Seeing that he was busy, Princess Diana was kind enough to make her own coffee and also made him a cup as well. This right here is why I always LOVED Princess Diana. So down to earth and humble. It would've been an honor to cook for her.
I really like Darren McGrady, he's never tried to embellish his relationships with Diana or members of the royal family to make them more than they genuinely were and is unfailingly respectful.
Diana stands apart from most royals. She was super cool, easy going, grounded, extremely friendly and affectionate and most importantly she did not care much about hierarchy. She was close to people and therefore always won hearts. She was such a darling !! Miss her infectious beautiful smile & look !!! QUEEN OF HEARTS FOR A REASON !! Rest in Peace !!!
She will be always missed in my heart and I know for a fact no other princess will ever be able to replace her. She was a super human kind and beautiful and gracious..,but the way that looks incredible and honestly I really like this chef
While he descbribes Princess Diana walking trough the kitchen and being super nice to everyone, all i can think about is that Cinderella's scene, where she is in the kitchen making breakfast, feeding the animals and being lovely to the little rats there
I struggle with bulimia/anorexia myself I also live on my own so I find it really difficult to find the motivation to cook! Strangely I had a really strong craving for stuffed bell peppers and came across this video! I love Princess Diana thank you for this video, it really has given me the motivation to cook this recipe for myself. In honour and remembrance of her overcoming the battles I’m currently facing in regards to her ED! Thank u for this video
2:12 Not only did the princess make her own coffee respecting the fact that her chef was busy but also had the courtesy to ask him if he wanted one! And she made him one! I am so humbled! I don’t think there’s a higher privilege in this world to be served coffee by this princess and sit down to drink it with her!!! God bless her soul and may she rest in peace for all eternity in God’s heavenly abode! 🙏🏻🙇🏻♂️
It was sweet, sure. But let's be honest, it's a polite thing to do, and usually most people would. That shows that she was quite down to earth, and this is the way it should be.
How did I not know this video existed before now?! I think that he is just a delightful gem of a human being and clearly Princess Diana adored and trusted him. :) How sweet that he took the time to really pay attention to so many things about her. Definitely a wonderful man who deserved his position.
I remember seeing a magazine with her wedding picture (it was probably a tribute to her because it was a new issue), and to little 6 year old me, it was basically mind blowing to see a real picture of a princess. She looked exactly like the princesses in the storybooks I had (beautiful, blonde, big elegant dress). I can’t even imagine what being in the same room as her would have been like. I was only a little girl, so I had no idea that Diana had already passed from this world, nor did I know of the horrible things she had to go through. She died way before I was even born. I can’t help but think of all the people who were happy simply by her being around them. She may have passed away young, but she will surely never be forgotten.
I love that she casually strolled into the kitchen and wanted to watch them cook and loved being in the kitchen sharing stories like a family really didn’t come down to throw her weight around just to be a part of things even sharing a coffee with them. So sweet.
Netflix has some amazing documentaries about Princess Diana and it breaks my heart to see what an astonishing person she was and what happened to her. She will always be our princess she has lived on in spirit and no one will come close 💕 I really enjoyed this video that dish looks delicious and the egg white tip! Wow
Darren seems like such a kind soul. It always makes me feel terrible when workers are treated as less than human. I'm glad Princess Diana was always trying to make people feel welcomed and appreciated, even if she was royalty. You can tell it really had an impact on the people around her.
Princess Diana has something special in her..... I am 16 and by listening about her she fascinates me and makes me think how good it would have been if she was alive❤️
She was the best thing that ever happened to the Royal family, beauty ,grace ,humble, a great humanitarian a light in time of darkness , she was truthly loved by the World 🌎
I really enjoy these stories and I too love stuffed peppers! I make an oven full of them at one shot and then freeze what ever I can't eat in a week. They freeze great and are quick to re-heat on those off days when you just feel like having stuffed peppers for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Oh, and there is no wrong way to make a stuffed pepper, it's a truly excellent dish!
Living on the other side of Europe, my grandma and mom always had fascination with British Royals, especially Diana, for some reason. My mother read somewhere that stuffed peppers were Diana's fav dish, and she would make them at least once a week when in season. After Di died, the dish took on additional meaning...
Stories like this is why Princess Diana is renowned as the "People's Princess," she utilized her royal status to bring awareness to the people that society swept aside or would like to forget. Then when it came to her staff and people she'd interact with directly, she was, very human about it. She wanted to talk with you person to person, not commoner to noble.
I have a feeling Princess Diana enjoyed hanging out in the kitchen, talking to this sweet guy.....probably helped her feel like she was just a normal person instead of royalty

She was my first crush; I was 6 years old. And now, 23 years later, she ends up winning my heart again :,)
@@quackss6384 I don’t think you know what that means buddy
Aww that’s so cute!
Why ?
“Princess Diana sat there watching me cook”
“Princess Diana made me coffee”
WOW 😯
~ morning coffee
I wished I’ve seen princess Diana. She did a lot in this world and made her chef coffee while he was busy, it really shows what kind of a character she is. They’ll won’t be a princess like her ever. Rip
Seeing that he was busy, Princess Diana was kind enough to make her own coffee and also made him a cup as well. This right here is why I always LOVED Princess Diana. So down to earth and humble. It would've been an honor to cook for her.
Wow she even made coffee for him, she’s the most humble.
Well, maybe the most ...... .
She was very humble, it’s almost a rare trait
I really like Darren McGrady, he's never tried to embellish his relationships with Diana or members of the royal family to make them more than they genuinely were and is unfailingly respectful.
Diana stands apart from most royals. She was super cool, easy going, grounded, extremely friendly and affectionate and most importantly she did not care much about hierarchy. She was close to people and therefore always won hearts. She was such a darling !! Miss her infectious beautiful smile & look !!! QUEEN OF HEARTS FOR A REASON !! Rest in Peace !!!
That's why she's the most loved princess of all times! More than carrying her royal title desperately, she's a true human with a kind heart! ❤️
I would 100% watch an animated movie about this guy's life.
She will be always missed in my heart and I know for a fact no other princess will ever be able to replace her. She was a super human kind and beautiful and gracious..,but the way that looks incredible and honestly I really like this chef
Maybe Charlotte will end up with the same kind spirit as her grandmother
While he descbribes Princess Diana walking trough the kitchen and being super nice to everyone, all i can think about is that Cinderella's scene, where she is in the kitchen making breakfast, feeding the animals and being lovely to the little rats there
That is weird.
@@ritahorvath8207 i really don't care ya know
@@ritahorvath8207 why the heck are you opposing to every comment in the comment section
😬
And plus this comment is so wholesome
I was just thinking the exact same thing.
Tanja Winter Guess you’re right Tanja.
Its like he's talking about a fairytale character..Diana was kind, graceful everything
I will never get tired to hear stories about Lady Di....still, to this day....my favorite woman in the royal family
How did I not know this video existed before now?!
I think that he is just a delightful gem of a human being and clearly Princess Diana adored and trusted him. :)
How sweet that he took the time to really pay attention to so many things about her.
So sweet.
As a chef myslef this is amazing to watch. What a career this man had. Such a nice soul too. Sort of unusual in my line of work.

Diana sounds like such a loving and caring person. She was so down to earth and a great person i’m general. I wish I could have met her :)
"Oh, I'll make it, you're busy"
"Would You Like One"
This Alone Explains the great and bright soul she was
she really is and always will be the queen of people's hearts
I'm glad he set the record straight about her enjoying eating and having a good temperament.
I want the full recipe for the stuffed peppers, including the sauce!! It looks delicious. 😍
Probably the only famous person I cried for after her death
Why ?
You didn't know her though. Doesn't that strike you as a bit weird?
@@dale7226 well that’s how amazing her kind aura was...she was different
@@dale7226 I mean when she died many people across the country cried since she was loved by everyone here
@@RackHasAttacked None of those crying en masse knew her. It just strikes me as odd.
The Princess offering the Chef Coffee... So undone. That woman was a WONDER ! :-)
Yes, crazy, is it ?
I enjoy Chef McGrady. I like the affection in his voice when he talks about the people he cooked for.
that’s why everyone loved her she was so humble and caring
Netflix has some amazing documentaries about Princess Diana and it breaks my heart to see what an astonishing person she was and what happened to her. She will always be our princess she has lived on in spirit and no one will come close 💕 I really enjoyed this video that dish looks delicious and the egg white tip! Wow
He needs his own show!!!
Darren seems like such a kind soul. It always makes me feel terrible when workers are treated as less than human. I'm glad Princess Diana was always trying to make people feel welcomed and appreciated, even if she was royalty. You can tell it really had an impact on the people around her.
I love him! He speaks so gently and respectfully of her!! I love it! He has so many sweet memories with the Princess and her Boys❤❤
this made me tear up, she was so sweet! truly a princess, one of a kind 🥺
I love watching him cook, it’s so effortless and relaxing. When I cook it’s hard work and the kitchen looks as if something had exploded.
Princess Diana has something special in her..... I am 16 and by listening about her she fascinates me and makes me think how good it would have been if she was alive❤️
It’s 2020 and Princess Diana is still relevant today. A true legend❤️
Well ..............
She was the best thing that ever happened to the Royal family, beauty ,grace ,humble, a great humanitarian a light in time of darkness , she was truthly loved by the World 🌎
He comes off as so pleasant. I like him, I bet he loved cooking for Diana she seemed so sweet & Humble, bless her Soul.
This recipe is actually really good. It looks Absolutely delicious and is really healthy. God bless the Princess and her fine choices.
Princess Diana, legendary kind and marvellously wonderful.
Imagine being able to cook for Lady Di. It's more than a whole honor honestly. Bless this man for feeding her
I don't like cooking.
He’s such a sweet guy and clearly loved how human like Diana was
I never cared about the royals but Princess Diana was different.
I cried when she died. I can’t imagine ever crying for any of the other Royals. She was truly relatable and beautiful, inside and out ❤️
I like that the princes were not subjected to the adults tastes. They were ordering off the kids menu like regular kids
