After a while, you can kinda tell which dubs were just voice actors reciting lines separately and which dubs actually had efforts put into them like gathering all the voice actors in the same room to make it feel more natural or at the very least having directors assist the delivery.

I dont know why people hate this game so much sure it isnt as good as Scarlet Nexus but its still a good game and sure its not for everyone (Which no game is) but its still not a bad game.
I ended up liking this a lot more than any of the Souls games I've played. This one is a lot easier for instance and that's a plus in my book. It meant I could really dive in and explore the twisted and interconnected pathways. In Souls games I was afraid of taking such risks due to the severe punishment you get for every mistake. The core gameplay itself is very similar, so if you like that aspect in a Souls game then you'll like it here too. And then there's the story. Overall I didn't really like it all that much, I just didn't care about any of the characters for some reason. And when the answers about the world and what's going on start coming in the answers felt pretty meh to me, aside from one really cool one. Story is subjective though, so you might feel different. What I did like about the story is the delivery. It's more direct and told mostly through cutscenes, unlike Souls games where it's all very cryptic and you really have to make an effort to find all the hidden pieces yourself. Very little of it is told by playing through the critical path. So I really liked how you get the full picture just by getting to the end in Code Vein.
Carnage Rage the creator did get the art style inspiration from the god eater games that is why you may see that monster as “Dyaus Pita” But other than that god eater and code vein are not connected.

I know this game is spectacular game with the swords or other weaponisation skills but how come they didn't add the guns when you switch to a gun battle or back into a sword fight or use the shields as like in God eater series & devour function is differentiate in this game?
She does at times though. From what I understand she hangs back away from action and comes out of hiding when needed. That's the story part, the gameplay doesn't really take it into account since you can have her in your party fighting along with you. Basically look at gameplay and story as separate things I guess.

I would agree with you but the monsters in God Eater follow a art style that take after dinosaurs while Code Vein is more similar to something from Persona or Final Fantasy. So although this could be a spin off, I think they were pushing it with putting Pitou in this even if only for a moment! Especially since the art form and the story gives off a fantasy/magic type of vibe rather than God Eater which gives off a supernatural/sci-fi vibe. But tbh they should have just made another season or second games instead of this as much as I hate being negative it’s just hard not to be when God Eater is such an underrated anime and should get so much more hype!!

They tried to piggyback on God Eater but changed the story so much when they should've just made a sequel that branches off from the GE games instead of a spin-off with such massive holes and that never connects the dots. I agree both had good and bad things, but I don't believe a story having a few good points can excuse such a flawed story and I think they thought a new game wouldn't sell, so they took little details from GE and put them in CV like Pita’s appearance allowing them to act like both games were connected so that GE fans would buy their game without the need to change/explain much of the story as well as create a new game from scratch. Also, I know they're both fantasy, but GE is more science fiction fantasy while CV is more supernatural fantasy like Full Metal Alchemist vs Demon Slayer. Yeah, before each boss you need to find their specific memories for you to be able to save them and that in turn unlocks the good ending.

@@randomman11167 Yeah, people are speculating it's the same world. Like in the final cutscene it's supposed to be an area from God Eater. I haven't played those games though, so I wouldn't know.
I would agree with you but the monsters in God Eater follow a art style that take after dinosaurs while Code Vein is more similar to something from Persona or Final Fantasy. So although this could be a spin off, I think they were pushing it with putting Pitou in this even if only for a moment! Especially since the art form and the story gives off a fantasy/magic type of vibe rather than God Eater which gives off a supernatural/sci-fi vibe. But tbh they should have just made another season or second games instead of this as much as I hate being negative it’s just hard not to be when God Eater is such an underrated anime and should get so much more hype!!
Don’t see how you’d feel insulted tbh. This was good in its own rights same with God eater but neither are masterpieces. Both have faults (especially if we bring in the GE anime which is very stereotypical). Also just seems weird to get mad that this game ,which is different, has a different art style and to say that it feels off for feeling like a fantasy even though God eater defiantly felt like that too and is even categorized as a fantasy when you look it up
@@streetgamer3452 Because I'm tired of all the wasted potential on anime and games that could've been way better, plus the horrible live-actions that I feel are rarely good. They tried to piggyback on God Eater but changed the story so much when they should've just made a sequel that branches off from the GE games instead of a spin-off with such massive holes and that never connects the dots. I agree both had good and bad things, but I don't believe a story having a few good points can excuse such a flawed story and I think they thought a new game wouldn't sell, so they took little details from GE and put them in CV like Pita’s appearance allowing them to act like both games were connected so that GE fans would buy their game without the need to change/explain much of the story as well as create a new game from scratch. Also, I know they're both fantasy, but GE is more science fiction fantasy while CV is more supernatural fantasy like Full Metal Alchemist vs Demon Slayer. Both have characters who need to find something to save their siblings after their family tragedies, like Ed getting Al’s body back after losing their mom and Tanjiro turning Nezuko human again after the killing of their whole family but who also must fight evil beings that kill humans who are mostly unaware of the monsters around them.
