanks for sharing the behind the scenes! I never knew how SBSK got started. Thank you for being positive role models and fun people!
I’m so glad you two got to see Chris ULMER of SBSK. Continue on your road on getting the giant gold play button
Had to seriously hold back my tears when he was talking about Charisma
I saw you today on SBSK and as of today I'm one of your new subscribers!☺
You are beautiful people, inside and out! I love your kindness, your smiles and your positivity, and your relationship with each other!💗
It broke my heart, Charisma, when you shared that you've experienced racial slurs and other hateful words.😞 Oh my gosh, here I'm thinking 2 mins into your SBSK interview how I'd LOVE to have you as my BFF, or my niece, daughter, sister...whatever, as long as we're family! (P.S. I'm a 59 yr old white woman who loves kind people!) And there's people out there spewing hate?! Those people are jealous, bitter, and need to come off their high-horse.
I wish you and Cole much love, laughter, light, joy, and many blessings! Hugggs!💗
I also came here from SBSK. Thank you to Chris for sending me here. Cole and Charisma- y'all are GOALS!!! Subscribing to your channel now!!!
"One of my biggest fear after I had my accident was the fear of not find love " Cole, God created u with love and he was not going to turn his back against u he is a faithful God ,Charisma was made for u.
Wow!!! Fantastic video 🥰🥰🥰 I'm now following SBSK!!!!MY FAVORITE TWO PEOPLE C&C❤
Cole, what a sweetheart. So nice to hear a man wear his heart on his sleeve and show his emotions openly. So darn sweet you both are.
I'm invisibly disabled, relatively recently diagnosed. I really hope there's someone out there who will love me as much as you two obviously love each other. But, the older I get, the more I doubt it.
Do not give up hope.
Of course you deserve love. It’s a gift, nothing to take for granted, nothing we’re entitled to (whether we’re able bodied or not!), but every body is loveable.
I have invisible illness/disability as well. It will happen one day.
Cole, you bring tears to the eyes with your sincerity and wisdom. Charisma, you are radiant with brilliant energy and positivity. YOU two are perfect for one another!
I was so surprised to see you on SBSK. Been a subscriber to you and SBSK for a while and both channels are great!
I feel like a older proud big sister! You two are beyond amazing and real people. I love how you love life and each other. Keep doing what you doing and PLEASE don't let the negative comments stop you. Just remember you have a whole community of people who support you 1000%.
Oh Cole!! That last little segment at the very end...🥺😢😭❤ Bless you both, love you guys! 🙏🏽💕
Two of my fav channels colliding!
Just found y’all on SBSK and I’m excited to join your journey! I have a 22 year old daughter (nuerotypical) and a sweet 7 year old boy that has autism and they are my world.
This was a great video guys. I've seen many of his videos with different individuals. Keep up the goods work Cole and Charisma!!!!
I am so happy to see you guys it's been awhile, thanks for the update I do wish you both lots of success.
Here from SBSK and I just love your Story your So Braveand Wonderful to share your Story . your a Beautiful Amazing Couple..👍👍💯😇😇💙💙💙💙
