Hell, I still play it from time to time trying to beat the game on a harder difficulty, finish those towers, and reach level 300.
Also, they could make an anime style based of this story itself lol. No new storyline or anything, I wouldn't mind watching the entire game's plot in anime style, it'd look sick as hell.

Those adding up with the successor relics you had already absorbed end up causing you to become the Queen. As she's about to attack your party, Louis strikes you through the heart and kills you to stop another Queen from wreaking havoc upon the revenants. With that, Mia takes Nicola's relic, Yakumo takes Emily's and Jack takes Eva's, becoming the new successors while Louie, now with the remaining relics, takes over Silva's place in maintaining the mist. The last scene you see is Io resting up against the blood spring where you met her, looking to the horizon as she turns to ash.
@@rafabuda0 [Spoilers to those who haven't done the bad ending.] You're forgetting the Relic of the Blood, your relic, alongside the fact that he broke his first-ever promise to you, the promise to never stab you in the back and the fact he has to live with that information, and the fact that Louis ended up taking your Relic, means he forever has a part of you with him, he will remember that for the rest of his life. Memories of playing this game for first time and seeing the true ending..
I LOVE THIS GAME AND THE SONG
I started crying when I first heard it, its beatifull...
This song makes me at ease. The face fits so well too. Ahh, I'm relaxed
この曲の日本語歌詞がCODE VEIN をプレイしていれば分かるもので歌詞が悲しいような感じがするのが好きです
When I started my first playthrough I did not really care about Cruz telling me what to do since I was more focused on learning what tf gifts are but on my second one I saw Cruz and was like
"Hey hold on a minute."
Io best game waifus ever

At first, I was only gonna listen to this for a second, but then I started doing something and listened to the whole thing and feeling much better afterwards
This song always makes me want to retry playing this game idk why I always start it but stop but this song always reminds me of the time I spent playing, currently redownloading it lol
Love this game so much
Man, when I first played this game and watched the Cinematic Trailer, I was like: "Let's go! This game looks sick as hell! It even looks cool in an anime style!" Then it turned straight to people dead, memories regained, and more pain.
10/10 game most definitely, would play again lol.
@@Mahsei They just have to come up with a character design that works.
@@starhammer5247 True. I also wish they made the co-op to where you could rest at the mistles with the host, and could stay and help them for as long as you want.
@@Mahsei That would be nice, the only issue is that the game would become too easy unless you mean allowing them to rest at a boss mistle and go through the entire game, in that case, it would be fine.
@doomslayer420 I was talking about the design for the main character, the side cast is fine it's just that the guys that choose to make an anime of this have to come up with a character design for the main character that works.
I am currently playing this game and i love it.
Be prepared for the endings, good is slightly bittersweet, neutral is just bittersweet, and bad will give you depression.
@@starhammer5247 tch acting like the first vestige you find of cruz and her visits weren't depressing enough. First time i got to them i had to put the controller down. Especially when she realized she was losing herself " Why me?" Me: OH HELL NO!!! I just got through the emotional turmoil that was Zack's death and now you throw THIS on me!?
@@Zarryon12 Oh the vestiges were definitely depressing, it's just that the endings are something you have control over so you feel responsible for what happens whereas with the vestiges you're just an outsider looking in so you have no control so you know that you can't do anything, but personally, I found Carmilla's vestiges to be far more depressing.
I got the normal and good ending. I don't wanna go and see what the bad ending is. I don't want to possibly cry
well, here it is under the [read more] if you want to know what happens.
In the "Heirs" ending, after you defeat the Skull King, your character ends up absorbing all of the Queen's relics he had.
I uselessly go for the good ending, i was never a big fan of bad endings because they always make me cry :(
@@DragonGirl2000 Unfortunately I wanted to 100% the game so that was never an option, and let me tell you, I felt like shit.
@@rafabuda0 [Spoilers to those who haven't done the bad ending.]
You're forgetting the Relic of the Blood, your relic, alongside the fact that he broke his first-ever promise to you, the promise to never stab you in the back and the fact he has to live with that information, and the fact that Louis ended up taking your Relic, means he forever has a part of you with him, he will remember that for the rest of his life. Realizing those facts makes the ending hit a lot harder than it should.
@@starhammer5247 100% the game is tough to do
I feel sad every time I hear this.
私はこの曲を気に入ってます!ピアノの音が綺麗で、歌声が響いて素敵だなぁと感じました。 9:23 ❤
This music sort of became a trauma for me as well, how happy I was when I first played this game and heard this music. Lost so much and a person I cared about the most(with whom I played this game). Now it hurts me to just hear this beautiful music because it reminds me of her.
I wish I was a psychopath with no emotions.
The most emotional part of this game for me was when I was able to save Eva, i cried.
Edit: I cried when I died a lot too lol
I was so glad to save them all which was the true ending but now, to get the other endings..... Sacrifices need to be made T-T..

Yeah I don't have it in me, got half way an just stopped.
I got the neutral end because I missed only a single successor (I think, I inherited the relic of the Queen from the Successor of Breath? And it showed no option of restoring)
the first time i heard this song
"What? Am i In Velvet room Or something?"
Wow the algorithm has been doing work lately so many old funny videos and songs I completely forgot about have been popping up. Soldiers, saving their commander, because they treated her like a daughter.
Woman, preparing two kids for the harsh world and sacrificing herself while winning them a time to escape.
Rival, who was mocking you, saving your life when you were asleep.

This is one of the most beautifull songs I´ve heard the only one better is Io´s song in the good ending. I hope we will get a Code Vein 2 some day. This game made me feel things I hadnt felt through a videogame in a long time.
yes please for the love of god...I finished it about a month ago(fucking virgin born). The only problem is...wtf are we gonna do now that we arent the successor of blood? Will we even play as our previous protagonist or someone else? will we be able to make our own blood code and evolve it as time goes on?

Code Vein? More like Code Pain and Suffering
@doomslayer420 most citizens in Code Vein are living in thirst, despair, pain, fear and suffering, they just want to live and not turn into Lost which should’ve been obvious to people who played the game?

its frustrating for me, because while i do recognise its a pretty good game, i cant help feeling like it was unpolished as fuck. a few combat elements felt off, a few build options were just bad, some mechanics not explained. but if you move past those things, yea, it was a pretty engaging and fun game
@doomslayer420 i dunno, parts of the combat and bosses felt like they could use some work. maybe its because i was playing launch version? but from the vids i was watching of the dlc and stuff, it didnt look much different. just personal opinion though, i would totally recommend the game to people
