I don't think anyone has really took notice the backgrounds in this game. The amount of detail is amazing. Room to room and area to area. Lighting and all.
I did man I have hardisk full of pics from this game the designers ..... work their asses I can't think how they design all this and I still find things I've missed even the sewers looks amazing
Yeah the detail is amazing that's why you needed a beast to run this at full setting back in 2016. Also anyone who plays an immersive sim and doesn't take time to walk around and experience the environment is really missing out everytime time i replay deus series dishonored series or prey 2017 i always find something new.
It’s not just the environment but also the background NPC, almost everyone is doing something that could happen in real life like at 38:54 there is a guy who drops his suitcase and picks it up. Everything feels alive in this game
To this day Deus Ex is still the single most realistic near future or "Cyberpunk" series I've ever seen. The way HR and MD are written and portrayed is so incredibly realistic it's almost eerie, especially with the incredible live action trailers and promo stuff. Even today nothing compares. I hope we'll someday see another DX game.
As much as i love the game i'm afraid Deus Ex is dead, in this day and age it's probably going to be controversial owing towards its realism and the original team is probably no longer intact after the company was acquired. If by some miracle we get a sequel, it will be a mere shadow of its former glory. The gaming scene has evolved past the timeframe where a sequel could have been profitable. Best they can do is a remaster i'm afraid. (lip smack) *what a shame...*
Loved the Illuminati scene. The whole setting is symbolic, everyone sitting whilst Page works in the shadows of the Illuminati, keeps a distance thinking, plotting his next move. If you haven't played or seen the original Deus Ex you would think Page is a nobody where in fact he's the most important character.
Hi! Anyone else noticed the red haired "unique women" before the trainstation attack? She is sittin right behind Vega's head (38:44) . When she walkes away she looks directly at Adam (39:07) . Later she can be seen again after the GARM (or w/e its name) mission. This time the city is under lockdown only police officers and few civilians can be seen but they are all in custody except her she walks freely. (2:58:29) Im pretty sure she isn't just a random women.
That would be Madame Photograph(e)? You can hack into one of her terminals in a side quest that reveals she's been spying on you for a while, at the request of the people who put the experimental augs inside you.
and the bomber from the train station walks past you IN the station before the bombs go off. He tries to cover his face with one hand as he passes you. Miller gives you his description later on. There's a ton of little details in "blink and you miss them" moments. Not to mention all of the call-backs and call-forwards to Human Revolution AND the original game. (The MJ12 cabal, etc).
At 42:25 in your video, Sarif's message is just composed of some texts which are displayed on the screen while you wander like you want in Jensen's appartement, so it's not really a cutscene xD. But it could have been : If you had clicked on the bedroom's windows, Sarif's message would have been displayed inside a true cutscene. Jensen would have opened the shutters and looked at Prague's sky why listening to the message. That said, excellent video :)
I love this game I don't care what anyone says. I'm truly picky when it comes to anything really but this game pulled me in. Very interesting and I love how great this game looks
I havn't actually started to watch the actual game footage yet. I just want to comment on that live-action intro scene. And holy crap, that was really powerful. _Mechanical Apartheid_, wow.
I'm looking forward to playing Cyberpunk2077. But I still want to see conclusion of DeusEx Adam's story also. So, please give me final episode of this.
Well, 100 new jobs will be created by Square Enix and Eidos in Montreal in 2019. It proves nothing, but hopefully... It would really be a shame if Adam Jensen's story would end with a Cliffhanger.
I think they work on this game long time ago. They only dont want to get any pressure so they decide to abnounce it if they were far in the development. I really want to know if the member of the illuminati is Janus himself.
Holy Shit man. Other Channel's have barely started posting playthrough vids, one day after release and this guy has already posted the fully edited movie cut. Subscribed!
Just wanted to say that I appreciate these uploads...I'm sure some parts of getting all of these spliced together to a point can really take away from a decent gaming experience otherwise and possibly even ruin a game overall for you (wondering if that's happened at all by the way?). I do get some damn good entertainment out of these games as movies, more often than not even more so than actual movies from the theatres. I wish Hollywood would realize again the value and draw of an original and creative storyline for a movie.....games are really what seem to still be hitting that mode. anyhow...enough rambles. thanks and keep up the good work!!!
You could kind of tell there was supposed to be more to this game. Just imagine Viktor being the first boss for the first area being Prague. Then once you defeat him, you get a lead to another area to hunt another person, just like the HR structure. I bet this game would’ve been a whole lot better
Agreed. You take out Victor, Jensen makes a pretty pointless stance by the window, has a conversation with Alex and than the camera slowly zooms on the tv while the news are on talking about the stuff that happens in the aftermath, which would have been more interesting if Eliza wasn't the one talking about the news. It's one of those endings that left as quickly as they entered :/
Dan Eyal The original story of this game was twice as long, Square Enix cut it in half to make a third Deus Ex game which probably won't come out for another 3-4 years. So it isn't the end.
That just makes me want nothing to do with Square Enix anymore. To ruin this game due to their greed is completely unacceptable. I know this prequel has its problems and all, but seriously, who wants to pay 60 dollars for a game that's half the size it should have been? Greedy hacks...
Dan Eyal Let's not forget this takes place long before the time of the original Deus Ex evident of Illuminatus Bob Page being alive in this timeline, the Grand schemes of the Illuminati are in a much larger scale than in this game alone.
I've been waiting for this game about 5 years and I feel truly disapointed. I lost like 80% of my interest in it and actually after I finished playing the last Witcher I'm more curious about CD Projekt REDs Cyberpunk 2077.
I hope they will touch upon Gunther Herman and Anna Navarre in the next game, perhaps Walton Simons as well. None of the DX games have dissapointed me. Well 'Invicible War' when I first played it, but after replaying it recently I liked it. I liked 'Mankind Divided', but still, 'Deus Ex' and 'Human Revolution' are still my favourites.

the lip movements don't match the speech. they can make amazing visuals and animations but the lipsync is like something out of ps2. get it together square enix
I did most of the main missions on my first play through. You can do all but one of the main and side missions (and when you choose to do them affects how easy/hard some of the others are later (the glitch/the golden ticket for example). There's ONE hard choice (do this and this person dies, do the other, and someone else will ) like the previous game - but it's very possible to do like 98% of the game and fulfill most of the missions.
boy i'd be pretty cautious pissing of "the 6 million dollar man" if this were to ever happen. I know it is to a degree right now, but how far will prosthesis go? Both arms and legs ? What about a full prosthetic body and only keeping the original head? This game brings up a real interesting perspective I've never thought about as technology continues to advance. Well done.
Turns out they made us into discount Russians. How endearing. I might consider myself insulted if I hear one more clearly-Russian accent from a "local". They apparently do not understand, but our accent is much softer than Russian. It's an entire different branch of the original Slavic tribes. Hell, locals CAN'T PRONOUNCE LOCAL NAMES. And if they DO happen to have someone actually speak Czech, the subtitles aren't a very good match. On top of feeling forced. Where did they pick up these VA's? Streets of Prague?
I agree… but it’s unfortunately quite realistic: North Americans generally don’t bother to fit in, when they live here in Europe (some do and learn really well the local language, just not the majority, and especially not foreign workers).
I speak Russian and whole the way through the game it was like a cringe contest listening through those stereotypical Russian accents. Even worse is the Breach part where you have to listen to a woman with a fake Russian accent who supposed to be Czech. Seriously, I understand that it can be hard to achieve a culture specifics, but damn... At least do a proper research if you chose a location .
Majrbek K. Yeah! Not to mention, HOW MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE WOULD IT BE TO GET SOME OF OUR ACTORS TO DO IT?! Older games had it. Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis, Vietcong, Mafia... In some cases, our voice acting was actually BETTER than the English version (looking at you Mafia, you magnificent game). BUT WHEN A BUNCH OF GOD DAMN CANADIANS MAKE A GAME, THEY HAVE TO MAKE US INTO DISCOUNT RUSSIANS. And as you say, it's still a cringe! Not to mention they couldn't even be bothered to research the pronunciation of Vaclav, or even Czech female first names, because I sure as hell haven't met an Allison in all my years upon this world. Oh, if you ask for Alice, however... Yeah, I remember a few.
I like the part where Jensen says "Im not big on the classics." Evading the question to not reveal anything about himself, as we know he is obsessed with the myth of Icarus.
When Smiley mentions what the bomb timing mechanism was, Adam knows about the company and what they do. Adam tinkers with clocks and clockwork, it's his hobby. Shown in the previous game.
This game would have been a blast had it not been for horrendous voice acting.. I am native Czech and believe me the heavy Russian accent of "Czech" characters basically spoiled the thing for me.. I just couldn't get over it, it'd been ripping my ears time and again, as it were.. Not to mention the fact that "Czechs" in the game totally butcher all the Czech names... Come on game developers, I speak both proper Czech and fluent English with "genuine" Czech accent haha.. I would gladly volunteer to do voice acting for such a game and am pretty sure there are many Czechs like me who'd join happily as well.. And you'd have proper Czech where it is becoming plus fluent English dialogues spoken with Czech accent.. :D Piece of cake but apparently nobody thought of it, maybe next time?
Hey Peter, send your resumé to Square Enix Montreal so they know you exist. They can't hire who they need if the people they need never show themselves.
The italian dub of this game was very very nice. Better than the english one. I linked this video to some czech friends I have and they told me the same thing you wrote.
Strange. From one point, I expected some serious Jensen vs Illuminati fight in this game. But they notice him only at the end of the game. Damn, I really love this whole ghost in the shell feel as well. And damn... Jensen is fucking Jesus. Fighting Illuminati so smart, so hard. And being all that cool and almighty... can't shove off feeling, that that last guy even was planning all ahead to make from a Jensen some kind of God.
As much as I like this game and Jensen as a character. I strongly feel that they never reached the premise’s full potential, you can’t have a story of segregation and racism towards augmented people when you’re running around with your Interpol papers and have all the privileges that other augmented people don’t have. They could have done so much more with this.
Well, it was difficult to get access to areas shut off from augmented people so yeah, as a player you understand the complex problem at hand. How no one side is right but they both have their points.
Wow u guys r super fast n huge thx 4 that. I was waiting 4 this game movie a lot.Btw what time 2day they released the game n did u guys play straight away? Anyways great content as always n keep it up ☺☺☺☺
Yeah you'll never see this series again... they won't risk a netflix series and all. It's way to accurate and if you look into the lore it existed long before it became reality........ especially the virus stuff
You can spot Madame Photographe spying on Adam throughout the game. 38:53 Getting up and walking away from the table in the background before the bombs detonate. 2:58:30 Spying on Adam and Vega through the window in the background. Only two times I've seen her, anyone spotted her elsewhere?
"Madame Photographe is an Illuminati agent seen in Prague in 2029. She has an apartment unit in the Lilioma Courtyard Apartments directly west of Task Force 29's Headquarters and is readily identifiable by her bright red hair. Contents[show] Biography Edit Madame Photographe has been instructed by Elizabeth DuClare to trail Alex Vega, while working in conjunction with the "Watcher" who is observing Adam Jensen. She also maintains a storage unit at her apartment complex, where photographs pertaining to her operation can be seen. Madame Photographe can be seen passing in front of Jensen and Vega at the Růžička Station momentarily before the explosion of the bombs. Later, Vadim Orlov uses her apartment when he is in Prague to check on the status of certain assets. However, if Jensen decides to investigate the background of his experimental augmentations during The Mystery Augs, Madame Photographe kills Orlov inside her apartment as a result of Orlov having been compromised. Later, when Prague is under Martial Law, Madame Photographe can be seen outside the L.I.M.B. clinic while Jensen and Vega are conversing inside. By this time, her apartment and storage unit have been cleared out." ~From the Deus Ex Wiki~
I have to say Marčenko was one of the best villains in a game I seen. Great voice acting, looks and he is not one sided. He has strong principles and not easily hated I felt on his side during the game.
The ending with Eliza Cassan scares me, given American politics and media. Yet, some people on either Clinton or Trump's camp seem to think they're aware.
Same thing with the entire political spectrum. Liberal vs. Conservative. Left wing vs. Right wing. It's all a distraction, yet many are too blind or too complacent to admit it, let alone care. It's only when the real trouble comes at their front door do people start to care.
I don't think anyone has really took notice the backgrounds in this game. The amount of detail is amazing. Room to room and area to area. Lighting and all.

Only 11 minutes in and so far it's better than anything I have seen on TV or film in over 10 years. lol.
that's the recap of Deus Ex Human Revolution best game ever
The world building in this game is great, definitely fits well with the "human augmentation" theme in the story.

Things like this have occurred in every dues ex to date, even the originals, you have keen eyes
That would be Madame Photograph(e)? You can hack into one of her terminals in a side quest that reveals she's been spying on you for a while, at the request of the people who put the experimental augs inside you.

Three Things I Love About Dues Ex;
1: The Main Character Shares My Last Name
2: The Music And Story Line
3: The Art And Gameplay
Much of the music in this one is reused from the previous games. I recognised the Hong Kong theme from DE 1, and a few pieces from HR, too.
I love the banter between Jensen and Duncan throughout that first mission...
Graphics of this game is really good even in todays standard
The music is unreal..Love the story, the character everything..

just watching part of this brings me back
"Once Rucker is dead, I'm sure he [Brown] will make his move."
What move? The London conference?
✨I never asked for this ✨
you need to do another playthrough. because the choices in this one...well, they kinda sucked. sorry.
cause i wanna see the side quests too xD
agreed lol
He annoyed me with his choices man 😠😂
I did most of the main missions on my first play through.
Well done.
17:16 This quote I live by.
Lol I love around 1:15:00 Jensen sneaks by an officer, has a chat with him, and kills him within 30 seconds.
You forgot the 1010101010 quest that happened while talking about the Bank and Bomb Maker... the terminal making noises right infront of you.
Streets of Prague?
that's the problem of English game/movie makers. They always do it wrong. Whether that is European lang or Asian lang. Always.
I don't speak Czech but I always wonder why everyone in Prague has a Russian accent in this game.
Played this game. I liked the first one more, but I am super excited for #3 when it comes out
Good luck with that lol
This guy has a very soothing voice.
It's 2022 and all we have is Apple's "Dynamic Island"...
Prediction: people divided by biotech aug...
Reality: people divided by new sexual interest...
wat
I was waiting for this! got damn I need a snack
Great Video, favorite channel on TH-cam by far
I like the part where Jensen says "Im not big on the classics." Evading the question to not reveal anything about himself, as we know he is obsessed with the myth of Icarus.
When Smiley mentions what the bomb timing mechanism was, Adam knows about the company and what they do. Adam tinkers with clocks and clockwork, it's his hobby. Shown in the previous game.
Darrow was obsessed with Icarus, Jensen just played the part
That intro was a warning about coronavirus
Petr Horák oh
Hey Peter, send your resumé to Square Enix Montreal so they know you exist. They can't hire who they need if the people they need never show themselves.
Get over it squirt,. an accurate Czech accent is absolutely unimportant.
If we get it wrong all the time, then nobody ever has to get it right! true progress!
I bet You support blm
Well, it was difficult to get access to areas shut off from augmented people so yeah, as a player you understand the complex problem at hand. How no one side is right but they both have their points.
Wow u guys r super fast n huge thx 4 that. I was waiting 4 this game movie a lot.Btw what time 2day they released the game n did u guys play straight away?
Anyways great content as always n keep it up ☺☺☺☺
+Jo Kwon embargo went down at 3pm yesterday. We got the game a couple of days ago
I fell asleep whilst watching hitman at 10:00 and woke up to this rip of version of it at 4:43
Yeah you'll never see this series again... they won't risk a netflix series and all.
DarthSithari OMFG
"Madame Photographe is an Illuminati agent seen in Prague in 2029. She has an apartment unit in the Lilioma Courtyard Apartments directly west of Task Force 29's Headquarters and is readily identifiable by her bright red hair.
Contents[show]
Biography Edit
Madame Photographe has been instructed by Elizabeth DuClare to trail Alex Vega, while working in conjunction with the "Watcher" who is observing Adam Jensen.
By this time, her apartment and storage unit have been cleared out."
~From the Deus Ex Wiki~
GLP has done it again lol.
+Jake Hunter hahaha, thanks dude. You always supporting us and we love it!
This movie concept is brilliant.
I have to say Marčenko was one of the best villains in a game I seen. Great voice acting, looks and he is not one sided. He has strong principles and not easily hated I felt on his side during the game.
The movie at the begining is better than the game
holy shit that opening
This is just not a game but what will happen in future. Open your eyes and think, they trying to tell us something.
Loved the video image !
your videos are icy good going
I need to play this again!
Let’s!
It's too bad this story doesn't hold a candle to Human Revolution. But it's still good enough
As always, the Deus Ex franchise was and still is ahead of its time.
Love u guys u rock thanks for giving us this
They should have more sequel, bring Megan Reed back!
I don't see the point of a sequel with CP2077 around the corner. I would like a movie to wrap things up though.
@Samuel Andre I admit CP wasn't what we thought it would be. But I'm still still wondering if another Deus EX game is worth it?
@Samuel Andre I know what you are saying. I still think the story should be concluded, but as a game? I really don't know.
2:12 The real Alex Jones is only about 1000x crazier -__-
you never got the Invisibility Cloak?
It was underpowered in this one... There is more valuable augs to get around.
Ian False
The ending with Eliza Cassan scares me, given American politics and media. Yet, some people on either Clinton or Trump's camp seem to think they're aware.
Vincent Vlatkovic Li
Yup
Same thing with the entire political spectrum. Liberal vs. Conservative. Left wing vs. Right wing. It's all a distraction, yet many are too blind or too complacent to admit it, let alone care. It's only when the real trouble comes at their front door do people start to care.
Vincent Vlatkovic Li It's all a distraction, go ask any inmate how a prison works, that's how they run the world.
