I am Colombian, and I actually prefer Pia, she is more down to earth. Even If I love my country, sometimes we don't choose the best people to represent it. Hopefully the miss Colombia of this year will do a great job, she seems really humble, and social wise, which is the most important part of a miss universe, beauty is just a plus. 😊

A crown is not something you can easily split and share. It's not like a plaque that you can write and honor multiple names. There's a reason why a crown is something put on somebody's head, because it symbolizes intellect, responsibility and headship. And that should be a head of one person who have the privilege, right and capacity to fulfill that responsibility. One crown, one head.

She was a kind of beauty i could fall for even if she just woke up with messed hair, pyjama sans make up. Yes thats true beauty. Then her swimsuit round sultry walk and there was a versatile diva who could easily switch her forms. 2 : during the MU announcement mishap. She was the undisputed winner but didnt let the natural supremacist tendency take over. She was hesitantto celebrate the most important moment of her life coz another woman was mourning her loss. She compassionately answered all the negativity from the loser brigade despite being the undisputed winner. What a sensitive person this must be. 3 : Finally I googled about her journey. She tried at binibining philipines twice and didn't give up despite humble background, losing twice & catching up age relative to other contestants. Such a positive person. Her reign was also so graceful PS: Initially that disaster by Steve seemed like a huge injustice to Pia & Ariadna coz her moment was robbed... But the silver lining is that somewhere god wanted to show that she isnt just a well spoken, rehearsed & poised beauty we have every year as MU, she was much more. This lady came after 42 years of wait and what a person she is.

Everything from her shocked facial look when she won the crown to her radiating warm smile to her answers here just seem so genuine and honest. It’s 2019 and I just watched this video for the first time. It came across on my video recommendations while watching Catriona’s videos. I don’t think the crown should be shared to the 1st runner up just to console her for the mistake. And Colombia is very cocky to even think like that. That simply means that moment when she was already wearing the crown, her ego grew into a humongous size in a rapid pace.

I am Colombian, and I actually prefer Pia, she is more down to earth. Even If I love my country, sometimes we don't choose the best people to represent it. I understand Miss Colombia must be devastated, but you can see it just before the end when before any winner got announced, Miss Colombia was real proud and snotty, and when she turned her head away from Miss Philippines she seemed real stuck up, (during the announcement) that alone says something about one's attitude, and not a good thing either. Rewatch it, you can see it. A crown is not something you can easily split and share. It's not like a plaque that you can write and honor multiple names. There's a reason why a crown is something put on somebody's head, because it symbolizes intellect, responsibility and headship. 1 : when she participated in blue fishtail gown, i was mesmerized by her innocent sparkling eyes having childlike vibe. She was a kind of beauty i could fall for even if she just woke up with messed hair, pyjama sans make up. Yes thats true beauty.
Then her swimsuit round sultry walk and there was a versatile diva who could easily switch her forms.
2 : during the MU announcement mishap. She was the undisputed winner but didnt let the natural supremacist tendency take over. She was hesitantto celebrate the most important moment of her life coz another woman was mourning her loss. She compassionately answered all the negativity from the loser brigade despite being the undisputed winner. What a sensitive person this must be.
3 : Finally I googled about her journey. She tried at binibining philipines twice and didn't give up despite humble background, losing twice & catching up age relative to other contestants. Such a positive person. Her reign was also so graceful
PS: Initially that disaster by Steve seemed like a huge injustice to Pia & Ariadna coz her moment was robbed... But the silver lining is that somewhere god wanted to show that she isnt just a well spoken, rehearsed & poised beauty we have every year as MU, she was much more. This lady came after 42 years of wait and what a person she is.

It’s 2019 and I just watched this video for the first time. It came across on my video recommendations while watching Catriona’s videos.
I don’t think the crown should be shared to the 1st runner up just to console her for the mistake. And Colombia is very cocky to even think like that. That simply means that moment when she was already wearing the crown, her ego grew into a humongous size in a rapid pace.

Just because it was announced wrong winner incorrectly why would Pia share the crown. She earn it , she deserves it. She was shining from the start and it's not her fault for the mistake that Steve had made.

Columbia saying they should share it is ridiculous. Why should Philippines give half her title away for one man’s mistake?! Plus Philippines killed it! Her looks, body, poise and her answer to every question was perfect! I saw a Miss Universe in Miss Philippines and you could see how genuine and sweet she is from her reaction to losing then winning.
