That is because she was invited to be with the royals at most of their residences and participate in royal activities for almost a decade before they married. She has years to see if she would like that life and if she could fit in. Then she and William lived together in a small cottage in Wales for a few years before getting married with just one part time housekeeper. That is why Kate always appears so authentic and natural. She has not changes in all of the important ways when she became a royal. I read that George and Charlotte love to cook with her, and William also cooks some of the meals! He married the right woman!
Surprisingly the cake looks really good. I originally thought it was chocolate, with a chocolate sauce - but it’s a toffee. Hmmmm The only question I have is: why did he cut it with a spoon? Is that how they serve came across the pond? 🤔😂
had never heard of that type of sugar, namely Muscovado sugar. So I looked it up. The chef says it is essential so I will keep an eye out for it. here is what I found: Muscovado sugar also known as khandsari and khand, is a type of partially refined to unrefined sugar with a strong molasses content and flavour.

Diana only met Charles on 12 occasions before they announced their engagement.
Sophie and Edward are a happy couple because Sophie also had 5 years discreetly living with Edward in Buckingham Palace and was also invited to all the royal country residences with the family to see if she would like being royal and if she could fit in.
Meghan I think only me the Queen on two occasions and never spend time with the royals to see how she would like it.
Sticky toffee (or date) pudding is my favorite desert too!
Looks relish! Can we have the recipe please
here it is! theroyalchef.com/chocolate-sticky-toffee-pudding/
@@delish Thank you so much! That looks amazing!
In Canada we have a cake ( pudding) similar to this not as fancy because it uses regular sugar and ironically it's called Queen Elizabeth cake
“They’re just like us” what a funny statement
Just love Kate, she’s so down to earth and she’d make a great queen. Wish u knew what best bread is I’m allergic to yeast so have to knock all my fav stuff out. I can’t even have hot cross buns at Easter. Love sticky toffee pudding but I’m allergic to sugar as well
Duchess of Cambridge is an inspiration for working moms worldwide.
That is why Kate always appears so authentic and natural. She has not changes in all of the important ways when she became a royal. I read that George and Charlotte love to cook with her, and William also cooks some of the meals! He married the right woman!
sorry, changed and not changes
God Americans have no idea how amazing this is
The Robinsons Family Of course they do!!
MARY HARTMAN, MARY HARTMAN he’s talking about the food, stupid 🤦🏻♀️😂😂😂😂😂
The calmest chef!
Surprisingly the cake looks really good. I originally thought it was chocolate, with a chocolate sauce - but it’s a toffee. Hmmmm
The only question I have is: why did he cut it with a spoon? Is that how they serve came across the pond? 🤔😂
he cut it with a spoon to also get the sauce he put on it.
A date cake!? Wow! This woman truly knows how to get through life and has one of the best tastes. I’m an Arab and I’m very proud.
had never heard of that type of sugar, namely Muscovado sugar. So I looked it up. The chef says it is essential so I will keep an eye out for it. here is what I found: Muscovado sugar also known as khandsari and khand, is a type of partially refined to unrefined sugar with a strong molasses content and flavour.
I sure am enjoying ur show! Thank you sir for the inspiration and recipes! I made ur “ Balmoral Shortbreads”...they turned out perfect...I cried when I took a bite. Reminded me of my grandmama Anderson from Edinburgh...how I miss her and my mom! Christmas at my grandmas was so special, shortbreads, and Plum Pudding ! Again, thank you sir.
it pisses me off that this man isn’t recognized by the royals
He was a servant, he was a cook with the queen, it was when Princess Diana divorced and moved that she made him her personal chef. I think it's because she would sneak down to the kitchen at odd hours when he was working and they would chat. She got to know him
Why are you pissed? He is really proud of his career. I don't think you understand what a position if service is. He's had the best life.
@@DaysOfDarknessUK Nobody cares about _your_ opinion.
I’m so glad I’m a British Canadian!
